I would give K a 6+ since its much different from the the animes that are rated 6 and though it doesn't live up to the higher standard it does few things better, but does a mediocre job as a whole. K is full of abstract settings, mysterious story, cocky shounen characters, good climax, nice art, but nothing the nothing to hold them together. Like maybe the character build up could have been emphasized or just story could've been more solid. But unfortunately its all abstract be art, story or sound. Its one of those animes that don't disappoint much because they don't promise ... much.

Guilty pleasure....Btoom!! does really well in all the departments. The characters are neither flowery nor unbelievably psychotic, they seem just apt for the story, their integrity holds all through. Some animes just take the character elements to extreme and exagerate, here it is justified. The Plot is simple, it brings elements of thriller, action, psychological and even ecchi elements together to form an exciting flow of events. One thing is definite though, its a spiced up version of Battle Royale meant for guilty pleasure.

I'll make one thing clear this series is not enjoyable. Its gross not man eating man gross but psychological, friends betraying each with having no restraint and thinking nothing much of it than that it is just too problematic to deal with. You might have seen stereotype bad guys in an anime who exist to make the good guys look better. They usually end up getting beaten or booed off and exist for the sole reason above mentioned. But here that bad guy is the main freaking character. Nobody wants to take a peek at that, everyone is just fine with being justice done. But ... these kind of things do happen in real.

This series packs a whole lot of ugliness and its bare to see. There is not much moral to take except for the one you make of it. The series bring out the shallowness and frailties of human nature. But I dont believe that its a proper commentary on humans itself. I dont believe that even the author should believe that. This just a concentrated concoction of such ugliness, if the author's sole aim was to bring out such frailness and concentrate it just for experiment, I would say It has done its job well but if he claims that that's how humans are then I would be inclined to give it a score of 3/10. It doesn't really do anything magnificently or does it really bad its just that one wonders whats the point bringing such obvious and obviously revolting topic to light.

I wouldn't call this a work of art even if it were just an experiment, its like source code of a program or an uncut diamond, unpolished and dirty looking. So if you want are looking an anime which is just a worst possibility case of human society then this is the one if not then this is the worst possible anime you'd want to see, it doesn't drive home any moral. And the most important thing, ending is the story, its the conclusion and is most important part of the story other than the beginning..

This anime is very well made and thoroughly enjoyable. It is unadulterated by fan services and cliches of this age anime, even a kiss is cleverly concealed. I guess for that age it was proper. Its not totally free from cliches but it doesn't heavily reply on them. It still remains enjoyable solely on story and characters and plots. the anime doesn't ask much from the viewers, it doesn't ask for us to keep our brains at a corner to enjoy it. Somehow without compromising on this the story hooks you on despite being a comedy.

The story revolves around a group of guys who have ... come together to on common pretext that they appreciate and are totally in love with a girl however there is a catch, the girl was actually a boy and was made into a girl because of an evil gene. This pretext is simple but almost every possible angle for an interesting story and plot emerging from it has been explored. And this is where the creativity of the author shines brightly and none of the 50 episodes bore you. I commend the genius in the author to create such a story where consistency of characters and fluency and continuation in story has been maintained so well. Its a perfect rom-com where comedy is as good as a pure comedy and has very interesting plots. Highly recommend to fans of comedy and rom-coms and people looking for good story and characters.

This series might have some solid stuff. The series is made intellectually pleasing but tries to keep other kind of folks interested too by the usual harem school club setup and it has worked decently though not brilliantly. The art doesn't help out much in favor of ma king it anymore attractive. The strong points of the series are I think, the characters and the dialogues. The first episode gives the air of an espionage thriller and political feel which has been heavily normalised for a high school setting and how the author uses this theme creatively is to be seen and I would like ... it to work out well since it seems very interesting and hoping it wont lose its momentum and become just another excuse for a harem. I can draw parallel to the series "Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon" which was just too brilliant in story and style. Considering the fact that there are a lot of double meanings and that it uses a serious topic such as election politics, censoring and that too the just mild ecchi contents is very irritating and counter intuitive.

