It's like Ouran with singing, really. They both have similar character types, and the episodes are set up in the same way. The fun and lovability that characterize Ouran are evident in Prince Sama too. But don't label Uta no Prince Sama as an Ouran Ripoff, it really is much different, but with the same feel. If you cried at the end of Ouran, You'll cry at the end of Prince Sama, I can guarantee that.

Both are fun shows based on stereotypes, though different kinds. Both are personal favorites of mine, too. While Hetalia has less of a story arc than Ouran, they both have similar humor and tone ( I only wouldn't recommend Hetalia if you're really sensitive to racism) But if you love Ouran for the Humor, I can guarantee you'll love Hetalia.
