Hunter x Hunter is legitimately one of the most dense and action-packed shows I've seen in my life. The roller coaster this show sends you on might turn you off at some point in between the middle and end of this long and complicated journey, but as things start to untangle and make sense, you see that Hunter x Hunter is truly remarkable.

The art style of Hunter x Hunter is very standard, but that only means it's very classic. I didn't vibe with the simple art style at first, but when you stick it out and realize HxH is pretty close to masterpiece territory, ... you see that the imagery and aesthetic is very appropriate. The action scenes are pretty epic and very shonen, which apparently, is right up my alley. The pacing is quite slow, but I find that good in a grand, epic anime such as this one.

Hunter x Hunter is simultaneously wholesome and stressful. It's not gimmicky, and it plays to its own strengths in a very impressive way. The final major arc didn't resonate with me at first, but with time, it elevated into something huge and serious. I am totally in love with Hunter x Hunter.

I'm so glad I gave Sakamoto Days a chance. This anime is very action packed, but it contains just as much wholesomeness as it does intense fights. It's a pretty standard anime, showcasing fights that don't break any barriers and being encased in art that isn't very new or innovative. However, the main attraction of this anime is the spirit, the soul, the character of it. Sakamoto Days might be full of fisticuffs and impressive reflexes, but it's a story about friends and family.

There isn't much to talk about, really. Sakamoto Days is magic for very simple reasons. It's an anime you can watch ... really quickly, as this season only contains 11 episodes, and apparently, more are coming out this year! Please watch this and share it with your friends because this is seriously an adorable and exciting watch!

Okay, I'm starting to see the appeal of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. At first, I thought this show was a little too nonsensical, but with time, I have learned that the over-the-top and excessive nature of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is exactly the direct appeal of this anime.

Each fight scene is exciting, hilarious, and leaves you on the edge of your seat. At first, you might think the show introduces too many characters and that you'll never remember them all, let alone catch their growth or development. Somehow, though, this season of anime bites off more than it can chew and manages to swallow it; it ... has ambitious goals but achieves them anyway.

The artwork isn't noticeably better than previous arcs, but somehow, it hits you harder this time around. The relationships between characters feels very meaningful, and you are extremely rooting for the main characters as this season progresses. I'd say this is an effective season of anime.

This is my first time watching Fairy Tail in any capacity, and I figure a spin-off series might not have been the best place to start. I didn't hate watching this anime; in fact, many moments had me hooked just for the fan service aspects. However, I have to be honest and say that this 25-episode-long season was kind of a drag to get through. It was a little boring, unrewarding, and hard to follow. Don't let the deter you, though; Fairy Tale: 100 Year Quest has its moments.

I have to be honest and say I am in the middle of watching about 12 ... anime all at once, and sometimes I'll take a break from certain anime for a while. That could possibly be a factor as to why I find the plot to Fairy Tale: 100 Year Quest quite convoluted, but I every other anime I returned to in this time managed to keep its continuity clear in my mind. I think it just might be the anime's fault.

Nothing about this anime is inherently bad. The animation style is fine, the action scenes are big and loud, and the lewd scenes are more than entertaining, but they aren't enough to keep this anime from being a little boring. Watch Fairy Tale: 100 Year Quest to pass the time, but don't invest too much thought into it. I may revisit this one day to see if a continuous and uninterrupted watch through of this anime would change my mind, but given that I'm already watching so much, I don't think that time will come soon.

Ranma ½ is an entertaining and adorable anime with a similar message and feeling to this year's Dandadan season. To my understanding, this anime is a remake of an older IP, but I am completely new to this realm.

I really like an anime like this that sets up the rules of the series, but it doesn't take too much brainpower to follow how it affects the dynamic of each character and the plot. This anime isn't amazing, but it's a cute watch for 2024.

The art style can be gorgeous at times. For the most part, it's pretty standard, but there are moments where this ... show can really shine.

This anime was quite addictive. Dandadan contains the exact same kind of magic that was embedded in One Punch Man and Mob Psycho. If you're a fan of either of that two anime, Dandadan is an absolutely a must-watch.

The animation style is unreal. It's very heavy and explosive, always having something eye-catching to amaze you every step of the way. The story is cute and whimsical, which is a cute contrast with how serious and deep the stakes can get.

The season ends in such a way that it's obvious a second season will come. I'm excited for that. Dandadan is easily one of ... the best anime of the year and is absolutely worth your time.

Pretty good anime movie, but I can imagine this not sitting right with some viewers. Half of this movie is one long recap for the first season of the show, and the other half is the first two episodes of the upcoming season. People did not like it at all when the producers of Solo Leveling spent one week giving viewers a recap instead of a new episode. Personally, I didn't care about that, but I admit that I was falling asleep during the recap. The new stuff was cool enough to keep my attention the entire time.

In general, I find this to be ... pretty good. I like it for several reasons, but the most important one is that I think this is the perfect way to get a friend into the series, as they can get caught up right away and then get right into the next, new adventure.

The animation style is crazy awesome, and even though I was falling asleep during that first half, I think I still retained most of the story, which would normally be a testament to how good the storytelling is despite the language barrier if it weren't for the fact I had seen season 1 already. I think Solo Leveling is good anime. Do watch this.

A great movie that fans will really like. I think bystanders or friends who tag along with their MHA besties will probably not really get it, but I think they can still enjoy it if they are keen to anime.

The action is so intense and prominent throughout this entire movie that if you have to get up to go pee, you will probably miss out on a key detail. The plot is basically a side quest and not that important to the main story of MHA, but it's a fun watch and stays true to what makes MHA so great.

It seems like a big ... budget was placed into the animation, as we get some really big and explosive moments full of color and vibrancy that is there in the show, but probably not to this degree, at least, not as frequently. That alone makes this movie worth a watch.

This is one of the best seasons of anime I have ever seen in my life. Look, I can kind of understand what MHA haters are getting at sometimes, but I think this season certainly should shut them up, or at least discredit them. There is essentially no filler in this season. No class sessions, no side quests, nor any recap episodes are to be seen here; it's just pure shonen anime.

Every episode is insanely intense, making me crave for more every single week. I love how perfectly this season ends, setting up the final season absolutely stunningly. Rarely do we get to see ... such a powerful anime where every episode feels essential and everything we've gone through as a viewer comes full circle here. Characters we fell in love with for just a short arc will make a return in this season, as everyone in the entire series gets to shine in this season.

Without question, this is fantastic anime. This is a must watch in general, but MHA fans have no excuse to skip one of the best seasons of anime ever created. One of the best showings of 2024 for sure.

One of the best films I've ever seen, so obviously, the same applies when the conversation is about anime. Obviously, with time and technological advancements, anime gets better in general, but I think the animation style of Perfect Blue holds up by today's standards. It looks a tad vintage compared to what we have today, but it still looks sleek and sexy. It feels like you're watching an anime... until it feels like you're watching a very suspenseful horror/thriller film.

Everything about this movie is really good, but I think it's the cinematic elements of this "anime" that make it so great. The way certain ... scenes trick the viewer into thinking certain occurrences are real is beautiful to behold. I like how this movie takes classic horror tropes, but slightly tweaks them, keeping you curious and glued to the screen.

This anime is a must watch. It's a very strong and powerful watch, and it isn't too long. It's very unique, and it should immediately implant itself into the deepest corners of your heart. Please watch this!
