A tribute to the world building.
So, it's a story of a young boy who wants to read books and work in library that has monopoly over the text.
On reading synopsis, it looks like a simple story about achieving your dreams and some sort, well it indeed is that type of story if you look on surface level, but when you read it and go deep in the manga it can be seen how much effort the author has put in creating this fantasy world, author's love for books and how important is to protect the text for a civilization to grow.
The first

aspect which impressed me the most in this manga is its detailed focus on the world, its people, their culture and history. The way the story focuses on the problems occurring around our main character, such as discrimination caused by the coexistence of different races of humans and provides solutions to these problems is something I consider a part of world building itself, this manga excels in that part. The manga also has a little information about some monuments, places, culture of the world on each chapter which made the world even more deep.
The story is mostly a character driven and all of the characters are really well written. It involves great deal of dialogues, but it never felt boring. Like so far, I haven’t been overwhelmed by the amount of text in the manga because it always makes me invested in the context it was written. The plot focused entirely around the books, and by "books" I mean the written texts, as a book can be anything as long as there is text written on it. The entire theme of books and importance of the written text is the core theme of the story
The art and paneling are amazing and main character isn’t just some crazy overpowered guy, he seems like a very genuine character to me who just wants to reads books and be a librarian guy(in simple language).
So, I'm gonna end my review here and give rating to every aspect of this series.
Art - 10/10(Simply one of the best art work I've seen in this medium)
World Building - 10/10
Story - 9/10
Character - 9.5
