This show with just watching the first episode is able to show will truly be something special.
story:
We are taken on a journey with this orb who is emotionless and takes on the form of different things, over time it becomes a wolf and becomes acquaintances with a boy. You can see the attachment grow after they spend time together and you get to learn what the boy desires most. After a while, the boy dies and the orb takes his form of him. Now it is on a journey to fulfill the desires of the boy he spent time with, to be able to
...
experience new things, new people, and new emotions.
I really like this premise, I think it’s captivating and this show had such heartbreaking/heartwarming moments and such great stories from the characters. I definitely cried watching this because of how sad it can get, but the lessons Fushi learns throughout the show and the emotions he learns is something cool to watch.
The art
the style is really pretty, there are no complaints here
The sound
it also well done too, I enjoy the op and ending as well as the ost’s which are captivating and are beautiful, they fit with the scenes very well.
characters
I really enjoyed the characters throughout the show, they really helped shape, and impacted fushi a lot. The show makes you, at least for me, attached to the characters even in a short amount of time.
Enjoyment
I feel it brings a really strong and emotional atmosphere to it. Again I truly think this show is something special, definitely something that will pull on your heartstrings and after every end of an episode, it leaves you wanting more! I couldn’t recommend it enough!!!
thank you for reading

Angels Egg is one of my favorite films, i was immediately drawn to it with its eerie atmosphere that it brings and the aesthetically pleasing visuals. I've watched this film three times now and i can confidently say i will watch it many more because of how fascinating it is.
This movie is directed my Mamoru Oshii who is known for including religious symbolism and this movie does just that.
Now the story is about a little girl in a desolate dark and empty world with only her egg as company, with her collecting water jugs along the way. Soon a man approaches her where
...
she at first is scared of and runs away, but soon begins trust him with not doing anything to her precious egg that she loves. The story is slow and could seem like it isn't showing much but if you look deeper you might find a greater story within.
The viewer upon watching is left to decide what to take from the film, what interpretations do they want to make? It all up to you whether or not you want to think hard about this movie or just enjoy the visuals it provides without thinking too much about the dialog, which is very little. One thing is clear where there is Christian symbolism shown, this is apparent where the Man talks about Noah's ark to the little girl.
The art is pretty and had a gothic style to it with using a color palette of mostly blues and blacks helping set up the mood.
The sound did a great job as well with creating a eerie atmosphere and fitting well with scenes.
The characters were mysterious and fascinating. They bring many questions to the viewer where not much is reveled about them personally but the only thing we know for certain is about the little girl and her love for her egg. You might be asking why she cares so much for the egg and could it represent anything? Well i have my own thoughts and interpretations of this, where perhaps the egg is something that keeps her trapped with this desolate world and she doesn't want it to be shattered. The guy asks her why not break it to find out what's inside, which she refuses to do because perhaps she doesn't want her hopes or dreams about what's within the egg to be shattered, to be shown reality. She holds onto her egg like she's holding onto her hopes and dreams. Mamoru Oshii said something similar as well in an interview about this movie, it's interesting how something so simple as a little girl protecting an egg could mean so much more then that if you think deeper then what is shown.
Angel's Egg is a film filled with different interpretations and allegories trapped within, even though i did include some thoughts the director said, he also said this as well “When it comes down to it, I think the director doesn’t know everything about the movie. Everyone always thinks if you want to know something, talk to the director. I don’t think that’s true. I think the answer lies inside every single viewer.” You can take his thoughts into consideration or you can make out what you think of the movie all on your own, it's really up to you.
If you don't mind more obscure films and you enjoy taking a deeper look into what the movie might be portraying then this is a fantastic watch. It does a very good job to keep you hooked even with the movie including very little dialog you also have beautiful and aesthetic visuals and fitting music to go along with it.
thank you for reading !

