# A copy of a clone is ... ?
This anime is basically a clone of "Arifureta", but worse. It's kind of amazing to have successfully done worst than the original, considering that the original wasn't exactly that great, but this studio actually achieved just that.
How ? First, they took the worst 3d scenes/content of Arifureta and reuse it ... uselessly. Meaning you will find 3d CG when you will least expect it (MC turning his back to the camera and going his way ? 3d ! Obviously !). The only explanation I could come up to explain these useless 3d scenes is that the ... studio has a 3d beginner graphic artist that need to upgrade his skills, and the studio use this anime for that.
Then, the narrative : while arifureta was being almost funny at times, Hazurewaku(...) takes it way too seriously. This is unfortunately a path of thorns for this anime since every little thing become an obvious cliché to the more experienced viewers. No surprise there.
And finally, the story itself. While on its revenge path, the MC is barely showing any strong emotions accordingly. He keeps repeating at envy his entire motivation, but finally this seriously lacks conviction.
If you're in a bind, waiting for your next isekai fix, maybe this anime should do the trick ... temporarily. But I would suggest to ask your clone to watch it instead of yourself.

- An anime that forgot to level up
Clearly, Akuyaku Reijou Level 99 is lacking in many ways. Starting with its execution, as the animation and graphics could barely sustained the story. This might be enough in a way, since this anime is not exactly trying to deepen our existence from its visuals.

Provided that you do not have too much expectations, following this very stoic villainess to achieve her only goal (which could be resume to be as grand as being green grass or a forgotten landscape paint) could prove quite funny to some viewers, specifically in her monologues or retort answers. But honestly... that's about ... it.
Contrary to its main character, this anime could have gained from some leveling, still if you're patient enough and need something easy to follow without much intensity, I can recommend Akuyaku Reijou Level 99 since I'm feeling magnanimous.
But you might need to level up yourself afterward...

Mold should grow on you watching this show.
What a terrible, bland and pointless show that was. Even for those of us perfectly fine with a slow and peaceful anime, this one could represent a bit of a challenge of sort. The first issue here is that you will learn nothing. There is outrageously and absolutely nothing to learn from this anime - even from its main theme alone - starting at episode 1 till it ends. The second issue is that while you will learn nothing about farming, you will instead learn that you can blatantly reused others shows ideas, and what's more, without making ... anything of it. This ought to be the least creative a show can be.
If you're still bend to watch this show, keep it up. Maybe you could find something to see for yourself that I just couldn't. There are *actually* some good points starting with the soft pace, some good comedic aspect and the solid world around the characters.

But basically, to me this anime ressembles one of the main character's powers : it didn't have to use seeds. Instead, it run with others ideas to grow a tasteless show.

Any cure is a slow process.
Unlike this anime, for that matter. Rushed towards the last few episodes, which crush every bit of expectations you were slowly accumulating over the progress of an anime with an unusual theme. It's an absolute pity, because for those who enjoy a nice change of pace, this anime was starting good, if not - at the very least - steadily.
Then suddenly, it comes down crashing when every problem is a medical one resolved by the way of godly powers which absolutely undeserve the anime theme. If you've nothing better to do, you can watch this anime but keep in ... mind you're likely to be disapointed.

# bad demon lord, mal viewers mad...

We're going to start with the obvious defaults of this anime.
First - let's get this out of the way - the animation is awful. You might have seen worse, but Kuang Shen Mo Zun looks like a set of (badely written) 3d scripts in a uneventful loop made by a lazy, drunk and desperate artist. But by then, the music, especially the anime introduction is *so* much worse that the animation looks suddenly not that appalling. The best thing that could happen for this anime is for the associated musical band to disband. Preferably permanently.

Now, if you're stubborn enough ... to get past these aforementionned defaults, you might find some unusual (in a chinese anime) qualities hidden in the dialogs. I've found them quite mature, quite funny sometimes (better at least than the random comic aspects of the show). This seems unusual to me, especially in a chinese anime, where you will usually find the dialogs as a mix of clichés sentences and childish heroic punchlines sewed together. To help with that, the characters and their developpement aren't all that bad and at the very least, they are *consistent*.

Since the story progresses very slowly, I can't say much about the scenario. Basically, this feels more like a detective (dee) story than your inevitable "i-will-rule-them-all" manhua.

