Although I have only read 3 chapters as it's unfinished, this would be the best manga I have ever read. Better than any book or movie.
Never have I felt such a wide variety of strong emotions as I have reading this. The author is incredible and really gets inside the characters mind. The artwork is great and the story itself is a masterpiece.
It portrays how different mind sets deal with life and the problems that occur along the way. It contains some yaoi and slight incest themes, but everyone should read this. Looking foward for the next installment!

All I can say is AWESOME.
Although I was a little disappointed in the lack of boy x boy action (i was quite hopeful...) I still give it 5 stars. Its a great story, good characters with alot of laughs and some evil shadow butt-kicking. Highly recommended

When I first started watching this, I was tempted to turn it off because the animation style was very unusual and it took me a little while to get used to. I'm very glad I stuck with it, as it turned out to be quite a good watch. It's about a young boys summer adventures with a ghost from WW2. Very different from anything you would expect, and I highly recommend it.

Sukisho, where to start... This would have to be my all time favourite anime. The story is fairly original I felt, with a good dose of humour that sort of masks the dark undertones so it's not a depressing anime. It's a story of friendship and love, but also cruelty and revenge. I recommend this to everyone, even if boy x boy isn't your thing, it's only light shounen ai and is still a great watch.

Elfen Lied is a rare masterpiece. Underneath the blood, gore and nudity is a touching but tragic tale. Friendship, loss, the cruelty the humans and what it means to be humane are totally pushed over the boundaries. The music fits perfectly with the series. This is not for the faint of heart, but it won't leave you disappointed.

Despite the negative reviews, i decided to watch it anyway... to my suprise i really enjoyed it.
The story concept and the characters weren't overly original, but I still found it an interesting watch with a couple of laughs and a bit of shock factor thrown in. I would recommend it for those wanting to kill some time. |
