Clap.
While I generally agree that there are shitty hiveminds on MAL and reddit, I think the particular anime you mentioned (Imouto and Twintails) are not that disliked on /r/anime. On MAL though, I wholeheartedly agree.
Anyways great review. ^^
I found Toradora different at the time and I did enjoy it, but when I recall it I just think "wow what a dick move that was by _____" and thats about the end of it, I never look on reddit since I dislike a lot of the people who just piss around and troll too much taking it overboard considerably, it's turning into more of a 4chan base now which is just... unpleasant.
You'll never find another anime as touching and moving as Clannad, I can vouch that to the end of days. That will be the greatest Romance anime created for a long time to come.
I couldn't get into Gintama, the first episode I watched they want to be free life pirates or something? I don't even remember it too well, just that I disliked it from the get-go really, I find comedy hard to watch now, especially real TV series since I've seen so much it's hard to just watch a show and "laugh" unless it's utterly pitiful, then all you can do is laugh or you'll go insane.
I enjoyed watching HSotD but it did get old pretty fast; reminded me of Left for Dead to be honest.
I used to enjoy harems, but then again I used to enjoy watching anime altogether but since I've now watchd a lot, I know a lot of story/plots and it either ruins it or the anime productions aren't as good for the genre's I enjoy anymore.. Slam Dunk has been pretty good to me for 40 episodes so I hope that continues though.
I enjoyed ToraDora because of how unique it was to me at the time, but now that I look back it did seem pretty repetitive and trying to be something it wasn't, but non-the-less I did enjoy it when I watched it (I don't rewatch series because I find that may ruin it for me). I think Ryuji making her cry was just for that feeling to get across of how he felt towards Taiga and how it all worked out, it made sense at the time :P but it wasn't cool to her.
It's so hard to find good shows now though, I read reviews to see how they get on but so many people just make troll reviews and it kinda pisses me off when I want to look for something decent, even though my planned list is 100+ I just don't feel like watching any of it right now :/.
Not many people I speak to in real life know I watch anime except certain people from University and family, but I'm pretty open about it anyway but a lot don't like anime who I speak to :P.
I did like ToraDora though. Taiga was my favourite character for the tsundere act
I found they all wanted to be with him, and my own opinion is I didn't really like Asuna, I loved Silica and Pina (Girl with dragon)
I hated Girls Bravo, never got too far through My Bride is a Mermaid to be honest, my most hated Harem is Shuffle though, I hate every character which is very rare of any anime for me.

I've seen a lot of weird things in anime, heck, I've watched a lot to begin with so it doesn't bother me as much; it explains itself. Kiss x Sis is worse or along them lines.
as soon as the tentacle rape crap came out, I was just put off that arc, the girls or fanservice didn't bother me but tentacles creep me out beyond a level.
Log Horizon is only similar in genre, it's a completely different story which seems to have been orchestrated perfectly. (did try hard to not ruin it their!)
Yeah, my Uni work is just rediculous right now and I'm moving home, so I've had to cut down a lot on what I'm watching, even though I have been trying to get as much in so I don't fall behind on my airing eps.
What Movie?
It can't be incest if they're not blood-related, it was weird but if you lived with someone for a long time and suddenly lost them you feel all these 'weird' things appearing, then he comes back? I kinda understand her viewpoint although I found it creepy.
Hack was slow, the first was awful. Log Horizon is one of my favourite short running anime also.
Season 2 in the manga is awesome. Guns and swords? What more could a fanbase ask for? Maybe some good voice acting and unrushed episodes would also be nice, but the theme it has is nice.
~Sorry for the late reply.
