I decided to start the year by watching something new and different, even though I'm still looping with Sakura Card Captors! But in parallel I fit into my grid Slayers. I met him in this video of youtube channel Anime Whatever, and my research is an anime so much known here in Brazil (less by me, I did not understand why).
In the anime, we continue journey with Lina Inverse, a powerful witch who accompanied the swordsman Gourry Gabriev, Princess Amelia and the magician swordsman Zelgadis Graywords, face bandits, monsters and demons. Lina has a terrible fame, for always causing unnecessary destruction wherever she goes, due ... to this, she is known by many nicknames not nice!
The story of the anime is interesting, but often it becomes confusing because in an instant they are fighting, and suddenly everything is solved in the blink of an eye. On the other hand, the series can get you quite a laugh, it is stuffed with comedy, which are often starring Lina and Gourry.
You also will not find much romance in Slayer, the characters do not seem to care too much about it, they just want to move on with their journey, and Lina just wants to know how much she will earn with something, which makes her somewhat ambitious When it comes to money.
The fight scenes are very simple, the characters only launch their spells, which cause explosions, or fight with swords, which to a certain point of the anime doesn't seem to cause much damage to the enemy, at least until the end of the series, where there are "Strong" scenes with lots of blood.
So if you are a lover of the animes of the 90s just like me, and Love a comedy, be sure to check out this anime!

I really took me a while to start watching One Piece, I was too lazy for is a very long anime !! But something inside me stirred up the desire to sail the seas of One Piece. If you are thinking how I was, take a chance to One Piece, I believe you will certainly want to embark with Monkey D. Luffy in the most incredible adventures the Grand Line to search for the legendary treasure One Piece.
But first, Luffy looking for a crew, and you will be enchanted with each new member. From beginning we are introduced to each of them, their life stories ... and especially their dreams. It is interesting how the dreams of each connect in a peculiar way to Luffy, causing them to unite on an incredible journey. Gradually the gang is being formed and coming together like a puzzle.
And speaking in the troop, I admire the way in One Peice explore friendship and companionship. More than how members of a family, each fighting the other, they take their pain, give the blood to protect his companion as hard as it may seem the battle. As captain, Luffy is what more worries about your nakamas!
The straw hat gang face harsh battles along the journey. Many ruthless enemies crossing your way some of them stand out for me as Arlong, Crocodile, Enel and of course the World Government are the most terrible so far.
Of course, not everything is made of hard battles! One Piece always finds a way to start a good laugh, often starring Luffy, Usopp and Chopper, who do mischief on the ship during the trips. While all is quiet and its nakamas are fine, Luffy not worry about anything except food! What many times does look like he is not captain.
One Piece also take many tears of our hearts! Some of our gang have stories really suffered as Nami and Robin. But as I said Luffy always take the pain of your friends and fight for them to the end.
One Piece has a wonderful soundtrack, to remember the older animes. Art can seem strange at first, but you get used quickly. However, if you like adventure, laughter, emotions and the power of friendship I'm sure you will love One Piece!

It had been a long time since I did not watch any "new" anime , I was just with DBSuper, and began to watch the whole series of Power Ranger. Finally, last month decided to look for something new to watch. I remembered some anime that caught my attention in a magazine that used to buy when I was younger, the "Ultra Jovem". So I went on the website Super Anime and searched for anime according to the year, more precisely 80 and 90, because honestly, the anime today has me filled eyes, even DBSuper, Sailor Moon Crystal (What even stopped watching), only Digimon Tri ... renewed my teen spirit with nostalgia. So in the middle of the search I found City Hunter.
City Hunter has all I love: police investigation, action and humor! The story revolves around Ryo Saeba a sweeper (a kind of private detective), it is a very demanding detective because just take the case of beautiful woman! All this because he is a Mokkori. This word is present all the time in the episodes, say it is a "nickname" for pervert. Ryo and his friend Hideyuki Makimura, unite to form the City Hunter team in Tokyo. And to contact him, just leave a note with the symbol "XYZ" on the bulletin board at Shinjuku station. However, one day, Hideyuki, is murdered by a gang, and Ryo takes care of Hideyuki sister, Kaori, who becomes his new assistant. Kaori spends all his time chasing Ryo to prevent their "acts Mokkori" with their clients, and for this she enlists the help of a hammer of 100 tonnes, which is all the time at the ready just waiting for the slip Ryo. However this persecution Kaori seems actually involve her feelings for him. Sometimes Ryo also has the Umibozu help, another sweeper and longtime friends. City Hunter is one of those anime that has much to teach us, behind the all the humor, there is always a life history lesson, or people overcoming their fears and having their lives changed due to the Ryo, which shows you the right way to act on each situation. In each episode we have a different story, with different people, and different lives. Of people who need not only Ryo help protect them, but also to overcome obstacles and challenges in your life or even see the world differently.
Besides the drama, City Hunter has a very exciting soundtrack. I just loved the first openings and ending, can't stop listening. Then you search for an anime with lots of action and humor, and with good story, I advise them to watch City Hunter and will not regret it.

