As Captain Obvious would say, this title is heavy on tentacle sex. Now I can’t say I enjoy that fetish. I decided to watch it only because of the nice cover art… and I must say I’ve been agreeably surprised.

Based on the eroge of the same name by Lilith-Soft and produced by Pixy (Taimanin Asagi, Kangoku Senkan), Tentacle and Witches offers 4 episodes of steamy, consensual and enjoyable tentacle sex. Tentacles without rape or violence! I can hardly believe it! (until episode 3, that is)

STORY: 6/10
Ichiro, your typical male high school student, fantasizes about his ... teacher Yuko who really is a witch. He is punished by the witch’s pupil, Lily, for peeping on her rituals and is turned into a tentacle monster. Tentacle and Witches then proves worthy of its title by having numerous sex scenes starring tentacle boy and his girls.

The non sex scenes still feature a lot of ecchi paired with comedy, which is reminiscent of typical fan service content in non Hentai titles. Most of the jokes are déjà vu: flamboyant characters act up and throw hate at each other. Only a few of the more original moments made me chuckle.

Whenever the plot seems to stagnate it picks up again shortly after and is just interesting enough to add some value to the overall viewing experience. The love triangle relationship evolves as the story moves forward and I would have preferred if the story focused on that. At mid point, a new witch is introduced and an evildoer appears to stir up trouble, but this new main plot feels like poor filler.

ART: 7/10
I know for sure that the cover art for this title (and others such as Dark Knight Ingrid) was done by Mayu Furuse. What I noticed is that the art’s quality is uneven.

While the characters look fine and the animation is okay, the style is quite peculiar. The female characters have a tiny waist, long and thin legs and facial traits closer to super deformed than to realism at times. Some frames show a lack of detail and consistency in the depiction of body parts, and there are a few shots in which the female characters look sketchy. Yet there are other shots in which the girls are very attractive.

Overall I have mixed feelings about the art style, but I cannot deny that the characters and animations do look nice most of the time.

SOUND: 7/10
The girls moan quite a lot during H scenes but their voices weren’t annoying. Lily’s voice actress does a particularly good job of conveying the character’s emotions. There are 2 or 3 little flaws: Yuko has one scene in which she speaks fluently despite having her mouth full and Lily has at least one in which the lines don’t match her lips’ movements.

It’s hard for me to assess the tentacles’ sound effects, but I’d say they get along nicely with the images and aren’t out of synch or anything.
The soundtrack is subtle and has a nice retro vibe, but isn’t really memorable.

CHARACTER: 6/10
Yuko is the older witch with a caring demeanor. She has long dark hair, dark green eyes, huge breasts (I’d say J cup), a massive butt and thighs yet still has a slender, healthy shape. She wears pink lipstick and her exaggerated feminine figure should look very sexy to milf lovers.

Lily is the tanned, tsundere classmate who also turns out to be a witch. Despite her pesky nature she can be cute and shy at times, which makes her all the more attractive. She has blonde hair and side tails, dark green/turquoise eyes, a slender body and small A cup breasts yet her butt and thighs are generous for her size. On top of being the narrator, Lily gets more screen time than the other two girls and her love-hate relationship with Ichiro is one of the most important and memorable sub plots. She ultimately wins in cuteness, lewdness and heartwarming moments.

Kaya is the third witch who is introduced later on. She is tall and slim but has huge boobs (a tad smaller than Yuko’s). She wears lipstick, her long pink hair tied in a ponytail and she comes to help an illstruck Yuko by trying to kill Ichiro. Her aggressive behavior harms her sex appeal, but she’s still attractive and softens up in the last episode.

Unfortunately, Yuko and Kaya don’t get nearly as much exposure and character development as Lily, and therefore felt rather bland in the end. I think that if the story focused on Yuko and Lily’s search for a cure for Ichiro’s condition instead of introducing a new main plot and two new characters at mid point, Yuko could have had proper development and I would have given this category more than 6/10.

ENJOYMENT: 7/10
Most sex scenes involving the tentacles are consensual and pleasurable for the female characters even though some of the squeezing and pulling acts may look painful and the girls are sometimes afraid. They are usually held tight, their body doesn’t move in the frame, only their curves and the tentacles twitch and move around. The tentacles come in various sizes, colors and shapes.

The amount of censorship is average to heavy but only slightly impairs enjoyment. Internal views show some texture and internal organs but are far from Kindan no Byoutou’s level. All three witches are virgins.

Throughout the 4 episodes you’ll see a lot of different settings for the H scenes: in a cabin in the woods, at the school during class time, waking up in bed in the morning, at the pool, in a gloomy stone basement, and a harem ending.
There’s even a scene involving invisibility. Censored invisibility. Go figure.

