...then you might like Sakamichi no Apollon add

Both chihayafuru and sakamichi no apollon are about people being passionate about something, and how their daily lives revolve around that passion. In chihayafuru its karuta, and in sakamichi no apollon, music. Both anime are set in different times but they emphasize the importance of friendship (even though there's some love triangles). Both anime have great animation and are based on josei manga. Highly recommend!!!

...then you might like Akatsuki no Yona add

Both heroines have considerable character development after they deal with the different situations life throws at them: Yona goes from being a rich crybaby to being the most badass heroine ever while Usagi goes from being clumsy and ignorant to being really cool. (personally I prefer akatsuki no yona because of the darker setting and lovable side characters, but if you like akatsuki no yona you might enjoy tsuki no shippo too :)

...then you might like Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. add

* Both are about a girl receiving divine powers and how they deal with all the consequences of receiving such powers. * Both have VERY cute romantic development. * Side characters are lovable and their stories make you root for them too. * Both are enjoyable reads (even though kamisama hajimemashita is longer)

* Both heroines have a strong character. Both are smart and hard-working. * Both manwhas are about romance,but Something about us is more fluffy while cheese in the trap is more psychological and serious. * Both are in a college setting.

* Both are by the same author * Both have a unique (and awesome) art style :) * Both are realistic : Salty studio in the way it shows the main character's frustration in trying to follow his dream of becoming an artist, while The stories of those around me is realistic in the way relationships work. * Overall, both somehow have a calming effect (the stories are slow-paced but enjoyable)

While both have very different plots, kare kano and Neo Genesis Evangelion are very similar in the psychological aspect, Both main characters have to deal a lot with their personal problems. Looking past all the action in NGE and all the comedy in Kare Kano, both anime have a deeper meaning.
