Mixed Feelings
Season 1 was a captivating story of a lad coming of age and beginning his journey.
Season 2 continues the story of William G Maryblood as a Lord and Paladin.

Main issues I find as the story continues is that as the story progresses, William's motives and drive becomes much more whimsical and fictional. A fantasy character with no flaws. He becomes less human as the story progresses. A device to drive the story rather than an actual character with strife and challenges. A mythical hero that's been embellished so much so that they don't seem to actually exist like the songs written about him.

Despite the mountain ...

A rather decent anime with a good budget. Enjoyable to watch, but ratings seem to be rather conflicted due to many upset novel readers. Overall, as someone who never read the source material, the show did fine in terms of storytelling even if bits felt rather fast. Ultimately, one of the downfalls of this story came down to pacing issues which was much to do with covering too much too quickly.

It was fun to watch and made me invested enough to start reading the light novel.

I wouldn't consider the negative reviews too heavily when deciding upon this as the animation quality is rather ...

It was ok.

This is a non-canon work set between season 1 and 2. It was fun to watch, but nothing substantial nor additive to the series. What most would consider "fanservice". If you're a fan of the series and want a lil more, this is it, but as something concrete to the series, it didn't add nor take away anything from it. Overall enjoyable, but rather forgettable. Would not recommend if you're not a big fan as it would just feel like a whole load of nothing sandwich.

I would put this on the same levels as the Hot Spring OVA and the Beach ...

Dunmachi is a series that grew as a whole over time and you witness the growth of the creator along with the growth of the characters in this intricately built universe. Like a dinner course, you start with appetizers, salads and soup that get you vested and the main dishes blow you out the water. A gradual progression of the story that pulls you in and at the end leaves you satisfied and reminiscing on each of the flavors that added up to give you a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

The tale of a hero, as endless as time is served to you in ...

Re:Creators (Anime) add
Some spoilers, but I can not recommend this anime to anyone unless it's for the sake of how to not write a story.

Re:creators starts off with a very interesting, yet delicate and difficult to accomplish premise. They introduce many characters from a variety of different genres. Ignoring the visuals and voice acting, which are both high quality, the story itself is a complete disaster. Far too many convenient plot devices and asspulls that are only used to sway the audience.

They tried too many things and made the antagonist so strong that the story could only be finished a certain way, which lead to a ...

D.C.: Da Capo (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Da Capo is one of those series that never really stood out outside of its time. It was popular enough to get a second season, as well as a sequel, and a second season of the sequel. However, don't let that fool you into believing this series is as good as the amount of seasons they threw out. Overall, the anime was a good watch with mostly comedy with some underlying plot. They weren't able to really express each of the heroines features as well as they should have. But, for its time, it was probably the best thing out at the time as it ...