Episode 1 drew me in and features two H scenes of similar tentacle content.
Episode 2 has a lot of story progression, more sex scenes and sexier poses.
Episode 3 features non consensual sex and seemingly painful acts, yet the girls still climax like crazy. This episode takes a darker and more action-oriented turn but at this point in the series it feels out of place and less interesting.
Episode 4 features the conclusion of the enemy-related plot, which is boring, but the H scenes are satisfying. The harem ending has horny Ichiro do whatever he pleases to three beautiful women, but it lacks the emotional depth of earlier human-on-human scenes. Post credit scenes show a preview of the following episodes and there is an extra ending scene after the last episode’s credits roll.

In this particular scene, it happens in a charming, pleasurable context with just the right amount of kinkiness to spice it up, and it made me look forward to the following episodes.

OVERALL: 8/10
Tentacle and Witches earns a well-deserved 7 and gets a bonus point for originality and variety in the settings and H scenes. I was expecting a clichéd tentacle title, with lots of rape and painful sex, and was agreeably surprised that was not the case. I wouldn’t go so far as to say this title converted me to tentacle hentai, but it is one in which I can enjoy that fetish. Maybe those of you who prefer brutal tentacle rape might not enjoy this title as much, but I wouldn’t know.

In any case, since Tentacle and Witches seems to offer a unique take on the tentacle genre and also features human-on-human sex scenes, I’d recommend all hentai viewers at least watch the first episode. I particularly enjoyed how Ichiro and Lily’s relationship played out as well. It had several adorable, love and lust-filled moments.

Final words: Is that Norfair’s theme playing?

Produced by the prominent studio Milky, Dark Tours is a 30 minute OAV that falls under the Hentai and Horror genres, but is barely average as the former and disappoints as the latter.

STORY: 5/10
The story follows Rina (also called Annaka), a young tour guide who leads a small group of tourists to a secluded forest village that is said to be haunted by the vengeful ghost of Tamiko, a woman who was sold to a bunch of men to cover debts and who suffered a horrible fate. As far as romance goes, there are a ... few hints of the birth of a possible relationship between Rina and a nice guy tourist, but that sub plot goes nowhere and is brushed aside at the end.

The first plot twist happens at around 23 minutes and the second at 27. There really is little content that falls under the Horror category, save for a brutal turn of events at the end. You’ll most definitely be disappointed if you’re looking for a good scary story and no explanation is given at the end for what happens, but the fair quality of the H scenes can still make the movie enjoyable for us pervs.

ART: 5/10
The art style features heavy hairdos and tries to depict the characters in a fairly realistic manner, which is somewhat reminiscent of the 1980s’ typical style. There are up to 3 shades per color and the art is at its best during the H scenes, but overall it feels average for a 2004 release.

Animation quality is sometimes jerky but otherwise looks fine. Some of the breast jiggling is actually pretty fluid and erotic. The voice actors often have a hard time matching their lines with the characters’ lips movements, but you can blame the lazy animators for this.

SOUND: 6/10
For once, the English dub sounds a lot better than the Japanese one. The English voice actors and actresses sound more professional and better fit the characters’ moods and facial expressions. Moans during H scenes are fine, show a hint of pleasure and are not annoying at all.

The soundtrack is noticeable yet unimpressive. Most tracks are slow and simple and gently add to the scenes’ mood but at times use instruments that don’t fit the setting at all (smooth sax during a gang rape? I don’t think so). Sex sound effects are also exaggerated and unrealistic at several moments: fingering a lady even sounds like the breaking of bones in one of the scenes.

CHARACTER: 5/10
Tamiko the ghost looks like a regular woman. She has a pretty face and haircut, a slender body, small B-cup breasts and wears a nice red yukata with a white flower pattern. Her beauty makes her a treat to look at.

Rina, the tour guide, has long, heavy brown hair and changes hairstyle at one point. She is not the prettiest of all the female characters, but she has a healthy shape, long legs and a fine D-cup bosom. Despite being the main character she doesn’t do much for a majority of the movie.

The other tourist girls look more or less similar to the above two while the male characters who take part in H scenes are all rather tall and fairly muscular jerks.

ENJOYMENT: 6/10
The first sex scene involving Tamiko is part of the legend and therefore fits in just well, but some of the other scenes involving the tourists serve no purpose or only qualify as ecchi. Despite sex playing a role in the awakening of Tamiko’s ghost, these scenes merely happen because some of the tourists are horny rapists and nymphos, or because the studio felt they had to include them to qualify as an H title.

