This is my credo when watching anime. I either like it or I drop it. You won't find series rated under 7 here (6 is for mistakes).
RATING
10 = unapologetically obsessed, no objective standards anymore, will forever hold a place in my heart
9 = would have been a 10 but there was some fuckery too big to let pass
8 = does the job well, satisfying entertainment, would recommend
7 = it was watchable but not worth recommending, some fun moments but it never really took off N.B. also valid for controversial series that I ended up getting attached to but could not recommend bc of some serious flaws.
6 = should have dropped it but realised too late and ended up finishing it, very generic or quite cringe but some parts could be saved
