Toei One Piece is overhated.

The reason the new "adaptation" of the Fishman Island arc feels like it has stiff animation is because it's not a remake. It's just an edited version of the original anime with a filter. There are some scenes where they do add in new effects but it's basically the same animation but they cut out all of the panning, slideshow shots. They also cut out some canon manga content too lol.