The setup of this anime is not original one, it is of a high school prefect body taking care of the school issues which in here mostly involve odd requests from some students. How are they solved and more than that how wackily they are solved by an eccentric genius forms the plot of the story. The author has tried to marry wackiness and the usual theme of high school comedy, and I feel it hasn't worked out very fine in that regard. However I had fun just watching the possibilities pop up and surprise me though the surprise didn't always quiet meet up with ... my expectations. The story is very fast moving and the author doesn't wait for much story to build. The action and comedy starts pretty soon which works fine for this kind of setup though you are left with astonishment which you wont find hard to let go. What stands out in this anime is some original characters and setups and the comedy elements. In the end the anime is a mix up of whole lot of things which don't quiet added up that well but you'd love to stick to it for memorable characters and some things that you can find only in this series..

OK now why not create a series glorifying what people think are the worst kind of human beings there are on earth- The Arms Dealer. Is the anime successful in doing justice to the theme- absolutely not. It doesn't show the expected hear wrenching realities and emotional conflicts or brutalities of the profession but instead the author decides to take a very childish take on the matter which is make the arms dealer an eccentric, charismatic and mysterious person who is able to command respect from her subordinates who are some killers who have come from various walks of life. One of them actually is ... a child soldier who hates arms dealers because of the atrocities done to him but finds himself having fun with the person. I have to say that justice has e not been do the plot at all. But ignoring this part and assuming that nothing that good can be expected from this series you could have fun just watching the action in it and appreciate the plots too. The character of the child soldier is the most mysterious one and the most interesting to watch and thats the only part of the story that made it watchable.

Contains High kick of action. Korean mangas, the once i'm familiar with, Breaker and as an anime in Kurokami offer a completely different flow of story wherein they hope to do justice to the the theme of story as a whole rather than individual characters or plots. So dont be disappointed if the story hits a slump, the ending will be rewarding. The anime however offer good action in return but that too doesn't keep viewers interested enough because of lack in flow of the story, variety, and quality even. Initially It would feel like a story just made for some action where a bunch ... of people fight against each other with some mystery to all of it. The plot and characters have been handled in a very apathetic manner its just fights from beginning to end with good ending. Would recommend it to kill time.

Well It wasn't a time waste watching this series. At least it does what exactly is expected of it, and expectations were low. Mediocre story nothing different from how a hentai would treat a story. Ecchi is the foremost selling point of this series way over story, character, coherency od story etc. So obviously art and animation should be top notch. I guess that's the only commendable thing to look out in the series. I wonder what purpose ecchi ever serves, in most series use ecchi in a fashion that just irritate viewers, never understood why in every episode wind blows arbitrarily right under the ... skirts. So that would make wind the most important character. For any ecchi story the settings and story have to be such that ecchi fits right in, and HOTD ecchi could sit right in because the whole point of this series is to show how ecchi can it get with zombies taking over the world. So if you have that kinda fetish or are just curious about it i'd say this series is just for you.

Natsume Yuujinchou is a series that seeks to convey the diverse emotions of the imaginary world of the yokai and ayakashi and its connection with a high school student Natsume who happened to be lonesome dejected by the society because he is the only one who could see them.
The world of yokai is a place where there are various kinds of beings some malevolent and some mischievous , some bring good fortune and some are malicious, some who like humans and some are consumed by hatred towards humans. In every episode Natsume finds out how these beings that have lead him to be ... secretive are not as bad as they are depicted, and in the process can make you cry sometimes.
With a new story every episode I have yet to see any other anime where just 20 mins are effectively used to make the story so sublime and characters so tender that sometimes it makes you cry. Its a feeling which any solitary person would find very restful and comforting. And I think each one of us has that little bit of solitude that would connect with it joyfully. Thats what make this series so unique and genuine. I strongly recommend this for all and see it when you are in nice space of mind to appreciate is thoroughly.
