Seizei Ganbare Mahou Shoujo Kurumi is a comedy parody of Mahou Shoujo (Magical Girl) Genre.

There are 3 reasons to watch this anime:

1. This anime is only 4 minutes per episode, so u basically wont lose that much time watching this anime. Tbh i actually love short anime, like Teekyuu and Saiki Kusuo. As they always straight to the points, and no pointless scene.

2. This anime has absurd wacky style of comedy, my favorites kind of humor. Its kinda similar to Nichijou and Senyuu style of comedy.

3. Well i just love cute loli anime. And Azuchimomoyama is damn cute.
... Story/Plot:
Each episode plot is usually about something silly happens in the beginning, then silly monster appears and introduce itself, and ended with the monster destroyed in silly way. Yeah everything in this anime is silly and wacky, as this anime has absurd wacky comedy style similar to Teekyuu and Senyuu. Oh, and there are always trio guys, Azuchimomoyama's schoolmates who doing funny tsukkomi in the background.

Characters:
Azuchimomoyama Kurumi: She is Prima Angel Pink, and the primary mc. She is pictured as silly cute girl, and the one who doing the magical girl parody the most. She uses all kind of gory weapons to destroy the monster, like Thorn Staff, Saw Blade, and Morning Star. She is over all just so funny, and the one who carries this show.

Sangenshoku Mizugi: She is Prima Angel Blue. She wears glasses and looks like a shy bookworm girl. In episode 9 Azuchimomoyama coerces her to become a Prima Angel. She uses sword and knife as weapons.

Yushuehima Mikan: She is Prima Angel Orange. She has short hair and speak in Kansai accent. She mysteriously appears in episode 10, without any introduction beforehand. She uses all kinds of guns and pistols as weapons.

Trio Tsukkomi:
Isamu (red clothes): He is usually the ones who got captured by enemy and the one who wants to see Azuchimomoyama's panties the most. He usually gives positive exaggerated tsukkomi.
Kiyoshi (blue clothes): He is the one who usually gives neutral tsukkomi.
Shigeru (yellow clothes): He is the one who wore glasses and looks like the most intelligent of the trio. He usually gives negative critic tsukkomi.

Art and Sounds:
This anime has nice pastel colors animation. Everything in this anime is designed to look somehow cutes, even the monsters.
The Opening Song of this anime is pretty awesome. It is so catchy. I am not bored and truly never skip the OP in each episodes I watch.
The Ending Song are just silly weird song sung by the trio tsukkomi. Well, it is pretty funny if you listen once in a while. But you might get bored easily if you listen it in every episodes.

Enjoyment:
Yeah I enjoy this anime very much. Even I got truly sad when the subtitler stops releasing the subtitles after episode 9 for several months. I try watching this anime in the youtube with youtube auto-translator, but the result is horrible. Well, what I want to say is, I truly damn love this anime, as much as I love Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan and Senyuu..

Overall: This is awesome short anime. It is truly funny but still has a great concept. I truly recommend you to watching it. But try not to binge it as you will get bored easily that way. Try to watch like max 3 episodes per day, so you can appreciate this anime, and won't get bored too.

Holy sh*t... I am so surprise when seeing this pure gem anime get ~6.9 score in MAL, as I know this (and High School Girl) is definitely my AOTS this Summer 2018, even before it was aired. Why I am so sure? Because I have read the manga far beyond the anime finish in chapter 38 (the anime will finish in chapter 24), and each chapter is pure gold, the most funny thing i have read.

Yes. This anime is God Tier Comedy anime, equal level as Gintama, Nichijou, Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou, Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan, and Senyuu.

STORY (based on manga i have read)
Chio ... is a hardcore PC gamer girl. She played Assasin Creed, Fallout, Counter Strike, Payday, PUBG, etc, every nights, thats why she often woke up late to go to school
The plot usually revolve around chio or her friends got trouble and chio try to use her game knowledge to solve the problem, and her way is truly out of the box which make it so funny to watch.

For example one time she got in fight with a bike gang leader and act like assasin and resolve with the gang leader fall in love to her

CHARACTER
Chio: She is a hardcore gamer highschooler, truly imaginative, and creative in resolving the problem she got into. But she is also what you called a little piece of shit. Kinda similar as Gabriel in Gabriel Dropout
Manana: She is Chio best friend. But also a piece of shit like chio. She even dump chio to get a new friend, lie about herself, and call down others, but it always backfired.
If i want to make comparison Chio and Manana relations is same as Mio and Yuuko relations in nichijou

SOUND and ART
Who care about these superficial things. Watch and judge Anime only by its STORY and CHARACTERS.
Oh, expect a lot of over the top animations similar to Nichijou.

ENJOYMENT
If you enjoy the God Tier Comedy anime above, and not an elitist. You should be able to enjoy this anime, as much as I enjoy the manga version;

I purely make this review so more people will eager to watch this gem and increase the average score at least to 9.00

Update Review
After watching whole 4 Episodes here's what I think about the anime right now

0. Each episode, the show only cover two chapters in the manga (yes each manga chapter is pretty long around 30+ pages). And as there are only 12 episodes of this anime and I already read till chapter 38. So basically I already knew all the plot of this anime till finish, and there are still many chapters in the manga which won't be covered in this anime. So, maybe this show will get season 2 (I hope so). Or if you are not that patient to wait for season 2, try reading the manga around chapter 25 after this show is finish.

