I originally dropped this anime about a year or 2 ago before I made a myanimelist profile , but then decided to give it another shot . Why ? Simply because of the fact ( at the time I ' m writing this ) the third season has the same rating as FMB , which technically means they ' re both rank #1 . 2 very different animes with the same rating . . I found that rather intriguing . . so I gave ... this anime a chance to redeem itself ( for whatever it did that made me drop it ) && to help me understand why the third season has such a high rating . I have absolutely no regrets , I don ' t even understand why I dropped this in the first place . I ' m kind of picky when it comes to romcoms animes , however this has to be the best or one of the best romcom animes I ' ve watched . . I find it rather refreshing to come across a romcom thats not completely cliché && boring . Personally , I ' m more of a fan of horror && action animes , but I do watch romance && comedy anime from time to time as a break from the usual genres I watch . Well , enough of that . . on with my review ! Do note all of this is just my personal opinion . . ~

♡ ∿ Story — 9/10
Although the story may not be about a fantasy world , or something of the like , which many would think is more interesting than a romcom , it was still an enjoyable experience . As a brief explanation of what the plot is , it ' s basically , Miyuki && Kaguya are in love however they refuse to confess their feelings to one another && so they manipulate eachother into confessing first . They use tactics that heavily rely on the other persons response , && the response both of them are trying to get out of eachother is a confession . The constant psychological battles of wits was enjoyable , all the different kind of mind games && tricks that they used against one another , && the effort that went into all of the attempts . . it was all very exciting to say the least . I will admit , at certain times this anime can be a bit cliché , however they use those situations && manage to escalate them to the point of hilarity . . basically they took common concepts && turned them into something unique , something that keeps the viewer watching .

♡ ∿ Art — 8/10
The art is simple , yet appealing to the eyes . . I can ' t imagine watching this anime with a different artstyle , it matches very well . . the expressions are well drawn aswell . I specifically like the style of the eyes , I can ' t quite say why . The first character I ever saw from this anime was Kaguya , which was basically my first impression of the art . I thought ( && still do ) the art was captivating && charming , especially the eyes , which was basically what made me watch it in the first place . All the covers are beautiful aswell ( look in the pictures section to see what I mean ) .

♡ ∿ Characters — 8/10
The character designs aren ' t anything too special , but they catch each characters personality perfectly && are memorable . I especially like Kaguyas , . a small detail I noticed in her design that happens on occasion is that her irises have a flame-like design , whilst everyone elses irises are normal . . I remember in one episode a flame turned into a heart I think ? . . I don ' t know what it could resemble , but I just found that interesting . Personality wise , everyone was interesting yet very different from one another . . basically , I found everyone likeable . . except Ishigami , hes kind of misogynistic , his dialogue was repetitive && the things he said in that * one * scene about Chika && Kaguya was just weird . . but other than that I did laugh at 1 or 2 things he said . Basically , my opinion is a bit more on the negative side . Chika ' s probably my second favorite , her " love detective " scenes were nice && she was just a really funny character in general , in a way I relate to her ! Miyuki is also pretty funny . . I love his relationship with Kaguya && I ' m excited to see more of it . Ai is very interesting && I wish we got to see more than just a few clips of her . .

♡ ∿ Enjoyment — 9/10
I absolutely loved this anime , it was unpredictable && funny . . it ' s refreshing to watch something different than usual && like it . The only thing I didn ' t like was the fanservice , but it wasn ' t bad enough for my score to be bumped down . . I kind of just ignored it . There was a balance of comedy && drama that kept me watching , it never bored me , I wanted to see even more . . && well , I ' m looking forward to watching the next seasons aswell .

♡ ∿ Overall — 9/10
I recommend you watch this if you like romcoms , or if you want to try something different than usual . . it ' s only 12 episodes long aswell , so you can pretty much finish it in one day . Of course , I can ' t say this is for everyone , as there isnt any anime thats for absolutely everyone . . some will like it , some won ' t , but either way I recommend it , especially if you like romcoms , this anime is a gem .

