A very short story of a high school girl falling in love with a manager from the shop she started working in. If you have read shoujo mangas before then you know that this is not an original idea at all. Age gap romances have been explored in a lot of mangas. However this manga is a very fun short read and it has pretty nice art so I would overall recommend it when you want to read something short and cute.

I am writing this review so you have a different opinion on this manga since the only other review rated it a masterpiece which was honestly a complete shock to me, but well tastes are different I guess.
If you are looking for a quick read that doesn't require using your brain at all and feel like reading a manga with really pretty art then I suggest you give this manga a try. triggered by stupid fml because this one was one of the worst I've seen in shoujo manga and I've read a decent amount of shoujo let me tell you.
Story 3/10 (and I am being generous here)
I mean yeah it is only 11 chapters long, however that is not enough of an excuse for the amount of nonsense this story had. (I have read one shots which were 10 times better so yeah) The plot was really bad, with the male lead trying to get revenge or whatever and using the stupid female lead in the process. Firstly, there was no reason for the fml to act as dumb as she did. Secondly, our ml had such a grudge that he planned his revenge and then forgot all about it in, what felt like seconds. Really makes no sense. Lastly, the romance part was awfully rushed and it just lacked substance overall. Again made little to no sense. One more thing I need to mention is the fact that ending was really bad, as it had a lot of loose ends.

I already said in the story section that the female lead was beyond dumb the whole story. The ml was not better tbh. I will not even mention the blandness of side characters. I mean if the main ones were awful then side ones were practically nonexistent. Complete lack of character depth and development. I just finished this manga and I can't tell you what are the characteristics of the main characters and that should be saying something.

So I just wasted around 12 minutes of my life watching this, so I thought I should write a review in hopes I would save some poor souls from this whatever this is.
Story 0/10
There is no story. It's just completely random conversations between the only 2 characters in this show. If you lose a bet and are forced to watch this, I suggest getting drunk cus then there is a possibility you would at least smirk at some scene. Cus I sure did not.

The sound was irritating me a lot. I guess it was there to make the scenes funny? To make a better atmosphere? I do not know. The VAs... the VAs... oh man. By episode 3 I already wanted to kill myself cus of that forced laughter that is present EVERY SINGLE EPISODE WHEN LITERALLY NOTHING IS FUNNY.

One would think that if we already have a short animation of 12 eps each 1min, it would not make sense to tell a story, so we would focus the characters, after all they are the only point of this animation, right? Well no. Of course not. All we know about the characters is that one is a cat girl with cat ears and one is a demon girl with horns and even that is not explained.

The last second of the last episode was such an enjoyment, cus I knew I had no more left and I could now forget I ever wasted 12 precious minutes watching this.

Anime with only 4 minutes per episode? Meh, that must be pretty bad, since it has no time to hook you up, right? These were my thoughts when I saw Miss Monochrome. Little did I know, I was about to find out I was gravely mistaken. Again, never judge a book by it's cover.
This anime can be descried in one word: wholesome.

the show is always on the dancing and singing and the key point should always be one dimensional pretty boys or pretty girls having fun. I don't say there is anything wrong with that but I personally find it generic and boring.There are a lot of 12 or 13 episode anime I watched which have the normal time per episode (~24 mins per ep) , anime that had a lot of time to build up a world, a plot and character development and failed to do that. What is amazing about Miss Monochrome is that it succeeded in setting up a plot and a few characters in a format of only 4 minutes per episode. We even have a backstory of the show, which, to be completely honest, blew my mind. This is a really cute and somehow wholesome comedy/slice of life anime that will leave a smile on your face and make you at least giggle, if not laugh, at some scenes.

Art was pretty. Again for a short anime, I could see the artists did not slack on either backgrounds nor character designs. While it was not breathtaking or anything, I found it pleasing to the eye.

There is only one song and it is pretty catchy and nice, I really liked it.

Characters are all very fun and have their own personalities which is again, amazing to do with only 4 minutes per episode. I know I keep saying 4 minutes per episode, but it really is amazing to do anything in that short amount of time. I loved all the characters and they were really fun to watch :)

I really enjoyed this short show. For anyone wondering if they should watch it, I recommend anyone who likes comedy and slice of life to give it a try, it is really short so if you watch an episode or 2, it will only take you like 10 minutes. I really hope this anime will be watched by more people and be noticed more in the future, it really deserves it.

No reviews on this one yet, so I thought I would write a short one.
This is a short romance story. Nothing more nothing less. If you are looking for some cuteness then I recommend giving this one a read. It is worth at least giving a try considering it only has 4 chapters.

The art is just not my cup of tea ? So the 1 I gave it is completely subjective, tho objectively speaking, this kind of art would do good in some horror or smth.

The 'introduction' music we got was ok, hence the 2. However, the sound throughout these 57 seconds was overall too loud and mixed with our character swearing and shouting it was a pain to listen to (oops spoiled the whole plot here)

A short review for all them lazy fellows like me ;D
First things first, this is one of the rare shows I personally had high expectations for, simply because the theme is different then most of school setting sol dramas. Or so I thought.
One note, if you are of the people who can't watch some disturbing pedophilia moments as well as sex jokes, then there is no point in reading this review, exit it right away and find yourself something else to watch. be good influence for someone , let's say 13-14 years old, to watch some parts of this show.
Story 5/10
The premise was good, the whole point of trying to show how teenagers cope with their sexuality when they first come in contact with it is really a great idea. The problem is that while this show started off very boldly it turned into yet another amazingly boring school story very fast. That by itself wouldn't be a problem for a viewer such as myself (considering I love them nicely done school slice of life stories) but this show's selling point was, as I said, teenagers trying to cope with their sexuality. And the selling point was done seriously bad. For that matter even the slice of life part was done badly. What I want to say by this is that a good slice of life show needs convincing plot to make a statement of any kind. This show was far from having that and instead it pushed the statements it wanted with some ridiculously convinient situation. It's such a shame, considering this show really had potential. The score it got is solely because I had a few laughs, which is sad.