1. Idk why the show kinda made some character breast look bigger and bouncy which truly degrade this anime as it made this anime seems like worthless ecchi anime, which is totally isn't. So I hope you just disregard this thing as this doesn't exist in the manga.

2. I don't think the VA for Chio and Manana fit their characters as their voice is too expressionless and soft. For me Chio and Manana should sound like Mio and Yuuki from Nichijou respectively. But I try to watch Dub Version too and I think even though the VA Sounds more like adult than a teenager, their voice has more expression and more fit for the role. So I recommend to try the Dub version too.

3. Here is the detail of other important characters in this show
a. Andou: He is previously a bike gang leader, but then he falls in love with chio and quit from his gang, and try to get other job, such as working as Newspaper Delivery and Minimarket Cashier. He also has a super annoying gradeschooler little sister who like to "kancho" other people and become Chio nemesis.

b. Hosokawa Yuki: She is the first girl who become chio and manana's friend. From outside she looks like a kind role model students, but inside she is actually a naturalist (read: exhibitionist)

c. Shinozuka: She is the girl who watch the students entering school gate every morning. She falls in love with the teacher who also watch the gate with her, and asks Chio and Manana for advice, then become the 2nd Chio and Manana's friend. She is truly piece and kind hearted girl. One time Chio teachs her to kill other people in PUBG, but instead she teachs every people there to have fun by inventing other game there such as play hide and seek, dance, soccer. And after every people satisfied and disconnect, she won the battle royale without killing any single person.

TBH I have been really waiting in eager for this anime to come out exactly one year. Why?

Because the 1st season of Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan is really funny as hell, kinda the same as nichijou or gintama level comedy.

This is the series that i still like and read in shounen jump, after i drop almost all shounen series as i feel they are too childish now. Too bad the Saiki Kusuo manga ends this March 2017 though, but anyway I have read so far in the saiki kusuo manga that i can guarantee you the story in Saiki Kusuo season 2 is ... still as funny and as good as season 1.

Well, let's stop the rant and start the review:

STORY:
The story continues the 1st season, so i really recommend and urge anyone who want to watch this show to finish the 1st season first in order to reconize the characters . Anyway, the story is still about Saiki Kusuo, an OP psychic that just want to have a peace common life, but always get disturbed somehow, either because of his family or his school friends.

The promise is really simple. But what makes this anime shine is because of the comedy from the situation occured and how the characters handle it.

Oh, and in season 1 the show is actually 5 minutes long per episode, but in this season 2 the show is 24 minutes long, consist of 4 separates stories that sometimes connected.

CHARACTERS:
Well, here are what makes this anime so great. Because it has so many peculiar/interesting characters. Aside from the unique characters from 1st season, such as Nendou the aho, Kaido the chuuni, and Teruhashi the perfect bishoujo, in this season 2 it will introduce several new characters:

Aiura Mikoto (a real fortune teller, that become Teruhashi real rival to get saiki's love), Rifuta Imu (just another Teruhashi rival who wants to be the most popular), Satou Hiroshi (a perfect normal guy that saiki idolized and obsessed with), and Akechi Touma (Saiki's childhood friend who wants to prove that saiki is a real psychic).

Well, some people and even i might complain that it was a bit forced to introduce a new characters to the show, maybe because of the auhor lacks the inspiration to make a funny plot based on existing characters. But, i just put it aside, as long as the show still funny and the characters will stay in the show and not just somehow disappear, I won't give any complain.

For the characters, based on manga that i have read, Aiura Mikoto will be one of my favorite characters in this season 2. At first, I have a bit negative thinking about her, as i kinda dislike Gyaru type girl, but after more story revealed, i won't spoil it for you, but she actually deserve to be Teruhashi real rival to get saiki's love.


SOUND and ANIMATION: well, i never decide to like or give score to an anime based on these, as i watch fo the story and characters.
But for sound, I actually kinda hate the OP song as there is characters dialogue inside it that made it really weird and can't be enjoyed, the ED song is okay though.
For the animation, i dont think this anime is any special but I dont have any complain with the story animation, instead i have complain about the title sequence background as it made me cringe so bad with the bishounen theme, especially the bishounen nendou.


ENJOYMENT: well, i come to watch the anime for pure enjoyment and finish satisfied. Based on 1st season, this show really nailed in the comedy aspect. I always laugh in each episodes. I always finish the anime smiling, and cannot wait to see the next episode.

OVERALL: This is one of the best anime in comedy genre. And for me it is even better than gintama in some aspects.

Other than this show isnt too vulgar as gintama, what makes this anime better than gintama is how Saiki Kusuo ends the plot story without always become a boring action and tearjerker. In gintama formula always start the plot with so much comedy, but it usually always ends it with something sad/bad happen and end with gintoki saves the day with his cringy shounen plot armored action, which usually i always just skipped over, as i come to watch the anime for the laugh and not the melancholy. And this anime is so much better than gintama in this aspect.

