This is a tough show to really review.
I really liked what this show started as, a reverse isekai that finally does something we've been begging for years, a CROSSOVER between different animes. It creates generic anime heroes and characters from many existing shows and pits them battle royale against each other. The vast majority of the characters are fleshed out well, and coupled with a strong OP, great voice actors and amazing art, for the first half of the show I thought I was watching a masterpiece.
At some point, the writers deemed it necessary to buff the antagonist in order to counteract a plot hole
...
they created in their main character's strengths that allowed them to do almost anything the writers dreamed of. From there, they essentially wrote themselves into a hole by making the antagonist essentially unkillable and came up with several elaborate and extremely boring battle episodes which ultimately were ultimately meaningless and overly drawn out.
I'm trying to avoid heavy spoilers so I'll just say this. Like many great shows (Game of thrones and Kado being a shining example of this),the writers created this wonderful world with tons of likable characters and a solid plot. At some point they remembered they needed to wrap up the plot and were like HOLY SHIT WHAT DO WE DO????
Although this show was never quite the trainwreck that Kado was, the writing quality took a massive nosedive after they started trying to actually defeat the main villain. They never really attempted to explain where the whole "anime IRL" thing came from, they gave random characters absurdly overly convenient powers and technology to wrap up the story, and they just made a really, REALLY shitty villain.
I honestly was expecting this show to remain brilliant, and I really hope it's the start of a new genre of reverse isekai shows. There were enough things about it that kept the story fairly enjoyable even at the end, and the fantastic characters and interesting premise managed to keep it afloat.
Would I recommend re:creators? Hell yes I would. Would I call it amazing? Definitely not. Like Kado, it started really strong but ultimately failed to do anything with the story and world it created. At the bare minimum at least it ended the story in a somewhat satisfying way, which is more than 90% of anime out there (Such as Kado). It was ultimately a very good show, but the bad writing dragged it down from the masterpiece series it could have been.

I have very mixed feelings about this show. What started off strong as a feudal era samurai show with stuff from the future kind of like drifters basically just collapsed in on itself, I can't even bring myself to care enough to follow the plot anymore and am probably just going to end up dropping it. The show starts with some very nice artwork but it lacks basically anything else.
The cast is painfully generic, there are way too many people and not enough actual character development. People get killed or injured or replaced in a lot of the episodes, and the villains are faceless armies
...
of gun/sword fodder that die in one hit.
The artwork is typical of Ufotable, looks a lot like any fate show. I think the show's backgrounds don't vary enough though, and end up all looking the same. The sound is about average, although the cat thing's voice gets on my nerves. Songs and music are forgettable.
Enjoyment and overall go hand and hand. I wanted to like this show, but it is is just really, really boring. The enemies are uninteresting, the characters are uninteresting, the background is pretty but fairly uninteresting, the sound is uninteresting and the show as a whole is just uninteresting.
I can't honestly say I actually enjoy this show, and really would suggest skipping this unless you are a diehard Ufotable fan. Fate Apocorypta airing at the same time has similar artwork and has a MUCH better plot and cast of characters.

"Gonna be the twintails!" is a show created by otakus, for otakus, that makes fun of otakus.
From the get-go, it revolves around an invasion of otaku aliens from another planet who feed off the positive energy humans give through their love. Essentially they are a bunch of perverted losers who leech off of others and ruin people's lives, sound familiar?
Our heroes, a group of twintailed heroines must use their love of twintails to fuel their magical girl powers in order to defeat these monsters, thus saving the human race. Along the way, it's a hilarious journey with perverted humor, (Like gender bending, tentacles
...
and ecchi scenes) and then just about anything else that you will see in a typical high school comedy anime.
The aliens are COMPLETELY hilarious, the cast is great (Especially Twoearle), and pretty much everyone in the show is necessary, you don't have 50 different characters that are completely irrelevant popping up for 30 seconds just to fill screen time. The voice acting is solid, the theme song is catchy ("LES-CUE!"), and I have no real qualms about the sound. Likewise, the artwork is great and pretty typical of a modern show. (The boobs are exaggerated as hell on tail yellow for comedic effect)
My only qualm with this show was the fact that the story, like any magical girl show bar madoka, was the sheer predictability. While it was entertaining as hell, and did a great job of satirizing anime similar to something like gintama, like gintama the story is kind of lacking, since the point of the show isn't the plot.
While it may not be quite a masterpiece, it's an absolute blast to watch, and I highly recommend it if you're into this sort of show. Anyway, there's two types of people who rate this show poorly, people who either-
A: Don't like this kind of humor.
B: Just don't get the satire.
If you don't enjoy perverted jokes and constant porn references, like Sekotai Yakuindomo, this is not your show. This is a show created to mock the present state of anime, especially the magical girl genre, and it heavily exaggerates perverted scenes in order to make a point. Try not to take this show too seriously.

