I really liked this anime and it is my first GL/Yuri anime. As a bisexual woman I feel the representation was refreshing, including adults was a good idea. However I think the main thing that kept me watching was that I related to Yuu. In highschool I was also a "late bloomer" and it took me a long time to fall for my first love. Where this anime fails is climax. There was no moment where Yuu said "I love you" just "I wish I Loved you" The ending was not an ending, it felt like right when the main course was about to show ... up it just ends. We don't get to see Touko accept her true self, the play, or Yuu fall in love. For those reasons I can't give this anime a 10. Overall it was good though. I feel like I could only recommend it to other Saphics.

Maybe I ranked this anime too high for some people's taste (10/10) but this anime is just special to my heart, especially this second season. I learned so much about myself and the world because of this show and it helped me through some dark times. Beyond my personal feelings toward it, the story is engaging, heartfelt and at times tense. The season is well-paced and I was able to binge watch it even though that is something I normally wouldn't do. The art style is one of my favorites of all anime I have seen. It is simple and yet crisp, when the high ... action scenes hit it becomes fantastical. Just watch it and you'll see what I mean. The humor of this show is also great, always laughing and it does a good job of balancing the mood of the show. Ultimately this is in my top 5 anime ever.