There is no censorship, but the female genitals are rarely shown. They are still fairly detailed in close up shots. Genitals are often covered in lube or saliva, which adds a bit of eroticism to the scenes.

Dark Tours ultimately fails at conveying a spooky, let alone interesting, horror story. The regular scenes are outshined in art and animation quality by the H scenes. Those were actually fairly enjoyable to me thanks to the beauty of the female characters, even though I’m not particularly fond of insipid rape scenes. Overall I’d say this title isn’t really worth watching as nothing will impress you about it and you might even be disappointed by the poorly-exploited horror theme. However I’ve seen much worse.

Out of all the low budget hentai titles out there, City of Sin is what you’d call a hidden gem. Its narrative, unconventional for an H title, and the great quality of its soundtrack make it an interesting, underappreciated title.

STORY: 7/10
City of Sin depicts the harsh reality of a medieval era kingdom overthrown by an army of brutal, immoral men. This theme is suitable for a more mature audience and a certain amount of emotional detachment might be needed to fully appreciate it. Be warned that all of the women in this movie are treated ... cruelly and raped. This dark content, however, artfully illustrates the theme, and never does the violence feel gratuitous or presented merely for shock value. The story also features a few mild twists throughout the movie and never was I bored with the events presented.

The first scene, a shot of the evil king’s castle under a stormy sky, immediately draws you in and sets the tone. The story follows Princess Beatrice as she is forced to marry a neighboring king to stop the war. The immoral, intimidating, fat king, whose ultimate goal is to generate an army of strong soldiers, orders his men to rape every woman in the kingdom for procreation, because being without child in his country is against the law. There is a good amount of dark humor in the dialogs and scenes although some of us might believe it clashes with the brutal nature of the plot. I felt that the story progressed a little too fast and that character development wasn’t given proper time, but this ultimately added to the feeling of urgency and danger Princess Beatrice must have went through trying to adapt to her new reality.

ART: 5/10
City of Sin’s biggest flaw is its unbalanced quality.

For a 2001 release, character art is below average and feels sketchy, yet the shading is at times fairly good and the uncensored, although not entirely realistic genitals are drawn with more detail than many other H titles. Background art is sometimes quite detailed and shows realistic textures, and sometimes much simpler and forgettable.

The animation quality is rich, featuring different facial expressions and movements, but the amount and fluidity of the frames in motion is only average.

SOUND: 8/10
One of the most remarkable features of City of Sin is its soundtrack, which is definitely among the best ones I’ve heard in a hentai title. The very first short theme you hear sounds like it came out of a Batman flick, ominous brass setting the mood. Fanfares and powerful sound effects are heard during key moments, a few ambient, vocal themes nicely fit the different settings and other tracks portray the characters’ feelings during given scenes. Even the ending theme features beautiful movements and is fully orchestrated.

Both the Japanese and English dubs are fine. The English version features a few better-written lines and at least one cheesy, hilarious voice, while the Japanese dub is more serious and better fits the characters’ emotions. Take your pick.

CHARACTER: 5/10
The female characters look a lot alike and have normal-sized breasts. Their bodies are slim and tight but a few shots also feature nice curves. The three noble women have blond hair that varies in length and shade.

Princess Beatrice, the main character, is most notable for her wide variety of facial expressions during sex. The ones she makes in the second half of the movie can be quite sexy.

Queen Vanessa is a little taller and has slightly bigger breasts than Beatrice, and Princess Kathleen is a little shorter and thinner, but otherwise look a lot like her.

Beatrice also has two female servants, a dark-skinned redhead, Faye, and a black-haired girl, Adele. Other random women and masked soldiers take part in sex scenes as well and have no distinctive features or lines of dialog.

ENJOYMENT: 6/10
Sex sounds effects are a little unrealistic at times but are usually subtle. Despite being forced into sex most of the times, some of the female characters eventually unveil their lewd nature and take pleasure. Many scenes include a lot of secondary characters, either naked or lightly dressed, listening to their king atop the castle walls or having an orgy.

If any of you can relate to the evil king, you might enjoy the fantasy of being an almighty ruler who can do as he pleases with his country and his people. Most scenes include rape and group sex. Personally I did not enjoy the scenes much in terms of H material because of their mediocre quality, but I appreciated how well they fitted in the theme and plot.

Funny fact, City of Sin is, in tone and plot, reminiscent of the well-known and highly acclaimed Berserk series, and its plot could very well fit in its universe. I’m not saying that Berserk lovers should all watch and enjoy City of Sin, but those who know Kentaro Miura’s work will notice the similarities. It is a dark, edgy, mature title definitely not for everyone. Despite its unbalanced quality it stands as one of the more unique and interesting hentai titles out there.