as someone who doesnt like sports anime that much this one really caught my eye and made me have some love for this genre
(when this show ends i will edit for anything i might want to add)
Sk8 infinity caught my eye when i saw this was coming out, i did take me awhile to actually start watching it but oh my am i glad i picked it up.
I was first drawn to the characters and their design i really like how they look and also how each person has a unique board just for them. Right away from the first episode it starts
...
off exciting with a skateboarding race. The races are very fun and entertaining to watch i never found this part boring the characters always pull off some cool moves along the way to make it to first place.
Now lets start with the story, it basically about the main character Reki who befriends the new transfer student Langa, he shows him the world of skateboarding and the place where they hold races, and with entering one race himself he wants to know how to skateboard who Reki is more than happy to teach him. Other fun characters get introduced in the show too and seeing their character relationships was interesting. The show can seem a little predictable at times but that didn't really throw me off because it still made itself entertaining. Seeing the character relationships were fun to watch, to learn why some fell apart or watch friendships grow. To see jealously with a friend because they seem like a better skateboarder than you and you feel like your being left behind. Being able to see these characters work through jealousy and rivalries is fun and interesting to watch.
Lets get into the art. I really enjoyed the art style for this and the whole street art aesthetic its really cool and pretty. The animation is nothing to complain about it does its job really well providing a clean, beautiful, and cool looking show.
The sound i would say fits the whole atmosphere of the show really well, i like the op a lot i even added to my anime op and ending playlist as well! the ost do a good job as well throughout the show to set the right tone for each scene.
Now the characters. I love characters a lot, to see them grow and develop especially with Reki (which i have yet to see more progress bc i havent finished quite yet) I think a lot of the characters are lovable and your sure to have a favorite out of them!
My enjoyment is a 9/10, that even surprised me when again im not the biggest fan of sports anime. My problem with sports anime is it gets repetitive and boring and sometimes doesnt focus too much on the characters, and i know why its repetitive its bc your watching a sport so of course the sport is going to be a main focus. But i didnt feel that repetitiveness with Sk8. It always kept me engaged and entertained and the skateboarding races were exciting and different every time someone knew raced, you never know what new skateboarding trick they will do next! They also focused on the characters and their growth and development which i appreciated., and it was fun to get to see what these characters do outside of skateboarding as well.
Overall i gave it a 8/10 i really do think this show is worth watching, it keeps you entertained and its pleasing to the eyes as well with the whole street aesthetic of it! I would give it a shot even if your not a big fan of sports anime i think this is something you can get into and enjoy :3
thank you for taking the time to read my review ! ^ ^

I was drawn to this show bc of the character design and for my love of the survival action genre, but i found myself disappointed. Another death game to become god, dont get me wrong i love anime with this concept but it just wasn't done great imo. The fan service was unnecessary for a death game type of show, i dont think they were trying to set a serious tone for the show but i feel if they had it would have been a bit better.
The character design i really liked, i loved how the mask design looked and the girl characters as
...
well. The thing i had a problem with was how Mayu and Yuri were willing to die for each other even after knowing the other person for a day or two, i mean i get it bc at first that was the only person they had with them but still. There was a theme of characters willing to trust one another fairly quickly too.
The art was really pretty no complaints about this part of the show
the sound was pretty good i enjoyed the ending more than the opening for this anime
The story was fair enough, they focused on the plot which was interesting enough to want to keep watching the next episode.
Overall i gave this a four which in my case im calling a 4 decent. It left off showing us there will possibly be a second season, now will i watch it im not sure yet. I recommend watching if you enjoy death game anime it is entertaining ill give it that but is it the best death game anime out there i would have to say no.

i first off want to say that i really enjoy Ai Yazawa's work so thats the main reason i started to pick this show up and the fact that I've seen NANA and Paradise Kiss already. The story i enjoyed because it's pretty realistic which makes what happens in the show relatable, and with that it makes it even more moving and emotional to watch and experience. It was fun and interesting to see the story progress and see Mikako going through her struggles whether that was with her designs, her relationships, or family problems it was nice to see her progress as the show
...
went on.
I also enjoyed the other story with Yuusuke, Mariko, and Ayumi (who is introduced later in the show) and seeing how they all progress and what each of them are going through.
The only character i would say i had a problem with is Mariko because of her bratty attitude, it's a little frustrating watching her character progress because she's so stubborn. i was up and down with her, some episodes i liked her and understood her and then there was some episodes where i couldn't stand her and why she was acting the way she was, and the way she talked was a little annoying as well but not that big of a deal.
Now with the art it's to be expected that it's not going to be the best because the show is dated, i like the style of Ai Yazawa's work so i did enjoy that and i loved the designs for the clothing on each character (especially Risa since i have a similar style i really took a liking to her, *sigh i wish the show gave her more attention because i really enjoyed that one episode surrounding her). But anyway back to art, the only big thing i would say i had a problem with is the lipstick i didnt like how that looked on the characters who wore it but over time i did get used to it but still not the best.
Now onto the sound, i really enjoyed the ost i think it really fit with the atmosphere of the show and really helped set the mood for scenes. I enjoyed the op i thought it was really cute and for the endings i only listened to both one time but i remember them both being good.
One problem that got on my nerves a bit was they dragged out scenes for too long and they showed the same scene like which felt like 6 or so more times, i know this is just to show the character thinking about it and for the viewer to be reminded of it but it got annoying that the same scene sometimes got shown more times then i think it should have. Now with scenes being dragged out for too long i also get that they were probably going for setting up the mood and making it more emotional or something like that but for my liking it went on for a bit too long imo. I'm not saying this show is slow paced because i quite enjoy those shows it's just you'll see some scenes being dragged out a bit too long which i think can be a little annoying.
Overall i really did enjoy the show, it was a nice romance drama with more realistic elements! If you enjoyed NANA or Paradise Kiss or Ai Yazawa's work in general then i think that this is a enjoyable watch!