I made this early review because I feel this anime is clearly underappreciated in MAL, as it only had 7.18 rating by 2070 members at the time this review is writen. So, I encourage anyone who have not watch this gem to just try watching the 1st episode, i am sure you will want more.

Story: The story is about 3 cute girls having adventure around their city. They create Colors team with the purpose to protect their city. They play game, solve detective case, tease cop, or just take a nap together in their hideout. Well, the story may not seem that special, but the ... way the girls carry out the story is what make it so special.


Characters: Here is the part that shine the most from this anime. Well, you may have seen a lot of "cute girls doing cute things" anime, but what make this anime become different is the 3 girls characters are acting like a real life girls in their age, which is around 9-10 years old. They are all act so naive, simple, and just having fun, but still have their own interesting personality.

Kotoha is the blue haired girls that always play her portable game console whenever wherever. She has a long hair and always wore hat which change in each occasion. Her personality is kinda twisted, as she always act like detective or spy, and sadistic to her friends sacchan. But she is overall still a kind little girl, and kinda act as a brain in their team. She is probably the best girl of this season for me, as i really love her attitude which always so cute and full of surprise, for example when the group found a locked safe and her friends hope it contains treasure or jewel, but she hope it contains human pinky or ear.

Sacchan is the yellow haired girls who is so hyperactive and act on impulse. She is the one who like doing mischievous act, and act as a push for her team to do something. One time she tease a random guy in akihabara asking his game console or she will scream.

Yui is the brown haired girls who the girls choose as their leader. She is little bit shy, and the one who really acts as a normal little girls in their age. She cried when the cop scold them, threaten them with Grenade launcher, and when she is told that the only way nature can be saved is by wiping out mankind. She act as a stopper in their team from doing something excessive. And she is probably the kindest girls in the world.

Art and Sound: well, i never decide to like or give score to an anime based on art and sound. But for me the art of Mitsuboshi Colors is really amazing, they display the background kinda like in real Ueno Prefecture, the place and stuff that exist in the anime also exist in real life, such as the panda box, the police office, the bakery, etc. The characters animation is kinda similar to anime Strawberry Marshmallow but with overall improvement.

For the sound, I think it is also pretty good, with its overall cheerfulness theme. The OP and ED song is really amazing with the 3 girls VA as the singer, especially I really like the opening song as i rewind it so many times til i am bored.

Enjoyment: yeah, this is the anime with full of enjoyment. Just watching the girls having fun adventure, made me forget my real life problem and reminiscing my childhood. And watching the girl cuteness somehow made me want to make my own. Jk.

Overall this is anime with a lot of cuteness and fun, no drama, and no excessive characters emotion plot which is usually happen and ruin other cute girls doing cute things anime. Oh, and for bonus this anime is also full of high quality meme material.

I've watched almost every anime listed in MAL, but this is my first time i really want to write a review here, special for this pure gem.

Story: After watching so many anime of course it is so hard to find a new anime with a fresh plot. As listed in synopsys, this anime is about 2 girls journey in post apocalyptic world. What makes the story special is because of the nihilistic life lesson that the girls discuss from what they experience in their journey, meeting new things, people and even robot.

Character: This probably what makes me falling in love with this anime because ... of the 2 main characters, Chito and Yuuri. Chito is always try to be rational even though she is so shy. And Yuuri who is so eccentric, and somehow always found a way to almost kill chito accidently. The interaction between the two is pure gem. They help each other to stay positive in the end of the world, where almost nothing is positive.

Enjoyment: Well, i am 100% enjoy watching this anime. Even though the atmosphere if this anime is kinda dark kinda similar to Made in Abyss anime, but the Yuuri and Chito interaction always lifted the mood. They discuss heavy life lesson, such as the meaning of life, hope, happiness, and even about God, with simple thought from their experience. Even though i usually don't like philosophy anime but it doesnt really a bother for me, as they present it lightly and wrap it with comedy from Chito and Yuuri, which always give me smiles afterward.

Art and sound:
I never grade an anime based on art and sound, because for me the core of anime are the plot/story and characters.

In term of art I think this anime is pretty good as you could even guess what is in the blurry background perfectly, even people could know the type of war weapon and machine that the duo passed in the journey. Well with the Characters moe blob design, I think this is also perfect to lift the mood and make me reminiscing Hidamari Sketch anime.

Well, for sound I'm pretty sure this anime has best quality in this section, as I always hear people compare this anime has soundtrack as good as Made in Abyss anime, which is already famous for its soundtrack. Not to mention this anime has Inori Minase as Chito VA, Opening and Ending singer, also there is an insert song where the characters sing together with rain.

Overall: Probably the best way to describe this anime is: this is the fusion of Made in Abyss, Kino no Tabi, and Hidamari Sketch.

Out of all anime ever made till now, this is my favorite in Slice of Life genre. This anime makes me cry and laugh, give me hope in hopelessness, and teach me that everything will be fine even though nothing is fine.