Many years ago in my teens, I collected magazine about anime, a group of girls dressed in police uniform got my attention (as I love police series and logically also love the anime). The name of this anime, Silent Mobius, never left my mind until they decide to enter the world of these young police girls in last month. Silent Mobius has a history somewhat apocalyptic, and as I had just watched Neo Genesis Evangelion, felt that the two stories were similar in some points, as the Earth is attacked by unknown creatures.
Yes, there in 2023 things are no longer as we know, abominable creatures ... known as Lucifer Hawk (a name that to me makes no sense), terrorizing people, more precisely in the Tokyo city. To combat these creatures a special police department was created, the Department 00, also known as AMP (Attacked Mystification Police Force) which is formed only by women!
The story has everything I really love when it comes to an anime with women! They are in charge, are strong and powerful, and we still have a hint of romance. I really love the romance of Kiddy and Ralph. At first they were like rivals, Kiddy being as tough as Ralph, and both live fighting, until fall in love. No doubt a classic love story!
Many times the story becomes confusing when trying to explain how was the appearance of the Lucifer Hawk, and especially who opened the Nemesis gates. It is insinuated that who does it is the father Katsumi, Gigelf Liqueur, however, in all episodes have something about him, I always had the impression that he tried to prevent the opening of the gates. However, it is not explicit who actually caused all the current decline of the planet. They are sometimes cited secret projects like Gaea Project that are secret even to us, their details are not clear.
An interesting point of Silent Mobius is that taking out the soundtracks of background, most of the songs are in English, fleeing rather than we see in anime in general. Both ending are sung in English, delicate and soothing "Silently" and the romantic "Till The End Of Time". One exception is opening “Forbidden Pensee”, an exciting music with subtle touch of mystery. The background music are also not to throw away bring orchestral atmosphere that perfectly blends the mysterious and dark side of Silent Mobius. The character designs was something that take long to get used to, at first things seemed a little strange, such as Katsumi's face it, depending on your perspective seemed higher, which left her with a look of older than she really was .
At first I thought that 26 episodes would not be enough for addressing every story that was to come, as we got to the 11th episode, and was even introduced the story of some character. Maybe that's why some important explanations end up getting out and everything seems to happen disorderly.

For anyone who has always been in love with golden knights and missed his appearances after the end of the saga of Hades, this is a good opportunity to get back in touch of golden warriors. Our estimated knights, return to life and reappear in cold Asgard. At first you are as confused as the knights themselves, and wonders, "what they do in Asgard?", "How were sent there?". This and many other questions only increases with passing episodes.
The story is engaging and maintain the level of battles such as the classic series. At the very beginning, we have the struggle between Miro and Camus, which ... again seems to change sides. It makes me angry, why see two great friends having to fight each other again, it's not pleasant. Two other almost conflict are Shura and Aioria, but the lion shows that does not keep grudge by the events of the past. But the unknown of all history, is undoubtedly know who to be under control of Andrea. It is true that something divine is under command of both Andreas as of Lyfia, but this secret goes to the latest episodes.
Just as it was magnificent relive the 12 knights of gold, it was also the idea of reviving the opening "Soldier Dream", leading us to a nostalgia of Asgard Saga. Also, I would say that animation and character designs are good looking or as good as the Hades Saga.
I loved to see another side of the gold knights that had never been shown in the classic series, see it as common people in ordinary clothes, wandering the city was really a cool experience. Who drew the most attention at this point undoubtedly was Death Mask. He has shown that also has a good side, it was even able to fall in love.
The series closes with great finale, I thought could have an exclamation of Athena with Aioria in the center to defeat Loki, but either way was magnificent. I think many people as I would like the knight continued living on the other hand, we know that this would not be possible and it would not make any sense. No doubt another great work of Kurumada.

I've lost count of how many times I watch Tenchi Muyo, but I never get tired of watching! Tenchi Muyo is a classic tale of romance, and the high point of the series are the scenes of humor protagonized by the frequent fights between Aêka and Ryoko, competing for the love of Tenchi.
At first, the story introduze each character, and begins to create the link between the girls and Tenchi. However, this seemed to be just preparing the viewer for the main focus of the story, the events on the planet Jurai due to the appearance of legendary warrior Yosho, who had disappeared a long ... time ago. From the beginning, it can see that there is a mystery behind the origins of Tenchi, because of the peculiar way Tenchi and Aêka are related, and you can understand better with the unfolding of the plot.
In the end, the decisive battle against the real enemy is not so great, all responsibility falls under Tenchi who bravely fight, even without knowing quite what to do with a sword that was handed to him by his grandfather. Another point was the end of Ryoko, I always hoped that she and Tenchi be together, always felt she had more pure and true feelings for Tenchi. But I knew Tenchi should save Aeka then he would never choose Ryoko at that time. The last appearance of Ryoko's just sad, and I got to thinking that she actually died after leaving aimlessly wandering the universe.
There is nothing to complain about animation, especially when portraying the landscapes of both the Earth and of Jurai. The mountains, the sky and the vegetation a touch of tranquility to life the characters. I especially love the Jurai's landscapes and I feel Jurai has a feudal feature that is also strongly defined by the soundtrack, the most striking being "Royal Nights". On the other hand, I did not like it one bit of opening and ending.
I think Tenchi Muyo deserved to have more episode that dealt with history of the Jurai Royal Family and the legendary warrior Yosho and also the personal story of each character, which is not fully revealed and that leaves us eager to know more about her origins!

This is my first review! Although there is no a big fight with powerful enemies I felt that this special was just to bring the anime back to life in the memory of many fans, after 11 years. I loved the way they redid the opening "Chala-Head-Chala" introduced the current characters (Goten and Trunks). The comic side still remains, with the "brawl" between Goku and Vegeta. At the end everyone ends up participating in the battle. is a great special, more not as interesting as the "Episode of Bardock".
