Haikyuu!! Season 3
The cherry on the cake. The top of the iceberg. The worthy ending of a spectecular show (for now). Haikyuu!! is a great show overall, with fluent animations - and even those are getting better from season to season and in the biggest moments even excel that, great and deep characters, a lot of hype and action and PURE enjoyment!
I don't want to go into too much detail into why this show is the greatest sports anime of them all so far, but there is actually nothing they do horribly wrong. Every other sports anime so far had some flaws somewhere, and if
...
it wasn't for anything really important, it were the animations (example Hajime no Ippo) which hold them back from being the best of all time. Haikyuu!! just does all this right and puts a lot of emotions into it aswell. On top of that, it has one of the best anime OST there is on this planet, and i really can't say this enough. The overall soundtracks got re-used a lot during the show, but everyone .. each of this soundtracks was and is amazing.
The First Season was the introduction, how i like to call it, to the show, characters and the sport. But also to the story telling and character development from this show. You started to like the characters, love the way it's told and the way the matches are presented. At the same time, all this was genuinely well done. 9/10 for the First Season.
The Second Season was the build up. It was the continuation of the rivalry told in Season 1 and it builded up the characters and hype even more. We had a great training proccess, not only in abilities but also character development and growth. We got a lot of new and nice characters and even more rivalries. 9,5/10 for the really unique Second Season.
The Third Season was the Final. The continuation of the Second Season, right where it left off. But not only that, it really brought up all the emotions and the character growth we got to see in some moments the two seasons before. This third season really shows, how the creators of this manga & show did a god damn amazing job at pacing this and yet having a lot of character depth, so you could feel for the characters. The ending of this season itself was just a perfect way to end it in a typical Haikyuu!! style and to fulfill all the satisfactions the fans had. 10/10 for the worthy Finale.
Overall, as i said earlier, there is very little Haikyuu!! does wrong, and the only reasons i can see for people to not like this show is the dislike against Sports anime or against the sport Volleyball. Any sports anime fan's heart will burn hot and melt at the end of this show. I really can't say enough, how amazing this anime is and i am so fking glad and proud of it being so high on the ratings. It REALLY deserves that! All Hail Haikyuu!! <3

Six short fanservice specials about the female Freezing characters. In each episode, they find another scenario and reasoning to show the characters nude.
I never saw Freezing completely. I dropped it early on, since i was sure, it wouldn't be for me. So i have no idea, how the characters really are, aside these specials. I liked some of the Freezing specials, however most of them (4 out of 6 for me) were pretty unoriginal and boring.
The comedy in this is quite average aswell. Sometimes it's actually funny, sometimes just plain boring and stupid. So if you want to watch these specials for comedy, then better
...
not do it. It's a waste of time. I can only "recommend" this to fans of the series and who want to see their female characters nude and in embarassing situations. Or for people, like me, who just want to see that, regardless of whether they saw the series or not, combined with a good art style.

--- This review holds a short introduction into the story and no real spoilers ---
A simple preview to the Be Blues Manga. It shows, how the MC got injured and made it back to his re-debut on the field. A pretty simple CM, that has decent animation & art and minimalistic sound & voice acting. I liked the flashback, where we got to know more about the MC and his path to where he is at now.
Nothing worth mentioning. I watched it, it made me feel interested in football anime again, and that's it. I didn't know, what Be Blues was, before this CM, so
...
it was successful in that regard aswell. And again, me writing this review took me way longer, than watching the actual "episode/anime".

My Home is a really lovly made short film by Tetsurou Kodama. The short film uses a musical piece made and sung by mayU and it was animated by echoes animation.
I just found this short film by accident in the MAL popularity rankings, looking for what would be at the very bottom of the ranking. And this short film turned out to be one of the lowest ones. For some reason i decided to just watch it, since i found a youtube link on their website and i said: "5 minute short film? Why not?!". Most short films are made with a lot of love,
...
since they are made mostly by amateurs and they try to give their best and their everything to define a story and a fitting video, whilst still having an inspirational story - if possible. In terms of animation and art, creators of short films tend to just use their own style, which i really like a lot. If you watch a short film made by a single or a few persons, you can really see their style.
Coming to how i liked it, i actually enjoyed the music. It kept me going and not dropping the short film halfway through. It also kept me interested onto the story and the characters, which by the way are really loveable. You can really feel for their pain and desires and you feel happy and sad for them, while they are going through their stuff.
The story evolves around 3 men, which gather randomly in front of a big sign called "Dream House". They all want to live in such a house, but clearly are too poor. Here the story kicks in, and where i will leave it, storywise.
The art & animation was OK. Nothing too spectacular. I'm quite sure it was made with CGI too. The way, the characters were presented and shown was by far the best in this short and what i really enjoyed in this 5 minutes.
A fun fact to end this review: It took me more time, to write this review, than watching the actual short film.