Inspired by the H manga of the same name, Newmanoid Cam is a short movie included with the purchase of the second volume. While it certainly doesn’t live up to the manga, it isn’t bad as an old school style, stand alone title.

STORY: 4/10
Cam and Scott are mistaken for cosplayers while they investigate something amid a crowded event. Naïve Cam eventually falls into a position of vulnerability and becomes a victim to a group of 6 horny otakus. Nothing is explained about what the investigation is about and nothing aside from the sex scene happens ... to the characters. That could hardly be called a plot. It is but a setting.

ART: 5/10
The art is simple and features only 2 shades per color most of the time, but it does the job and still looks nice. The characters usually fill the entire screen during the sex scene, so most of the background art shots are only seen at the beginning. It looks fine, but a lot of people in the crowds are merely outlines filled with white.

Animation is average in quality. Some of the body parts, like the torso or face remain awkwardly still at times while the arms or pelvis are moving. The animation therefore isn’t as realistic or detailed as in other titles, but it doesn’t look bad either.

SOUND: 6/10
Cam’s voice actress has a lovely, cheerful voice. She has a few funny lines in the beginning but doesn’t do much during the H scene, aside from feeling good about being raped and filled with cum and describing what’s going on, like an old school, cliché hentai character.

CHARACTER: 6/10
Cam, who is supposed to be a loli in the manga, is depicted quite differently here. She is a short, very slim, upbeat girl with puffy pink hair, huge breasts for her size and big, cute blue eyes. She seems like a fun and adorable girl to be around with, but her naiveté makes her a bit dumb. It is clear in this movie that she already has a lot of experience in bed and takes great pleasure in sex, which seemed a little odd to me considering her personality.

ENJOYMENT: 4/10
Censorship amount is rather heavy. Simple yet nice details like Cam’s nipples poking through the cloth when aroused and her panties getting darker when wet are shown. Fluids such as saliva and sperm are abundant and add erotic value to the scenes. Cam’s moans during sex are subtle and sexy. She enjoys the action even though she is a little reticent before every new act.

The boys’ ejaculations are massive and form a puddle at Cam’s feet in one scene. Taking advantage of Cam, they use her as a sex object to relieve themselves but she is able to take it. I thought that the camera focused a bit too much on them, trying to fit all six in the frame most of the time any action takes place. That was a little distracting to me.

Newmanoid Cam is short and average in quality. It definitely doesn’t meet the standards of its time and shouldn’t be taken too seriously: the girl is technically being abused and raped in public, and nobody around seems to notice or care about it. The otakus get their just desserts at the end, which I think breaks any suspension of disbelief that could remain by now. Overall I’d say it could be worth a look considering its length, but you probably won’t miss much if you pass on it unless you have a bukkake fetish.

Bi-chiku Beach’s qualities overshadow its flaws. It is a short and at times redundant title but its great art, expert shading, nice female cast and fantasy-friendly plot more than make up for it.

STORY: 6/10
A bunch of lucky fans get to spend a week taking pictures of their favorite gravure idols on a small, tropical island. One of the fans, Ryou, receives a mysterious camera that turns its models into nymphos, and ... you can guess the rest. Erotic photo shoots, stripping and quality time ensues. The whole plot is exposed within the first minute and what follows are almost non-stop sex scenes.

Being only one episode-long and featuring not much in terms of plot, Bi-chiku Beach is aimed at being enjoyed as pure H material. The premise sets a no holds barred, any-fantasy-goes kind of mood, which, combined to the relaxing tropical setting, should help the viewers immerse themselves in the movie and have a good time.

ART: 8/10
Art is definitely above-average even though it looks simple at first glance. Curvy lines are abundant and up to 4 shades per color are given proper care in every single frame. I’d say the shading succeeds expertly at helping depict curves and bumps.
Most of what you’ll see as background images is a blue sky, sand and a few palm trees.

Animation quality varies. At its subtler it is fairly realistic: the girls shiver, blink and sigh, and every frame is well drawn. A few other scenes feature average movement quality and fluidity, especially during penetration acts.

SOUND: 7/10
The voice acting was okay. Nothing was really noteworthy about it, which is positive I guess. At least the girls’ voices weren’t annoying or too loud. Sound effects are also very subtle. I found that the other features of the movie drew my attention a lot more.

