tbh, when I rated Big Order and a lot of the other shows that people commented below, such as Highschool DxD, it was before my tastes developed. Actually, before I read the reviews, I was giving Seisen Cerberus: Ryuukoku no Fatalités and that other crummy anime that aired that season an 8. Although I'm not going to change my rating because I base it off of my enjoyment at the time of watching, you are probably right that it is not very good. Having said that, though, one thing you really should understand is that people have different tastes and people don't always rate something based on the average.

As far as Re:Zero goes, yes, I thought the beginning was kind of stupid and I wish they explained why he was sent there other than a lurking 'witch' who NEVER got presented in the span of the anime, but for 23 episodes, I was incredibly entertained, more than any other anime I have ever seen except for maybe Clannad (first subbed anime I've ever watched) and maybe the first half of season 1 of Sword Art Online. I gave Re:Zero a 10 because although they messed up with the concept of the witch and although the last episode was terrible, that anime was in-fact incredibly written and it hands down is a 10.

Also, real quick, here's a break down of my ratings:
1 or 2 - Pure garbage and boring
3 - I've never given a 3 so I don't know.
4 - Disliked from the start
5 - Dropped because i didn't like it.
6 - Borderline dropping
7 - Enjoyable
8 - Crave to watch it
9 - Emotionally moving (happy, sad, exciting)
10 - Best damn anime I've ever seen.

WE NEED IT NOW, GIVE US THE MOOOVIE.

I've heard that kimi no na wa is a big success in Japan, so I would also like to watch that sometime soon. I have the time to watch anime, but recently I have been slacking (to the point where I still have not completed re:zero XD). Any recommendations?