"Fantastic!" - Maze (Male)
This is, what i would like to say about this special episode, which was included in a box-set release of the anime Maze and is supposed to be a side story, also called Episode 26, in where the characters are shown in fashions, in what they couldn't be shown in the anime itself, because it ran on air and it wouldn't have been child friendly content. Sadly, it isn't that fantastic after all, but definitely not the worst of them all.
Let's start with what i found most interesting in this episode, the introduction of it. The characters were basically talking about this
...
being a special episode, since they were wondering how there is another episode, if the main story only has 25 episodes. And then they were kind of explaining, what this episode will contain. That said, afterwards they basically just found a random hot spring out of nowhere, where it said, that this hot spring may be cursed. They still end up in it and the "stuff" happens.
Overall a pretty funny fanservice episode, which obviously doesn't bring any new story to the anime. It's basically fanservice. The episode is really funny though, i have to admit that. Important to note, that i didn't watch the main story, the anime Maze itself. I wasn't familiar with the comedy of this show, so it caught me by surprise and i enjoyed it definitely.
Nothing spectacular though, so only 5/10. I recommend this for fans of the series, people who like old-ish fanservice (90's and 00's) and people who want a quick laugh and don't want to watch a whole series.

“You should enjoy the little detours. To the fullest. Because that's where you'll find the things more important than what you want.”
— Ging Freecss
Starting off this review with my favorite anime quote out there. Hunter x Hunter (2011) gained more popularity over the past years, for sure, but it's still not even close to popular enough in my eyes. I watched this show first at the end of 2014, practically some months after it finished airing and people were writing first complete reviews. Before that, i never really wanted to start watch HxH because of it's childish artstyle, which i mainly got from the cover
...
image. A HUGE mistake by me. I regret it to this day. But oh well. As mentioned, i first watched HxH 2011 at the end of 2014 and it actually lasted about 10 days until i finished it. I was SO hooked up into it, i couldn't stop. It was during my holidays and i just filled my whole schedule with HxH 2011, sleeping and eating. That was all. - /social contacts off. It was just the best experience i got from any anime to this day, and that by far. I don't even know where to start, this show is just amazing in any way.
Let's start with what the review's ratings start with: Story
It really is just another shounen-ganbatte story with a huge cast, AT FIRST GLANCE. Only the introduction arc alone was so freaking intense and interesting, that you had to go on with it. It all starts pretty childish and you keep thinking, that it might not be for you at all, because your thoughts were confirmed. But NO. It keeps delivering on and on and just changes your mind just as quickly as the first arc ends. And from there on, it's just insanely original. Many story arcs follow, with many loveable and badass anti-heroes, jesus mthfkn christ good art and animation and the most loveable main character cast there is. There is just nothing wrong here with Art, Sound and Characters. The Story really is pretty nice, but to sum it up: the base idea is just the same as in any other shounen-ganbatte. So i only give this a 9/10 instead of a 10/10. Basically the only critic point. But i don't even know how it would have gotten the 10/10. I LOVE typical shounen anime which are good made. And this is definitely made PERFECTLY.
As you can tell the Enjoyment of this show for me was over the top. I ate this show in 10 days like nothing. It was insane. I don't have this with many other shows, and defnitely not as much as i had it with HxH 2011. I rewatched the whole story with a friend of mine at the end of 2015, just to show her the greatness of what HxH 2011 is, and ever since she is in love with some two certain characters of the final arc. I think that every person, who gives this show a chance and doesn't truly hate shounen anime, will straight up love this anime. And i can't think of a possibility to give this a lower rating than 8. It's just plain not honest.
Finally, a liltte TL;DR and sum up for people who consider watching this but are not sure yet. If you like fights with real good animations, loveable and badass characters, a nice told and paced story, epic character development and on point soundtrack - give this show a shot and at least watch 20 episodes, before you consider dropping it.
Cheers ~