CHARACTER: 8/10
The girls’ beauty and the erotic way they are depicted is one of the highlights of this title. They are a combination of sexy and cute, truthful to the original artist’s style, and their physical appearances are nicely varied. They all have big, but not exaggerated breasts for their size (that is, according to hentai standards). The especially well-drawn nipples poke through the tight bathing suits and the great shading emphasizes curves very well, such as the mounds of Venus and butts. Facial expressions are cute and lovely and the girls are often shown blushing subtly and covered in sweat.

Kaede is the middle-sized one, with black hair, dreamy purple eyes and generous curves. She doesn’t have any really striking feature but is still very pretty to look at. She wears a blue swimsuit reminiscent of typical high school ones.

Nagisa is the oldest, tallest girl and has the biggest curves. Her flowing blond hair and gentle nature are nicely contrasted by her willingness to exhibit, heavy breathing and sexy moans during lovemaking.

Nanami is the younger and more slender one but still has big boobs. Her pink hair tied in side tails and orange eyes are a bit flashy but suit her well and she gets to wear the skimpiest swimsuit.

There is no character development and the girls don’t seem to have much of a personality, but considering the aim of this title I didn’t think of that as being flaws. If I were offered the chance to sleep with a nympho idol for a whole week on a deserted island, I’d probably have that single thing in mind too.

ENJOYMENT: 7/10
The genitals, nipples and other curves, when covered by swimsuits, are impressively well drawn. You could simply change the color of the swimsuits to a skin tone and wouldn’t be able to tell the girls aren’t bare-naked. The censorship, average in amount, does impair enjoyment a little but you can still make out some of the lines in close-up shots, something that I believe is rare in censored H titles and much appreciated. Sex scenes end with simultaneous climax.

Despite being embarrassed, the girls are consensual and enjoy their time. Ryou comes off as a bit of a jerk because of his constant grin and salacious comments, but he still focuses on giving pleasure to the girls and treats them with respect. A proper way of saying it would be that this guy adds a little bad boy edge to his very decent attitude.

The animation could have been better at times and some sex acts were a little redundant, but otherwise Bi-chiku Beach is a beautiful title that should please any kind of viewer, especially if you favor non-extreme content and ever fantasized about the perfect setting to have libertine sex in.

Produced by Pashmina (Kakushi Dere, Gogo no Kouchou), Hump Bang is a fairly enjoyable title that focuses on the domination dynamic of a teenage couple.

STORY: 6/10
Two friends who live next to each other expect their relationship to evolve but disagree on how they should go about it, which leads to comedic situations. Hump Bang focuses on humor and therefore should be taken lightly. Some of the jokes are nothing new, typical Anime boy/girl romance comedy. Yet Kouji’s heavily hentai-influenced expectations of his relationship with Hiro, his brutal honesty and odd logic felt more original and ... genuinely funny. The two proceed to enjoy each other sexually. The domination dynamic is installed early on and escalates until the end. Kouji is a little overexcited at times and seems selfish. He makes a few misogynistic comments too. For those reasons I personally couldn’t identify much with him.

ART: 5/10
Art is only average in quality. I especially noticed the lack of detailed lines when bodies are shown from above. The sizes of breasts and butts aren’t always consistent. The shading could be a lot better too: only 2 shades per color are given proper care but it does the job. Overall nothing is particularly impressive here, but nothing’s really bad either.

Animation quality is a little below average. Some movements are not realistic at times and look so wrong they made me laugh (watch for the breasts in the first sex scene especially. The way they move is hilariously bad). The second episode features more erotic angles and slightly better art.

SOUND: 7/10
Hiro’s character does have a sweet, lovely voice and the voice actress accounted for little, welcomed details like sighs and having her mouth full. The only problem I had with her is that she sometimes moans much louder, and so I had to adjust the volume a few times. Rin’s voice isn’t heard much and didn’t have any noticeable feature, and Kouji’s was okay.

CHARACTER: 5/10
Hiro is a high school student with long green hair and an average-sized body. She makes cute facial expressions when aroused and tends to blush a lot, which are the only features that stand out about her. She’s embarrassed at first and wants to punch Kouji for making her so, but otherwise has not much of a personality. She seems to have light masochistic fantasies and enjoys submission.

Rin is a friend of Hiro and seems to have a thing for her. She is met a few times on the way to school and stars in one sex scene. She’s a cute, bubbly, short brown-haired girl who doesn’t add much to the story yet doesn’t seem to have any reserve against joining in the action. Both girls, most of the time, are drawn with breasts that are slightly big for their size (according to hentai standards, of course) and an average-sized butt.