As i start this review i want to say that i instantly found an enjoyment right from the start, i really do think the show keeps you for wanting more and to learn about each characters pasts and secrets.
The story follow Ooto Ai, a shy and awkward girl at first but you see as the story progresses that she opens up and is more confident for seeking out friends. She is now on a journey of fighting monsters in order to save her friend who committed suicide and find out why she did it.
the concept of show is really interesting on how they
...
are going deep into serious subjects and i love how they design the monsters and the whole concept of the characters weapons too! They put a lot of detail into that
The art is beautiful and very pleasing to look at, i really enjoy the character designs and the personality of each of them, it's a cute group of friends.
The ost is very good as well, the opening especially for me i fell in love with, i didn't expect a pretty song like that but I'm glad I got it, it fits really well into the atmosphere of the show.
The fight scenes are not boring whatsoever, by seeing why each person that's in this dream world who whichever of the main characters are trying to protect is there, why did they end up in that position? what is the monster portraying as to the victim they are protecting? It's interesting to me to see all the different types of people and stories, and of course the 4 main characters experiences as to why they are doing what they are doing in the first place
I enjoy all the genres this show is labeled under, especially psychological and talking about more serious subjects. To see each of the 4 main characters battle with their struggles and fight for the people they want to save if that's either for themselves, to not feel guilty, or to simply want the person they care about back, that's all up to them and for us viewers to see how these characters overcome the obstacles in their way.
I would definitely give wonder egg priority a shot, i truly think it's a unique show that draws you in and gives off a certain atmosphere when you watch, well at least for me anyway. I hope i gave you some motivation to try and pick it up!

wow okay i'll start off by saying i'm glad this was only one episode but really there shouldn't have been any at all.
Skelter+Heaven has the worst animation, that squid alien thing was pretty disturbing and during the fight scene i didnt know what was happening half the time. This is definitely one of those anime you will finish and think to yourself "what did i just watch, i really wasted 19 mins of my life for this huh"
I've seen that this is a visual novel, which makes sense bc the whole intro looked like a video game which i assume did much better
...
given there's a lot more time to cover the full story in more detail.
I would say the only decent thing that came out of this was the opening and ending, thats it.
Overall 1/10 for me, worst anime ive seen but hey at least i got one more anime completed on my list there's at least something to get out of this.

Welcome the the NHK is about Satou living as a hikikomori and dealing and struggling with anxiety and depression with blaming this on the evil NHK.
I watched this show in the span on 3 days and it was such a great experience
I really enjoyed this anime because I felt they did a really good job on showing the struggles with depression and anxiety and what kind of thoughts goes through people’s heads. By showing how it’s hard to simply just get out of bed or leave the house because the outside world can seem scary.
I enjoyed the different characters and their story
...
arcs and seeing what they were struggling with and having Satou help them get through it while also learning some valuable things from their experiences.
I love how the show does have its depressing parts it’s also really funny, I had a lot of laughs when watching the show!
The sounds was great! I really loved the opening I never skipped it. With the endings I enjoyed the second one a bit more than the first. The soundtrack fit really nicely with the scenes as well
The art was pretty well done I liked it even though it did struggle a bit sometimes I think it was pretty pleasing to look at and fit with the whole atmosphere of the show
I overall gave this a 10/10 because I think this show does a great job by following Satou in his everyday life struggling with being a hikikomori and how to break out of it with the help of his friends and some realizations. Very outstanding show I had a lot of fun watching and I definitely recommended this!

Given is a very cute and enjoyable shounen ai anime, this was also the first time i gave the music genre a go and it was a very good experience. The story was a cute and simple story but, with discovering the characters and their pasts and struggles, it shows good character development as well that ties the story together and everything well.
i genuinely laughed out loud with this show, i found it very entertaining, like with the characters expressions with the comedic parts was funny and enjoyable.
the sound was well done as well, opening and ending were pretty good along with the
...
song that Mafuyu sang sounded really pretty and well done.
I love the whole shounen ai genre and how they went along with the whole story and shounen ai aspect was done beautifully and in a good pace.
I found an attachment to this show and enjoyed it very much, i decided to pick up the manga of it too!
So if you want to watch a nice story about music and the struggles of the characters and how they overcome them, with also comedic scenes and if you love the whole shounen ai genre i think this show is a very cute and great show to pick up and watch!

This anime’s story seemed like a pretty cool concept, it was different to me so I decided to give it a try. As I continued to watch it I started to feel a bit confused and kind of annoyed, Yuri was someone I was annoyed with the most, like I understand she’s only in sixth grade and she has to deal with aliens it’s just that she contiously cried pretty much every scene she was in. The concept was nice I just don’t think how the anime portrayed the story was very good in my opinion, but maybe if you want something different and maybe
...
even a little weird you can watch this, it’s only 4 episodes so u can finish it in a day, hope this helped if you’re wondering if u should watch or not :)
