What a coincidence that both anime came out together in the same season! Both anime feature the most notorious talker who runs the strongest group. I totally recommend both; the comedy hits just right. One is a bit darker, and the other much more comical. A real good watch!

although the story seems diffrent but here we get a couple that are similar in both anime the pink haired and the black haired guy. theres a contrast in both anime the guy in shikimori is a weakling but in this new anime is a very strong guy. both a corny romance anime.

So both anime is the story of the Support type character or role in a group. basically Shield Hero is a tank. so If you are looking for another tank or shield character after Shield Hero. theres not much option to watch. Shield hero was much more dramatic although this other try was not as intense as shield hero in emotional damage as they are both looked down upon.

Chizuru and Mai share very similar personalities the main difference between the two animes aside from the plot is that Sakuta is smarter than Kazuya. you can see the contrast of a smart dude and a loud crybaby simp. so my recommendation here is learn from Sakuta guys! Kazuya is basically what are the things to avoid doing. What is interesting after watching both anime we can picture a alternative future of Chizuru becoming a celebrity and a better Kazuya a confident smarter guy that knows to have a healthy relationship.

this another anime is the alternative world of naofumi losing control to destroy the world. in tate no yuusha naofumi gets a great emotional damage since btch cause him great trouble but he was geting crazy since he was having hard time but this new anime is a naofumi that gets emotional damage and cat exact his revenge unlike the restriction that naofumi got from being the shield hero a mostly defensive than offensive have him frustrated.