Fumoffu takes place immediately following season 1 of FMP, while FMP isn't exactly required, I'd recommend watching it to get the backstory of fumoffu, and honestly it was pretty good for a mecha so you'll probably enjoy it anyway.
Anyway, at its core, this was a slice of life comedy, it took all of the best moments from season 1 and created a spin off series based on it. It stars Chidori, a normal high school girl with a special background explained in season 1, and Sosuke, a highly trained military soldier who lacks any personality beyond his vast military background, who was assigned to protect
...
Chidori in season 1. The story basically explains what happens on a day to day level after season 1 wraps up, and it leaves you incredibly satisfied.
The characters are where this show really shines. While Chidori is kind of just a typical tsundere, being paired with Sosuke is a match made in heaven. He's completely dense and paranoid, treating almost anything as an act of war, and just straight up over-reacts to nearly everything. The two have an excellent chemistry that really plays out well, and they support each other throughout the show. The remainder of the cast is supporting, they aren't over-used and they even have pretty well-developed personalities too.
As others have said, the theme songs are not as good as season 1, but the sounds during the episodes were about the same. The "Fumoffu!" said by Benta during the episodes is hilarious regardless. The art is more or less identical to the original.
The sheer brilliance of this show is leagues above nearly every other comedy anime I've seen. There's an episode involving rugby that was easily the funniest episode of a TV show I've ever watched. You also see bioterrorism, raids by a group of giant stuffed animals, exploding lockers/classrooms, and nearly anything else you could imagine involving a military otaku and a school.
I think this is honestly one of the few shows that pretty much anyone can enjoy. It is mindless fun, while at the same time addressing real agencies and having some slightly deeper plots if you look hard enough. It easily earns a place near the top of my list, so definitely give it a shot if you want a good SOL, without all the loli and moe crap.

"Dick-jokes the anime", these were the words that got me interested in this show, and it I couldn't describe it any better. It starts off seeming like a typical romcam/harem, but Seitokai Yakuindomo has its own unique genre of humor that sets it apart from the norm.
As a show with constant references to dildos, cum, sex, incest, boobs, panties, dicks and literally everything dirty you can honestly think of, in a show about high school girls, you would think this would be ecchi, but it's not. It's a slice of life anime with some of the most creative and unique comedy I have ever
...
seen.
The story revolves around the typical harem lead male surrounded by beautiful girls (The school is 95% women), but the great thing about it is that each girl represents a porn category/fetish. Notable one's include incest, extreme fetishes, innocent/amateur, voyeur, midget, and milf, but the list goes on. They all have amazing personalities that compliment their "role" in the show's twisted sense of humor.
The writing is excellent, I find myself occasionally bored but more often than not I was laughing my ass off. The jokes are generally creative, and some scenes are almost impossible not to laugh. If you find immature humor funny, such as the type of stuff you might see in Gintama, this is a show made for you.
On the flip side, arguably this shows weakest point is its lack of story. It heavily reminds me of something like Kiss x Sis in that regard, it has some minor plot regarding entrance exams but for the most part every episode feels like an OVA, and the episodes themselves are so fragmented that it can sometimes be hard to follow.
In addition, as mentioned already there times where the humor does get a little stale, since it is basically sex jokes as far as the eye can see. Sometimes the humor feels forced and the jokes are word for word repeats of previous episodes. These are few and far between but keep this in mind.
Anyway, by now you should know whether or not you'll like it. Perverted humor is not for everyone, but if you enjoy it, this show has made a science out of it.

I recently re-watched Shinsekai Yori, and let me say, I gave it a 10/10 the first time I watched it. I could summarize the plot like many others have done, but honestly, it really doesn't do the show justice until you watch it.
It begins extremely slowly, and everything seems like filler, which makes it very easy to pass over. Around the middle of the show, a series of events happen that make you reconsider everything that happened thus far, and you realize all the seemingly random events are connected. From this point on, it gets darker and more and more mysterious.
Arguably the best
...
selling point is the fact that the ending is just so clean. Most animes nowadays leave gaping holes in the plot that require obsessive fans to explain, or they just don't ever really end, or feel like they did (Shounen shit is the epitome of this). Shinsekai Yori answers every question you dared to ask, and then blows your mind with things you hadn't even considered, like basic human constructs such as morality and humanity. The ending alone makes it worth watching.
Having re-watched it, I can honestly say it actually gets better, some how. You notice things you didn't the first time you watched it, and the detail to which they go to add these things is absolutely amazing, even small things like their classes just have so much symbolism, foreshadowing and detail.
In an era, of increasingly shitty anime, like SAO, Naruto, and the various harems and moe-blobs, Shinsekai Yori defies everything you expect out of an anime, and leaves you desperately wanting more like it.
