This movie to me is just so charming. It's really cute and that's about all there is to it. It's a fluff-filled romance, not much drama, and not much action. It's the type of movie you'd watch in bed at night to wash away stress. The story, as well as the characters, are simple, making for a rather short and simple but still cute movie.

The art was great and was overall very colorful and pleasant on the eyes. There was one setting in particular, the culture club, that I found very enjoyable. There was so much to look at, similar to the way Howls ... room from HMC or the bathhouse from Spirited Away were designed. Studio Ghibli once again pulls through with the art.

As for how enjoyable it was, I remember the first time I saw this movie, I watched it twice in one night and then twice again the next night, and once more the night after that. Safe to say I enjoyed it ':)

Haikyuu is just so easy to love. I was always rooting for both teams on either side of the net, and just generally found myself easily becoming attached to the show. The characters especially, were my favorite part. They're, in my opinion, what makes Haikyuu special. Despite the fact that there are so many characters, each one is distinguishable and unique among the others, mostly in personality. Even among the antagonists or opposing teams, there was always a reason to love each and every character.

The story itself isn't anything special. It's a typical ambitious shonen protagonist but make it volleyball. The art is fine, even ... a little wonky at times. And the sound wasn't all that notable either. So essentially, the characters and how enjoyable it is, are what makeup Haikyuu.

If you're looking for a show not to critique but to love, Haikyuu is for you ':)

Great Pretender is truly unique in many ways. It's filled with so many twists and turns, you'll never find yourself thinking "well this is predictable". It's has a very geometric, colorful, painterly art style which stands out among anime. The diversity in characters and cultures also helps to give Great Pretender a brand new and modern feel.

In terms of story, Great Pretender was kind of like James Bond movies but with more strategy and a little less action. The characters each had unique backstories and motives for being who they were, and I found it interesting to learn about why each of them became a ... conman.

My only gripe with the show would be the decisions made by the director in terms of voice acting. I watched the dub and I found it pretty disappointing that they didn't stick with the rusty English and heavy accents from the first episode. I think it would have been much more immersive and would have helped to sell the fact that each character was of differing ethnicities and backgrounds. The switch from heavy accents to perfect english also completely discredits the "your English sucks" jokes directed at Makoto throughout the whole series, seeing as his voice actor spoke in perfect English past the first 10 minutes.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is extremely chaotic but in a good way. It reminds me of shows I would watch as a kid before I had to go to school. Each episode is generally independent from the others so the rewatch value is high. From start to finish it's packed with wacky characters, funny storylines, and lots of smiles. Now I know that sounds cheesy but Saiki K really is just pure, stupid fun.

The art style was also very fitting for the world of Saiki K, most notably was how colorful it was. each character had a certain color palette that really worked ... to tell you more about the character before you've even really gotten to know them. I must also say, I love Saiki's pink hair and green glasses.

Also, they did speak pretty fast throughout the whole show so unless you're a very fast reader or can understand Japanese, I would recommend the dub. It'll be easier for you to keep up with and enjoy the show.

Basically, If you want a show to turn your brain off and binge, Saiki K is definitely for you :)

This show really isn't all that special when it comes to plot or anything technical but still, it is and will always be my comfort anime. I've found that no matter how many times I watch it, it consistently makes me truly, endlessly happy and to me, that's much more important than being perfect :)

Something else good to note is how amazing the soundtrack is. The ost is all classical music with a very romantic tone. It really added to the overall lighthearted and pleasant feeling. It might have been one of my favorite parts about the anime.

The characters were all pretty, qUiRkY if ... you will, which is really what made the show. It was always so fun watching the ways they interacted with mature, strong-willed, Haruhi. As for the art, it was cute and very fitting to the narrative style of OHSHC. The switch between a very cute chibi style and the fully developed, typical anime style, was always really fun to watch too.

Overall, OHSHC is just a fun, pleasant anime to lift your spirits. It may not be your favorite as it is mine but I promise you that it'll be a time worth remembering.
