Both are simple anime where there isn't much of story to be told throughout the entire anime. They both have simple sketches in which they add humor in and usually every episode consist of multiple sketches. They both “something” in multiple scenarios. For example, Acchi Kocchi it’s Tsumiki crush on Io, and in Minami-ke it’s Makoto’s cross-dressing. And final (although most don’t consider this to be a reason to watch an anime) both anime have similar openings

There both based off visual novel games, with a simple dating-sim at its core. Both series seem to follow the "one direction character storyline" (forgive my bad naming senses) rather fast, in which you follow the route of one the girls. Besides from this both follow the regular school type genre (with some drama mixed in).

Both story revolve around a "normal" high school kid and his life along with his friend, where suddenly an alien girl/lady pops in. Even the personalities of the characters are kinda similar.

Both series have a harem concept in which one wants to kill the main character and one claims she is his fiancée. Both stories are at a school where magic is used and where a status is pointed out to your magic (combat) abilities

Both female main characters are similar in personality (and build: small, long hair etc.), surprise there both done by the same voice-overXD. Both series have great humor and show the romantic/drama feeling of the 'obliviously' couple really well

Both are mystery series, meaning you need to pay attention and fit all kinds a clues about events together. They both have a very creepy atmosphere during the night which enhances the feeling of being kept in the dark (I don't mean that literally). Both series manages to joke around despite the seriousness of the pretty intense storyline

Magic is used in battle in both series. Also each person/monster/demon has different kinds of magic so there's lots of variaty. In both series comedie is mixed in fillers or the battle themself
