...then you might like Gungrave add

Gungrave and Cowboy bebop has so much alike that I even doesn’t know how to start! -Seinen: there both seinen stories so it goes a bit slow but it is soo beautiful. -fights and guns: the fighting style is almost the same! both has incredibly amusing fight scenes that doesn’t take long and doesn’t make the story on its own. Guns also plays an important part in both of the fights of these stories. -Jazz, Blues: They both have an extremely good OST. where Jazz and Blues is used in the right way. -Friendship: The friendship between the characters is so beautiful to see. But this aspect is way better in Gungrave. -Good persons but seen as bad guys: Lots of the personages are good in our point of view but in reality almost no one thinks good of the maffia or bounty hunters there. -mysterious characters: Both main characters are kinda mysterious because they don’t talk that much. Especially in Gungraves. This brings a total different story where impressions and emotions does more than words! -ending of an episode: This is maybe more personal but They ending of an episode is approached in the same way. But it is kinda difficult to explain (sorry). So there is a pretty big chance if you’re a Cowboy Bebop fan you will enjoy Gungrave as well. Though I don’t think that every Gungrave fan like Cowboy Bebop

...then you might like Bakuman. add

They are from the same writers, that is why they are written in kinda the same style. Okay Bakuman isn't as dark and psychological as death note, so if that is what you've been searching for then you're at the wrong recommendation. However a lot of elements are similar to Death Note. First of all the story similarities aren't that special, however they both start with their view of live. And though they think they're going to become successful later they both see the life as "a pain in they ass". Later on you see that they both found something that brought excitement to their life. From that excitement a Dream/ideal grows where the protagonist would do everything for to accomplish it! Then the characters are very alike to. The way both protagonist fights for their dreams/ideals is very alike. But the best part they have in common is there antagonist/rival. L is surely someone special. Well I don’t think that Niizuma Eiji should yield to L. They’re both special in there own way. Just like I like L with his special habits and the way he thinks do I like Niizuma Eiji with his special habits and especially the way he draws. He is so lively when he draws. The way he empathize with the characters while drawing and reading manga. It is so funny to see him read/draw manga! The way he is always correct with anything about manga is just superb. The fact that you like the rival even more than the protagonist(s) (While you still like the protagonist that much) is really a special way to experience a serie. That is a feeling that i only had with those to series. Then one last thing. They are both freaking exciting to watch, though they don't has any (real) fights. That is why i think that these series has expanded the shounen genre.

...then you might like Steins;Gate add

Seto and Okabe are quite alike they both made up a conspiracy theory, they are both awkward to strangers, have a bit of a wrong view on the society and they both have their group where they can be themselves. These series have something big simular in the end but guess if I tell that it is considered spoiling. and except all of this, these are just 2 big masterpieces.

If you liked Steins;Gate add

...then you might like Mirai Nikki (TV) add

These animes has one very similar aspect, but with one big difference. In mirai nikki you know your future, in steins gate you know your past. They know how to change their future in mirai nikki and they know how to change their past in steins gate. But what they both do not know is what will happen if they change it. Even the fact if you make it worse or better is never clear. Of course you can always think that it cannot get any badder. The other fact is that they know their past and future immediately after that. So they can change it once more. The big difference is of course future and past in this theorie. Other difference are that steins gate has a more complicated plot and mirai nikki has yuno with all the battles accompanied with all the blood :).