ʚ . . When the people change , so does the scenery . . ɞ

This manga was alright for a 5 chapter story , it didn ' t take too long to complete && had a somewhat interesting story . I wasn ' t expecting much && didn ' t know what to either since at the time I ' m writing this , there ' s no reviews . I also don ' t usually read mangas with only one genre since I like having a lot of information at hand , anyway ! On with my review . .

♡ ∿ Story — 5/10
An ... action manga about global climate changes occuring && a mysterious organization of people with superhuman abilities . . an interesting concept with potential but with a boring result . I felt there could ' ve been more done other than the main characters best friend being taken away (( as stated in the synopsis )) by some weird men , which are members of the Overworld && then (( spoilers , sort of )) fighting other members of the Overworld to get Yuri back . (( spoiler ended ! )) The main character being overpowered kind of ruined it for me too .

♡ ∿ Art — 6/10
The art was nothing special , it was cute just . . kinda basic . I feel like I ' ve seen it or something similar millions of times to the point it bores me . The character designs of mainly the main characters were also really bland && boring too . . they definitely could use some improvement in this area (( or well . . every area , but to attract someone atleast to this page , this area is definitely necessary )) to make it at least a bit more enjoyable .

♡ ∿ Characters — 5/10
The protagonist , Aoyama , has a nice personality but besides that . . she was quite poorly written to be honest . Coincidentally , (( spoilers )) she has powers as well && for some reason , she has (( or had )) no friends , which is a troupe I see a lot in anime which is really overused . Not to mention she ' s really overpowered despite the fact she had JUST unleashed her powers , she took down a very experienced . . I suppose fighter if that ' s the right word . (( spoiler ended ! ))

♡ ∿ Enjoyment — 6/10
Despite it being pretty short , it can be somewhat enjoyable at times . I didn ' t really find myself wanting to know what happens next but I can ' t say I got bored too quickly . It didn ' t give me any sort of emotion and I just couldn ' t care less about the characters too .

♡ ∿ Overall — 6/10
Do I recommend this ? No , not really . . it has a lot of flaws in every section && has a weird / bad ending . It ' s not . . horrible I guess ? It ' s mediocre I suppose . . it ' s not very interesting . I also don ' t think more chapters would fix it , they managed to fit a story ( not a very good one though ) in 5 chapters , && I can ' t see there being more than that .

ʚ . . And its namesake , his gorgeous daughter - Remina . . ɞ

A word to describe this manga would be odd , however I can ' t say it ' s bad . Honestly , it met a few of my expectations but not beyond or completely at the very least . It was fairly short , being able to read it in less than an hour which is what I liked about it . I like short manga , && for a manga with 6 chapters, it was pretty good . Before I start my actual review , do note that I ... won ' t be talking about the extra after chapter 6 as it ' s not related , except in the overall section as a recommendation .

♡ ∿ Story — 7/10
A horror manga about an Eldritch abomination , planet Remina . When I read the first chapter , I didn ' t know what to expect or what will happen && boy was I in for a ride . To be honest , I didn ' t read the entire synopsis so I wasn ' t too sure what I was getting myself into . It was made by Junji Ito so I had a bit of faith in this manga && it ' s story . It was really short so not much could be fit into 6 chapters , which some were spent , boringly enough , (( spoiler warning )) running away from a bunch of people trying to kill remina && the homeless guy she involved (( spoiler ended )) . I can ' t say I wasn ' t entertained at all though , I genuinely did like it but I wish there was more than (( spoiler warning )) " damn , big eye ball planet uh oh we are doomed ! let ' s try to kill remina for no reason , oops we died instead " (( spoiler ended )) , it ' s just kinda , meh .

