I have a rating system which I use to score the animes I watch from 1-10; a rating of 1 being essentially unwatchable whilst a rating of 10 being considerably peak fiction. I also further consider how high I think an anime rates inside of a given numeric score; e.g. a High 7 would be considered better than a Low 7.

My rating system:
1 = Atrocious - Something so god awful I wouldn't want to sit through a second of it ever again. I likely won't give many animes this rating.
2 = Horrible - Watchable at the least, however lacks so very much in any kind of substance that it becomes null of enjoyment, or rather the only enjoyment is just from how purely stupid it is.
3 = Poor - The show lacks most aspects that are required for me to find any kind of interest or enjoyment in it. Might consist of mediocre and/or uninteresting plotlines that, most of the time, showed no real purpose in the end.
4 = Mediocre - Something carrying the same qualities as a 3 rating but with some distinguishing features that save it from being scored lower. My overall opinion of it is still 'meh', with likely minimal enjoyment.
5 = Average - Shows that are dead in the middle when it comes to quality. I didn't think the show was horrible, or even bad, per se, it just didn't have enough redeeming qualities for me to score it higher.
6 = Good - Something that I enjoyed enough to say that "I liked it". This does not necessarily mean I was hooked from start to finish, it means I thought the show was decent enough for me to consider it above the median.
7 = Great - Shows that I overall found very solid. Something I likely found thorough enjoyment in and would definitely recommend to others.
8 = Amazing - A really awesome show, I fw this heavy. I was likely hooked the entire time.
9 = Marvellous - Phenomenal anime. An anime that I had to have had an additional attachment with to separate it from an 8 score, likely something emotional.
10 = Masterpiece - Peak cinema. The best of the best. A collection of animes of which I consider to be the best I've ever watched. An anime so spectacular it likely left a permanent mark in my heart. An anime I will never forget.
