They both have similar storytelling methods. Both animes hardly take themselves seriously and crack joke after joke, but they have serious moments where the viewer can really connect to the characters.

If you liked Kodomo no Jikan (TV) add

...then you might like Mitsudomoe add

Mitsudomoe is like the same anime in an alternate universe. It's actually really surprising how similar these two animes are. While Kodomo no Jikan is very controversial and I'm not too sure who the demographic is supposed to be for it, Mitsudomoe is genuinely funny and a lot less sexual and overall, just a much better show overall (in my opinion, of course).
