This is a biased review, so if you are looking for some objectivity, I suggest you skip my review.
After ignoring this series since I first saw snippets of it, I just finished watching it and I really find it very heart melting that it leaves me wanting more. I do not know how to describe this but there is a dull pain somewhere inside me because I have finished the series (which is a common recurring feeling for me whenever I finish a series that I like), so I am just cathartically sharing all of these in this review (I have also post this in
...
the subreddit of r/MitsuboshiColors).
I would say that it is an understatement for me to say that I loved the last episode and found it extremely wholesome, especially with the "recording" that they were making at the beginning. it shows their playful interaction with the entire town, making me feel so down-to-earth that anyone can find joy, warmth - a place you can call home - anywhere as long as you have good and supportive friends, family, and community members who will stand with/by you.
I am bit in a bad shape lately, as i have a lot of issues with my family, work, health, and future. but this series came into my life in a perfect timing where I kinda feel like I just want to live my life in an autopilot. I am not saying that this anime gave me a new and fresh perspective in life, but I am just saying that this anime gave me the "chill, positive, pure orange energy" that I haven't felt in the longest time. In short, this was a "breather" series for me in this time of my life.
I am sure that there are a lot of similar anime series just like Colors, and they are probably as good as this one (or even better), but this series will always have a special place somewhere beneath my heart.
yeah, i do not know but that's about it.

Now, I am definitely biased here but I just cannot express all of my delight for this manga into words. I have been searching for a yuri manga/anime that has a perfect balance of romance, comedy, "ecchi"-ness, seriousness, and an overall interesting conflict for a plot, but most of them lacks one thing, not well balanced, too heavy, too light, or simply lacks naughtiness (I am sorry but this is just me). This manga is definitely the one I am searching for since I became acquainted in the yuri genre (thanks to Citrus).
I wrote this review after reading chapter 22, and the story is
...
something that seems to be definitely unpredictable so far since it leaves the uncertainty of Ichika and Aria's future. The author did a good job leaving that hanging and uncertain and not just some throw away plot where you know at the end that they will live happily ever after. I also become fond of the art as all of the characters are well-drawn, consistent and so cute (lol).
I know I suck at writing reviews, but I just want to express my love for this manga. I generally am not a fan of long manga series but this manga is definitely something that I wouldn't mind reading along. I am really sorry about my awful review.

This is probably one of the most heart-melting manga I have ever read. It is my first time reading an anthology, so the experience for me was fresh.
To give you a background, this is a manga composed of short stories about yuri relationships. Some ranges from almost 10 pages while some had 2 pages only. I also like the form of this book in the sense that it resemble this Filipino literature called "Dagli" which are shorts stories usually complied as an anthology. It wouldn't bore you of its long confusing plots (if you are not into those kinds of things) plus it will
...
make you keep wanting more (but that is the end of it which seems like a tease - but I like it!) What I really liked about this entire anthology is the idea that there are times that the most wholesome and heartfelt experiences in any kind of relationships (not only on same-sex couples, and it could also be on friendships and so on) can be the small things that you admirably cherish from time to time.
I also like the majority of the plots where it showcases the awkwardness and tension built-up from the confessions of each character with each other. I honestly brought me back to college where I first developed my serious feelings towards anyone.
My favorite stories were "You Did Well" by Saya Fuyume, and the "Oblivious You" by Mizuasou. I don't want to tell the plot, but it really knocked my feet off. If you're into some short but sweet, wholesome, cute yuri without any NSFW or sexually explicit themes, this is for you.

I had so many laughs reading this manga, which I enjoyed a lot. The story follows an amateur illustrator developing romantic feelings towards her diehard fan. The story would continue as they try to validate and figure out this newly-found love towards each other, as their relationship seems to be rushed and sounds "too-good-to-be-true".
I like how the author acknowledges that their relationship seems to be rushed (they were truly starstrucked by each other), and then chose to revolve around that topic. I personally picked-up a lot of insights from this manga about myself as I somewhat relate to Aizawa-san as she tries to find
...
any good qualities about herself for Misumi-san to like her, but their relationship taught me that love is something that is unconditional. When a person truly has feelings for you, you do not need to show an inappropriately extravagant amount of love, status, power, and skills to prove yourself to that person because love is simply unconditional. It is more of a decision that you chose and a decision that you commit yourself despite the uncertainties that lies ahead of it.
I am not going to lie that the plot would seem predictable from there on (hence the 7 rating), as the story would sometimes twist the readers expectation (Misumi decides to stay away from Ai to not foster a sense of extreme dependency towards her), but I still liked it anyways. Ai's office scenes were extremely funny alongside with her co-worker, and the jokes about Ai and Misumi's relationship is a crime really gets me every time (Ai is 10 years older than Mismumi, and Misumi is a 2nd year HS student). I am really looking forward to read more of this.

For some reason, I am really attracted to yuri plots like this, where there is this woman who fells in love with a married/committed woman who is in a loveless marriage or relationship.
For me, the entire plot was liberating itself as we saw Ayako Asano feeling burdened to all the pressures that her husband's family impose upon her, not to mention that she also recently found out that her husband was having an affair. On the other hand, her subordinate Saori Fujimura is willing to give everything to her and admires her for who she really is.
I think I have given the entirety
...
of the plot so I am not going to say anymore than that. It is undeniable that I suck at reviewing things that I like, but I really enjoyed this manga. I have to agree with the review of KraterMan that the plot seemed to be rushed, but I still like it nonetheless.

I have been searching for any Yuri Romance Comedy for a while now, and I came upon this somewhat unfinished work. I know for sure that this would be really popular if this becomes an anime series.
I am really bad at retelling plots, and I do not want to tell the entire story because I have only read 4 chapter of it so far so I can only tell what I like about the manga. The plot does not focus on sexual tensions just like your common yuri plots, but the plot appears so organic and down-to-earth to me.
It is about two women, Komori
...
and Yamanobe, who are both working as an HR employees in company, where they try to live their everyday life and solve problems with their work, relationships, and love. Just like what I have said that the plot appears organic and down-to-earth, I even consider this to be a slice-of-life that revolves around the dynamics between a boss and her subordinate without any forced chemistry between them.
I am bad at expressing the things that I like, but I really liked this manga. It is such a shame that it only has 4 chapters (as far as I know), but if the author of this manga decides to continue this arc, I would definitely continue reading it!