- Some legs to die for -

You would be wise not to dismiss this anime just because of its silly name, nor its seemingly ressemblance to a popular slime anime character. This anime deserves your interest first from its narrative, while maybe not that original or creative (there's plenty of movies or tv-series out there with this kind of narrative), and an incredibly cute spider in a very struggling situation. And what a struggle, for this poor little leggy thing. Which in turns, unfortunately, leads to the 'not-so-good' parts of this anime :
The main character is so interesting, in her every day fight to ... survive, that every thing that goes around the spider seemed in contrast dull and bland. With a lead character that enticing, there should have been a better balance for every other aspects of this anime, which fails a little short in my opinion here, since it also becomes a struggle for the viewers not to fast forward any scene the little spider is not on screen.
In the end - provided that you *did* resist to fast forward these scenes - you will be rewarded with a better comprehension to the story.
But now, be warned : it's very likely that, if you get too close to this very cute insect, if you persist and witnessed the dark sides of her survival, then you will get caught in her web. At this point... you're doomed. She's impossible not to like.

A walk in the park :
Ikebukuro West Gate Park is your typical hard-to-rate anime. You won't easily find much to say about its execution, which might lacks a bit, ... but not that much either. There are not that many flaws in that show, despite a lot of targeted critiscisms. To me, it raises the question whether this anime is a potential victim to the expectations it seemingly pushed on its viewers. So when these expecations are not met, this anime suffers.
Truth to be told, it's a bit unfair to the whole story of the show. It's entertaining, in its own way, and without exactly ... relying in a deluge of blood splatters for a change.
It might come a bit weak (around the corners) for the mystery genre, but I still think it was able to provide some interesting interlaced links between all episodes that reminds me some movies with a similar narration.
I can only think of 2 things at times that can get a bit cringing : the overwhelming kind feelings of the supposedly
"not-so-kind" main character that "pretends to be a nice guy" (especially when he's really a nice guy and it's not even
a debate, seriously). And the relative ease in which a kid has so many connections that even the police is at his beck and call. Apart from this, this anime is still an easy recommandation, providing a nice story as long as you go with the flow.

Boring as hell. What a disapointment. Forget about the excitement of the previous season, Raihousha-hen feels like a filler to introduce the next new season, and hopefully, a much better one. All aspects of the "strategic class" and genius engineer serves no purpose here, and between the very bland blonde new character and the ever crazy sex deprived little brocon sister, there's not so much to enjoy. I've watched this anime one week ago and already forgot 2/3 of it.
It's OK to watch this if you liked the first season, but you've been warned : don't expect anything from it.
This season was probably made ... to fulfill some production contract or something.

The God of High School introduces a not-so-new genre to the anime stereotypes : the popcorn anime.
Choose your favored beverage and snacks, put your brain to sleep, and maybe this viewing experience will not end up so bad. 'Talking from experience, this anime is for people whom have just finished a night shift round - the closest experience to being brain dead must be being sleep deprived - and wants something on the easiest side to swallow.
Which is clearly its strongest point. Everything in this anime is a pretext to a fight scene (which are numerous), to the point ... that it makes everything else - character dev, plot, dialogs (the worst part to me), you name it - looking absolutely awful.
We've seen this kind of animes before (e.g Baki ONA, which I think is even worse than this one).

But since animes come with all shapes and sizes, I can't dismiss the possibility that this show will found its audience among the people who needs a good fight, carefully avoiding ANYTHING relatively close to a conscious thought.
If that's all you're asking for, The God of High School might be not so bad ...
... maybe ?

Everything is excessive, in this anime. From the main superpowered character to the used and abused clichés, the storyline trashed with comedic accidents ...
So excessive, that this anime should clearly be considered a comedy, first. And it's quite a suprise that the genre was not tagged to this show.
Think about it : the demon hero asks his very own fan club (an all-girls fan club, mind you) to acclaim him, in a song, in the midst of a battle ?
Quite funny (and what's more, barely bearable since the song is atrocious).
Unfortunately, there's only one ... problem with this, but it's a major one :
This anime seems to never exactly assume this comedic stance. And it's a pity, really. It seems to go back and forth between a barely mediocre isekai (and i'm being very kind)
to a funny and nonsensic action-packed adventure, but never commits to one of these specific genres.
As a result, the viewers should logically either plainly hate the thing or - for those who can appreciate the nonsense and absurdity of the show - never exactly fully enjoyed these few moments of silliness.
i would still recommand to see this anime, if you've got nothing better to do. In its best moments, it's quite amusing...
But you've been warned :
As excessive as it tried to be, this anime got stuck on a middleground level, never reaching a peak.