ENJOYMENT: 6/10
The amount of censorship is usually average but is heavier for close-up shots. At least Hiro’s uncensored and often-exposed butthole partially makes up for it.
Some of the sex scenes are rather short and end abruptly, others are longer and end with climax reach. Some shots are shown several times to add length, but the overall average quality of the movie doesn’t particularly make these enjoyable.
The second episode features slightly better, riskier and more arousing scenes.

Kindan no Byoutou, AKA Abstinence Ward / Forbidden Ward, shows great production value and detail in every of its technical aspects. Plus, the sex scenes are all consensual, erotic, enjoyed by the characters and keep on escalating in lewdness until the end.

Dark yet colorful, atmospheric, urban background art drawn with impressive detail immediately set a cool, comfortable vibe when the movie starts. Some objects and furniture are even drawn with textures. The excellent art here eases immersion.

The first scene introduces the nurse Rinne, showing off her expert fingerplay skills to her love interest, Dr. Sousuke. ... Throughout the movie, the handsome, mysterious, well-endowed doctor uses his position of authority to put nurses and female patients into intimacy-friendly situations and give them a taste of his unorthodox medicine. The female characters are all quickly seduced by his ways and sleep with him, which I thought was still somewhat believable as a plot. The absence of forced sex is noticeable and welcomed. It is also unclear whether Sousuke has some kind of persuasion superpower or not: sometimes his eyes glow when he gives orders but the girls don’t seem to become possessed or anything.

Rinne is a black haired, slender, attractive nurse who appears in her early twenties and works under Dr. Sousuke. Her very high-pitched voice somewhat doesn’t seem to fit her looks, and her personality is a little bland, but her devotion to Dr. Sousuke and longing for lovemaking make her adorable.

Sara, the doctor’s first patient, is a shy, cute, silver-haired schoolgirl whose uniform compliments her huge breasts so well I found it very difficult to take my eyes off them. She apparently suffers from androphobia, the fear of men, and you can take a wild guess what happens to her affliction after Sousuke’s special treatment.

Azumi, another patient, stands out with her short green hair, casual clothing and generous curves. She works as a high school teacher and is embarrassed by the treatment yet quickly becomes aroused whenever she thinks about it. She fulfills that fantasy about a chaste, decent woman who gets to reveal her lewd side. She seems to be a married woman, and even though her husband is said to be a stupid tool and is never introduced, some of you might not enjoy the netorare theme going on with her.

Fuyuno, a quiet nurse who has short silver hair, a petite frame and wears glasses, does little in the first episode. She is revealed to be a futanari in the second one, which instantly boosted my interest in her for I am particularly fond of this fetish. She might not be the prettiest one physically but she has an adorable shyness.

Reina, the third patient, has pink hair, a slender, healthy silhouette and works as an eroge idol. Introduced in the second episode, she stars in the movie’s first actually humorous scenes. I’d rather not spill the beans about her story. See it for yourself for its originality and humor.

It is safe to say that the art quality in this title is high above average: the girls are attractive, a good combination of sexy and cute, they have erotic facial expressions and positions and there are up to 4 shades per color on the characters. Even fingernails are drawn with precise lines.
Nipples are particularly well-drawn and move realistically when touched and pressed. Adding extra lewdness to the scenes are the inclusion of saliva, tears, sweat drops and love juices, often abundant on the naked bodies or through the underwear.

Animation quality is also fluid and detailed. Sometimes the characters are shown shivering or making subtle movements. There are only a handful of scenes that feature simpler, not as impressive animation.
The speed of sex acts is sometimes slow, sometimes faster, which, combined with the many, carefully drawn frames and erotic positions, manages to create a more sensual kind of mood. The female characters are always treated with respect and enjoy their special time with Sousuke or with other men. Many scenes have them stick their tongue out in pleasure.

Close-up shots of the female genitals surprisingly feature little censorship unlike many other titles out there. Only so much is lost that you can easily use your imagination to recreate an uncensored image in your mind. The censorship is often heavier on the male genitalia though. Also, although I’m not particularly a fan of internal views, I must admit that the ones depicted here are very well done.

Sex sounds are sometimes loud and a little exaggerated, sometimes subtler and more realistic. A few blowjob scenes feature very lewd sucking sounds. Female voices have varied pitch and Sousuke’s voice seemed much quieter than the female characters’. You might have to turn up the volume everytime he speaks, that is, if you understand Japanese and give a damn. The voice actresses do a fine job of portraying the characters’ emotions and add little details such as sighs in between words and nervous stuttering.

Kindan no Byoutou shows great production value. The aspects unrelated to sex such as general art and animation are undeniably on par with some of the newer, better, non-hentai titles out there. If you’re looking for eye candy, I’m confident that this title will meet your expectations. Believe me when I say I try to be as objective as possible yet cannot find a single flaw that really impaired enjoyment in this movie.