Fella Pure: Mitarashi-san Chi no Jijou The Animation, a one-episode hentai solely about soft core sex between siblings. Well, not really siblings, but we all know they actually are.
This title has an interesting character design and a surprisingly colorful artwork overall, even the backgrounds. It's kinda refreshing and i liked it, also the unique character design was pretty fine.
I usually tend to dislike hentai, where there is only one girl "used" in sex scenes, but this one was pretty decent even for that.
The sex itself was fine. Nothing spectacular, but it was fine. The nice art helps with that, so it was definitely enjoyable. It
...
wasn't something i would ever rewatch though, for that there are too many hentai with better and more interesting characters and way better sex scenes. Also the liquids here being overused in this piece are nothing for me.
Now, coming to the last point of this. Why i rated a 7 on Sound. It basically is 90% based on the ending of this hentai, which was quite fitting and relaxing and really enjoyable. I actually might listen to this a few times again.
I can recommend this people, who want a quick hentai for research purposes, with unique art and some fine ideas aswell as decent sex. Also to people, who like normal & oral sex. People who like hentais with story will be disappointed with Fella Pure.

This short little piece was made in 1964 and it really reminds you of the old Disney art style. So this brings a little nostalgia back. Even the singing part is something, which kind of reminds me of those old Disney shorts. I don't even know why. I guess it's just the whole atmosphere.
Oh well, onto the story. Cook no Polka tells a small story about a cook, who has a lot to do and is getting stressed out by it. At least that is, what my first impression was. It turns out to be wrong, and the cook just does such good food, that
...
he has a lot to do cause of that. He isn't really stressed out from it at all.
So, all in all, this piece just shows the daily life of a cook and his own restaurant, what work he has to do and what kind of food he makes. All of this underlined with a happy, childfriendly song really makes it logical, that this piece ran on the NHK TV channel. I'm guessing it was used as a short video/ad for childs, to show, what the occupation "cook" really is all about.
I watched it. That's it. Nothing, what you would need to watch, nothing spectacular. It's hard to rate those old short animations anyway, cause compared to today they are just simple, plain and bad.

For me this was a short little inspirational piece in form of a music video. It begins with the introduction of the girl, which already made me think about my own life. "What will I become from now on? - After some time, I stopped thinking about that - Maybe I forgot... <flashback> how to think at all". This little piece made me think of myself, having motivational problems and struggling to find my own little path in life. Just this little moment alone was enough for it to seem interesting to me. I wanted to see, what is all behind that question and this
...
girls past.
So what exactly is this piece?
A story is being told about a young girl, probably a pre-teen or teenager, which is struggling in life, and who doesn't find much, if any, motivation for things to do. Yet, she thinks she isn't lonely, based on the fact, that she clinges onto the only real thing she has: a tablet (yep..), being a present by someone from her past (yet to be known in this part of the video).
Now there comes the part, where the music begins. And I admit, at first I really liked the musical piece and I was encouraged to continue listening and watching. At this point, so far, the video made an excellent job as of keeping people interested in the music and also the story. At least the music part is something, which doesn't affect everyone, of course.
I personally, as soon as the voice started coming in, cringed a little. I just thought, that this type of animation and instrumental didn't fit with the voice at all. So this gave me a first punch down. It just felt as a nother boring pop song. Luckily, the voice part was kinda short and it turned back to the instrumental only, which was much more enjoyable for me.
As for the story part, and also characters, we start to see the girl exploring all kind of things with her tablet, with which she can create things (I guess?). So it's basically like she is in a big simulator world, where she can create and explore everything she wants. As soon as she had a flashback to the past, her happy mood was gone and she began to think about what may have happened. Following is basically the part, which tries to show how the girl is thinking and suffering at the same time, while not being able to remember anything from the past. She just continues to live her daily life as a sole purpose of living.
At some point there comes the plot twisting moment. She has a flashback of the past, which is shown as her being a ghost in the past and standing near by what happened. It was a nice way of presenting it while still maintaining the reactions of the girl. I like those kind of flashback scenarios instead of those boring ones, where you can see the reaction only afterwards.
Now we learned a lot lot more about the past of the girl and about the other male person, from who she got the tablet from. In my opinion it was shown in a overly happy mood, so that it seemed a little too surreal. It basically made the fate of the present girl's life seem more sad as it really was in the first place.
In the end there was a really nice connection between those two "worlds" and a nice way to come back to the point of the piece itself.
"Even if those memories make me sad, I've got to go forward, believing in the future. Even when I realize my loneliness and am about to lose all hope, those memories [of the people] make me stronger."