The sole thing that was good in this is the music. I loved both the op and the ed, as well as the music throughout the show.

And here we have the main problem. This show tried to be as realistic as possible but with characters it had I have no idea what they even tried to do. We have a 'good' girl , a 'nerdy' girl, a 'kinda talented' writer girl, a 'friendly, shy' girl and a 'I'm above you all' girl. Sounds familiar? Seems like you saw this kind of setting? Ye. They are all generic and above all boring characters. Not a single one of them has something which would make you remember them. I will not even go into the pedophilia (there are 2 pedophiles, TWO) that is talked about more times then it should have been.

To be honest,I liked the beginning of the story, the first let's say 2-3 episodes. I liked some of the comedy. That's all. Sadly.

This is the highest score this show should get, in my opinion. Boring generic characters, story full of convinient situations, pedophilia... should I go on? The 6 it got is for the music and some of the jokes, rest it just so mediocre it's sad.
For a premise and theme it picked up, this anime is a huge disappointment.

I had to write a review for Marmalade boy since I was shocked to see this many good rates of this anime. But well, tastes are different. In any case, I'm writing this review so that you guys can have another opinion on it.
Story 5/10
Marmalade boy or better known as LOVE TRIANGLES ALL AROUND WITH A LOT OF ANNOYING CHARACTERS AND NO PROGRESS FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIMES.

situation is so annoying and over the top I couldn't even focus on the story that really had so much potential. Sadly, she is not the only annoying character, basically all characters which are in the center of the story are annoying, the only exception being Yuu, whom I really liked, since he had NORMAL human traits. Seems like in this anime, apart from Yuu, everyone has the exact same traits - selfish, stupid, drama queens, immature. Now then, I really tried to focus on the story but I could not cause the characters were so bad, they made it impossible and unbearable for me to watch. I rarely drop anime, you can check my list, but this one, I just couldn't bear, so I dropped it after 14 episodes. Now make no mistake, the story became so predictable I can tell you what will happen right to the end.

I saw older animes and I liked their arts, but this one's art was repulsive most of the time. Characters were drawn mediocre too.

Enjoyment? What is that? I did not enjoy this anime except in the first minutes of episode one, which is why I decided to give it a chance. After episode 1 I enjoyed nothing and it was a torture to watch it to episode 14.

I do not recommend this anime to anyone, except maybe shoujo fans who love drama and love triangles with stupid damsel in distress leading the story.
Make no mistake, I love shoujo anime, but this anime is an insult to anyone who likes to watch anime THAT HAVE GOOD STORY AND GOOD CHARACTERS YOU CAN CONNECT WITH.

Deep Clear is a cross-over manga that has the main characters of Kodomo no Omocha in them, Kurata Sana and Hayama Akito.
Story 8/10
It is really short, so I couldn't give it a higher rate even if I wanted to. Anyway the story is basically a conclusion to Kodomo no Omocha and Akito and Sana's relationship. If I say anymore, I'll spoil it, soo please read it. xD

There are 'new characters' in this manga, as I understood they are from a different manga, but if you only plan to read this manga, these characters are shallow and have no depth whatsoever. That is understandable as this manga is really short and it was meant to be a conclusion to Kodomo no Omocha.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT JUDGE THIS SHOW BASED ON IT'S ARTWORK. The art makes this anime look like it is another shoujo with real cutesy and fun characters and plot. I assure you, that is not the case. In fact, this anime is all but that. I have judged this anime before even giving it a try and I'm so sad I haven't seen it earlier. Now, that been said, I can review it.

great is the fact that this show deals with some serious life problems and relationships between various people, be it family members, love interests or friends. It is also a show that portrays growing up exactly the way it is. The comedy is good, the drama is amazing. To be honest there are some ups and downs in the story, meaning I would have loved if the story progressed faster at some points ( the newyork arc for example ) , but I had no problems with it progressing the way it did. There is a lot you can learn from this show if you are younger and there is a lot of feelings and life lessons you can be reminded of if you are a little bit older.

Well it is an older anime and I always think older animes could've had better animation, but it is far from bad. I actually found the animation very fitting for this story and I liked it, hence 8/10.

Openings and endings were ok, exept for that one ending which was very inappropriate, since it begins with 'everything's ok' when nothing's ok xD but apart from that, everything was fine. As far as the voice actors are concerned, all fit very well, exept for the lead's, Sana's, voice actor - I do understand that Sana needs a high pitched voice actor, considering her personality and all, but the voice actor that did her voice was, to be honest, really annoying and I couldn't get used to her voice at all. But that's my personal opinion.

Man, I could go on and on about the characters in this show, they are all amazing. I'll be brave enough to say that the characters are what makes this show, more then the story. You have all the possible characters you'd imagine in this show, from miserable human beings to super strong people who deal with all that's come their way. Characters in this show are amazing and I've come to like almost all of them :)

I have loved this show from the start to the end. Such a beautiful show that deals with human relationships in such a manner.