♡ ∿ Art — 9/10
The art reminded me of Tomie , so I was attracted immediately to this manga && surprise (( not so )) surprise , it was made by Junji Ito . Can ' t say I ' m disappointed though . I liked that every character ' s design was different && you could easily tell them apart && also remember them easily . It ' s the main thing I look for in a manga - diversity . . as in making recognizable characters that won ' t make you mistake their name with someone who coincidentally looks just like them .

♡ ∿ Characters — 6/10
The only character that ' s actually pretty interesting is the homeless guy who helped Remina (( spoiler warning )) get away from an entire army of angry people ( spoiler ended ) . If I ' m being completely honest . Remina was just kind of annoying && the other characters were just . . annoying .

♡ ∿ Enjoyment — 8/10
It ' s really interesting && I wish it had more chapters , maybe a second manga to show us ( spoiler warning ) what they do for 1 year in space && if maybe they live on a different planet or something (( spoiler ending )) . Either way , it ' s good ! I wish there was maybe more horror aspects though . . like , more gore .

♡ ∿ Overall — 8/10
I recommend this if you ' re into lovecraft , it ' s very short so it won ' t take a while to finish it . The extra is also worth reading , it ' s really good && it had a great plot twist , I really liked it && I wish there was a manga specifically for that extra .

ʚ . . Let ' s all die together . . ɞ

If I were to choose a word to describe this manga , it would be disturbing , however it ' s incredibly interesting && it made me want to read more && more until the end . I wish there were more chapters , however it felt a lot with just the 6 chapters it already has . What made me read it ? Simply , the synopsis . I don ' t read many mangas that contain suicide , however this one caught my eye && I just *had* to read it . ... Before I start , I tried to keep this review as spoiler free as I could , any parts that have spoilers I added a warning just incase . On with the review . .

♡ ∿ Story — 10/10
I found myself intrigued to finding out what could and will happen with the story , && also to find out more about why the suicide circle / club exists . It was rather unrealistic (( understandably so , considering this is fiction )) , however it also had realistic aspects about it such as how they showcased the struggles girls (( especially teenage girls )) go through . The events that take place are rather bizarre , but that ' s the interesting thing about it . The plot is unique && since the topics were sort of new for me , I couldn ' t stop reading it since I was so captivated . It ' s incredibly deserving of a 10/10 for this section .

♡ ∿ Art — 9/10
The art stood out to me the most about this manga , specifically the cover art . It ' s the main reason I clicked on this manga to begin with . The colors in the cover popped out the most from all the other mangas in the horror section , which also made me more interested in reading this manga . I liked the varieties of different face structures in the actual manga , however a lot of the character designs never really stood out to me .

♡ ∿ Characters — 10/10
Great characters , Saya && Kyoko ' s friendship stood out to me and made me want to see more of them together . " How will their friendship end up being like ? " , " Will they die together ? " , " Will they live together ? " are a couple of questions I had . I had many more other questions about them while I was reading this manga , && yet I wasn ' t left disappointed with the outcome . ( spoiler warning ) Kyoko being the "chosen" one to become the next Mitsuko at the end made me realize . . a new Mitsuko gets chosen every mass suicide , it also actually made me think about it more . " What will happen with Kyoko as the new Mitsuko ? " , " What if someone else would ' ve survived instead of or with Kyoko ? " ( spoiler ended ) . Anyway , Kyoko && Saya were a great duo && had a great friendship .

♡ ∿ Enjoyment — 10/10
I *loved* this manga . It never failed to keep me entertained && it never made me lose interest in the characters or story . Nothing really fazes me , but some scenes did , which surprised me && made me enjoy it even more . I ' m glad to have had this experience and I ' m more than willing to read it again to further analyze it .

I *highly* recommend this if you ' re into gory mangas that contain sensitive topics , in this case suicide . It ' s a quick read && you can finish it in less than an hour it ' s great if you ' re busy but want to read manga . Do keep in mind before you get into this manga that there are quite a few NSFW scenes . .
