I noticed you've finished Yagate Kimi ni Naru manga. i was wondering, in the last scene they were using marriage's rings, are they engaged to each other? Or are they engaged to other people entirely?

Oh, I didn’t realize I was talking to a fellow Pinoy weeb. That’s nice.

Surprisingly, my parents are really progressive in their views and they completely accept me for I am. I guess the hardest part was my own self-acceptance, but I’m comfortable I can finally be who I want to be without fear of holding back (for the most part).

I’ve heard of Nana, though it’s somewhat darker in tone than Bloom. I was going to pick up the manga at some point, but I think it was an abandoned project that never got a proper conclusion.

I can see why it would be such a relatable show to you. It also struck a chord with me because I was in denial about my attraction to women back when I was still a teen, and I’d come up with all sorts of rational excuses to convince myself that I wasn’t actually “in love.” Kind of makes me wish I’d seen Bloom way back when I was such a misguided closeted gay lol