Content is tame yet lewd, erotic and expertly presented. Unless you are only into the more extreme fetishes such as gore, scat, rape or violence, I believe that Kindan no Byoutou has something for everybody. Its variety, great design, easy immersion and attractive, lustful characters who all enjoy sex make it a noteworthy title and one of my favorites. If it weren’t for the censorship I’d give it a perfect 10/10.

Chu shite agechau starts off slow and becomes better and better as it progresses.

This title begins with a funny scene starring the main male character, Akira, jerking off to a video and being interrupted by his big sister Yuu who offers to service him. The plot then revolves around the boy being clueless about puberty and sex, and being taught on the subject by different women during various lovemaking sessions. Akira is kind of a blank slate character, one that viewers should usually be able to identify with easily. I personally felt that he was used as a sex object the entire time. The tone ... is comedic and delivers a few chuckles. The story isn’t to be taken seriously and so the focus is on the H scenes.

Save for height and colors, the female characters’ bodies have many similarities, big breasts for their size and a slightly more slender lower body.

Yuu is a cute, busty redhead whose role is to take care of her brother. She is caring and collected, and doesn’t seem to have any moral barriers when it comes to getting involved in incestuous sex. She sleeps with Akira in order to “help” him with his “treatment”.

Kimika is the doctor who examines Akira and recommends he gets laid as often as possible. Her appearance and personality is that of a mature and professional woman. She wasn’t very interesting to me at first, partly because the sex scene she stars in stems from a lengthy, non-erotic context and because Akira remains awkwardly still all the time. The second half of their scene gets better though, she looks sexier when dressed in casual wear later on and she is ultimately bolder and more lustful than Yuu.

Sana seems to be a friend of Akira. She too lacks experience in bed, has long blond hair, a slimmer, tighter frame and comes off as a clumsy, tsundere yet lovely girl. Her cute expressions and curves of more credible size made her my favorite even though she has less screen time.

Nozomu is a nurse who makes a brief appearance by joining the fun in the final H scene. There isn’t much to say about her.

The art and shading is fine. It’s what one would expect of a 2013 release’s standards. The quality of animation varies: some acts are detailed, smooth and have a good amount of frames, others are much simpler.

Several blowjob and handjob scenes also include nicely animated ball play, something I believe we don’t see enough in hentai anime and therefore is very welcomed. Most penetration scenes also end with the boy cumming inside the girl, and female characters often keep their underwear during lovemaking.

In the first episode, the sex scenes seemed to lack some spice, some more emotional involvement from the characters. The absence of any moral questions, romantic feelings and the naïveté of the main characters are somewhat disconcerting. This is the only way I can describe it: it lacks feel. Granted, Akira has absolutely no idea, no knowledge about sex and intimacy and is taught about it all throughout the movie. I suppose the staff’s aim was to appeal to the viewers’ first time interest in these subjects, but one would still expect the other characters to be emotionally involved beyond the mere pleasure of giving and receiving sexual stimulation.

It all changes in the second episode though. The girls are depicted in a more erotic fashion. Sex scenes have a noticeable increase in roughness and lewdness. The characters express more emotions and Akira is more proactive. Sex sounds effects are not subtle anymore. Breasts jiggle more often. These changes triggered more interest on my part right from the get-go. Note that this episode also features nearly non-stop sex. I have to say this one is far more enjoyable than the first.

At times, there is censorship over the female crotch even when the girl’s panties are on, which felt unnecessary and silly. The amount of censorship varies: it is usually small but some close-up shots feature larger pixels.

This is the second time I review a hentai title produced by PoRo, and I’ve noticed that in both titles music and sound effects are usually soft and subtle. The voice actresses do a good job and didn’t sound annoying. However, in a few scenes, the girls talk with their mouth full from servicing the boy or without any lips movement. That didn’t felt realistic at all and broke immersion. I suppose we should blame the animators for this.

I have a few favorite moments:
Kimika’s frog-like position when doing it with Akira in the bathroom. I thought it was funny yet original and arousing.
Sana’s first time in a very nicely-drawn doggy style position.
And the two final group sex scenes are a nice, rewarding ending to the movie.

Needless to say, if you are irked by incestuous relations you should probably stay away from this title. I personally enjoyed Chu shite agechau fairly, the second episode a lot more than the first. Many aspects could have been better but nothing is really bad either. Maybe the mood the production team was going for in the first episode simply wasn’t my cup of tea, but its H scenes are still decent.

