I think the characters have been given a lot of plot convenience. The plot presents itself as this impossible mission and Takemichi is able to succeed by... going to the bathroom? He escapes a planned assassination by trying to pee. He wasn't stealthy about it at all. Weren't the killers following him? This is just one example of many.
yeah I'm also doing (uni) exams at the moment! have my last one in a couple days so am also just trying to get through so I can watch things without feeling guilty as hell lmao
yeah NZ has some modern areas, like we have cities like Auckland, Wellington etc. which are your typical cities with high rises etc. NZ small towns are really typical small towns though- basically grass fields, farms, a town centre which has a dairy, library and stuff & everyone knows everyone. people really do walk around barefoot, the Kiwi accent is super strong lmao. NZ is a very beautiful country though, like people come here for the incredible nature and there's always so much to see literally everywhere. you know, like our least popular beaches would probably be a main attraction in a US state lmao. it's stunning here.
& yes!! I love travelling, it's my absolute favourite thing to do and if I could do it forever I would. my goal is to go to every US state, and every country in Europe lol. I've been to 4 US states - all of Hawaii like 6x times since we own a house there, basically all of California, and have also been to Arizona and Nevada too (for the Grand Canyon + Las Vegas). have also been to Australia multiple times (it's pretty common for most New Zealanders to have been there as it's pretty close to NZ). although I'd never live in America, it's been my favourite place to visit purely because there's so much to do, and when they do everything in their culture, they do it so BIG lmao. like, I was in San Francisco for New Years and the fireworks display was crazy.
that's absolutely wild to me that you live in Europe and haven't been to other countries - why not take a train and visit some? is there a reason you/your family haven't travelled (COVID aside)? if I lived in Europe, I'd be hopping on trains everywhere whenever I could haha.
I just googled Zaknythos, & holy shit that place is beautiful. damn, I’m so jealous lmao. the life you lived in a Greek beach town is what people dream of lmao. you win hands down for the most unique place anime has reached on here so far (that I’ve talked to at least). has your family always lived and grown up in Greece? omg, do you speak Greek?
that’s also so funny to me that the one Greek person I speak to hasn’t seen Mamma Mia. tbh I don’t even think it was filmed in Greece, but I think Croatia? (have you also been to other countries besides Greece? lol, I’m so intrigued).
& hell yeah Colin Firth, who doesn’t love him honestly

I'm simply sharing my opinion.
