It's OK, I've already been exposed to it most of my life. How do you make it appealing and marketable toward non-Vietnamese and non-Asians audiences is another story. I mean how do you impress K-pop fans to crossover to Vietnamese stuff. Why do you think we started to have Vietnamese members in K-pop for?



Or maybe you know someone that has autism but wasn't diagnosed with it. Yes, there is such thing as a undiagnosed autistic. You have to remember that autism is a spectrum, so no two autistic person are the same, you can have 1 autistic that behave differently from another autistic. That's one of the reason why there are people that don't get autism diagnosis until many years later:

And this is also common in not only women/girls, but also Asian/Asian-American childrens including Vietnamese. So it's unknown how many Vietnamese that are high-functioning autistic may not know they have autism.

No, it's not that dude. I was born in 1987 (if you bothered to look at my MAL profile). It's a bit of a long story but are you familiar with autism spectrum disorder or Rối loạn phổ tự kỷ? Well, that effects my language including learning new one (which is why I can't speak or understand fluent Vietnamese). That one also plus back in the 90's and 2000's, none of the Disney animated films I grew up loving & watching didn't have any Vietnamese dub. So my favorites like Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast, and The Lion King never had any Vietnamese dub back in the day. So because these animated films from Disney I watched as a kid never had a Vietnamese dub, I could never be able to learn Vietnamese when I was young. It also doesn't help that Vietnamese language class was non-existent back in the 90's in the United States compare to today.

Another factor: Vietnamese pop culture just don't have the same mainstream international appeal compared to something like Korean pop or Japanese anime culture to make Vietnamese language look appealing to a wider non-Vietnamese audiences.

So do you understand why I couldn't be able to learn, speak, or understand Vietnamese fluently?



Probably because most Vietnamese aren't full English speakers compared to let say Taiwanese, or South Koreans (both Taiwan and South Korea take their English-language education very seriously). The only Vietnamese people you're going to meet on MAL are either Vietnamese-Americans, Vietnamese-Canadians, Vietnamese who are French nationals/citizens who can speak fluent English like you and me.

PS: Your MAL profile said you're living in Vietnam, so you're Vietnamese!?? I'm a 2nd gen Vietnamese-American and funny enough, I'm not fluent in Vietnamese despite both of my parents are refugees from Vietnam (as the result of the war).