I’d recommend this title for those of you who want a hentai that is light in tone and who enjoy watching female characters take the lead and service a guy (in the first episode). The second episode should please any kind of viewer. If you are new to the hentai genre I’d say it is perfect to watch as an introductory title.

Final words: more doctors should prescribe that kind of treatment.

Based on the hentai game by the same name I believe, Love2Quad is full of little details that are both pleasing and refreshing.

The anime begins in the middle of a lovemaking scene between Ermalit and her boyfriend Toudou, with whom she has a peculiar relationship. They don’t seem emotionally involved much at first yet have no problem enjoying each other sexually. She likes to tease and order him around and he usually plays along, but the affection and commitment they have towards each other shows in their physical interactions, and this I believe is the highlight of the story.
Because I haven’t played the game I ... did not fully understand what was going on in the plot, but it seems that the couple’s sexual life strengthens Ermalit so she can fight an opponent of some sort.

The main female character, Ermalit, is physically a mix between Saber from Fate Stay Night and Sena Kashiwazaki from Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai. She is petite and cute yet has generous, beautiful curves and a nice pair of legs in stockings. Her breasts are rather big for her size and jiggle quite seductively in a few scenes, and her butt is definitely the kind you’d want to bury your face in, which happens twice during the movie to my great satisfaction.
The other female character, the loli Chitose, makes a brief apparition for comic relief. I suppose she’s a cameo and plays a greater role in the game.

Character art is above average. Fair care is given to the shading and facial expressions are very detailed. Interestingly enough, the characters, dialogs and sex scenes really drew my attention, so much that at mid-point I noticed that I didn’t look at the background art properly yet. And I must say that it looks gorgeous and quite realistic.

The quality of the animation (the still images when in movement) is smooth and also detailed: sometimes a character will be shown shivering or frowning nervously.

I wasn’t able to find who was casted as Ermalit, but I’ve been agreeably surprised by her voice. At times she has a middle-pitched, warm and therefore very sexy voice when she talks and moans, a welcome change from the often super high-pitched tones of hentai heroines.

There is no music in the movie and the sounds of sex acts such as licking and fondling are noticeably subtle. I believe that it lets the viewer better appreciate the dialogs, but if you’re looking for loud, soggy sounds in your hentai you won’t find it in this title.

I was also pleased by the slight to average amount of censorship. The lines and curves of genitals can still be seen, at least for the male character. Ermalit’s bare genitals are only showed for brief moments and otherwise are covered with her clothes.

When a character plays a more passive role during lovemaking, they still grab their partner’s body and act lustful, another welcomed detail that adds a lot to enjoyment.

Despite all of the above positive aspects, this title is not without little flaws:
One of the sex scenes has an unwelcomed abrupt end right when it begins to escalate and become more interesting.
The sensual, usually slow pace of lovemaking, although enjoyable, can become a little tedious. I would have liked to see an increase in lewdness and speed as the movie progressed. I suppose the events were as teasing to me as Ermalit is in her relationship with Toudou.

Most memorable moment: when Ermalit unzips Toudou’s pants with her foot and turns to sit on his face. I found the scene original and quite sexy.

Overall I believe that Love2Quad’s staff took great care into making this title. It shows in every aspect and detail of the movie, and I had a great time watching it, not so much as pure H material but rather for its good taste, subtlety and magnetic power. I’d recommend it for those of you who enjoy interesting love relationships and sensual, affectionate scenes starring cute, likeable heroines. I dare give it a rare, meaningful score of 9/10.

Final words: pregnant women are beautiful.

This title focuses on the story, which is your typical lighthearted soap opera: people dealing with their relationships’ highs and lows. As in a lot of other anime about love, characters are awkward or shy in presence of their love interests and don't have much of a personality. But there is nothing innovative or emotionally rich in this one, so the story was rather boring to me.

The art in general is not ugly for a 1999 title but isn’t good either. Only breasts I’d say are actually decently drawn and animated.

I couldn’t take the English dub seriously because some of the voices sound quite silly. ... The Japanese dub was okay.

A few scenes that feature nudity are void of any sexual context. The sex scenes themselves are brief and involve more foreplay than intercourse.
The characters’ genitals are very simply drawn: a handful of pencil lines and skin color.

Features consensual and typical sex acts only although one of the couple has more of a master/slave relationship, a few cumshots, a paizuri scene and vibrators.

Overall I found Charm Point to be bland and clichéd. I suppose it could be an okay introduction to hentai anime for those who never watched any and who don’t want to see too much focus on sex or extreme fetishes, but it is a forgettable title. I wouldn’t compare it to Sexfriend at all.
