I kinda love this manga, cause unlike other shoujo mangas, you get to see the perspective of the villain. The manga really showed the realistic truth about unrequited love. I honestly cried for the heroine. She was really pitiful, she really did love sincerely, she accepted their relationship no matter how hurt she was and tried her best to at least appeal to her childhood friend. She stayed by his side as she promised. She really was a good girl even though there are parts were she is bitchy, spoiled, and cruel that's because people do crazy things when their in love. Although you'll get ... annoyed as to why she remained by his side even after he got a serious girlfriend, you'd kinda understand that, that is how unrequited love works, she just couldn't give up without a fight.

what i hate about this manga, is RITA... he think he can both keep Adachi and Hatori, so when he chose Adachi and Hatori has finally had enough, i sighed with relief, I thoroughly wish Hatori happiness.

Hmmm... as of now, I just finish reading the whole manga, and yes I totally enjoyed it...

so here is what I think...

1.) SUPER LOVE the story! the plot was beyond what I expected. It has the same excitement as just any other zombie apocalypse except in this manga they're stuck in a god-forsaken Jurassic park/back to the future theme.
2.) the character development is superb! i love how the mangaka took notice of everyone and develop them subtly and realistically.
3.) the story plot line is outstanding, its idea and concept are fresh and you will totally enjoy reading it. although it's one-dimensional, every chapter has a ... progression. You can say, the manga story grows.
4.) I don't want to say it but, I actually hate the last 5 or 6 chapters of the manga, why? because although the ending is not what I expect it, it was to abrupt and kinda out of this world ending, what I mean is that i think the ending kinda didn't fit the whole story. I hate how he made it to cliffy, it kinda look like the author hastily wanted to end it, and that's why it kinda got lame. Although the last chapters he explained what really is happening and all, but it would have been nice he would elaborate the last 3 years they've spent on the island, so that it would do justice on the manga... but hey, it's just my opinion.

OVERALL I think the manga is great, it was a great read :))) ****HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

It was a great read and I enjoyed it very much.

This manga is a typical "story within a story". It has a one dimensional plot but has sub-stories which makes it progressive and enjoyable to read. The thing I like about it, it stayed simple to the plot and that makes it realistic to read. The thing I hate about it is that the climax took too long to reach which makes it agonizing and the end was a bit disappointing. Although it did have that dramatic flare, it became too pitiful and boring towards the end.

I'd hope for a sequel but I guess it's ... better that it stayed the way it is now.

This is a first for me to actually write a review since I usually keep the comments to myself, but don't get me wrong, I've been loving mangas/animes since way back 90's.

I've watched the anime version and read the mangas version of Inu Yasha this couple of days and there's is one thing I have notice. There isn't much progression at all in the story line and the romance between Kagome and Inuyasha and like any other comment it was a complete drag-on. Don't get me wrong, Inu Yasha is very good, I like the the plot but how it progress is something very irritating. ... Because it was 500+ chapter long( in manga ) I thought I'd be experiencing lots of different arks in the story but, no it stayed the same story line althrough-out the 500+ chapter it released. I'll be honest the first 200 chapter got me hook, it had a bit of progression because it was introducing the other characters of the story but after that It was the same boring chase, it was either Naruka or Kikyou and slowly it got boring. In truth, I was kinda hoping for a dramatic flare to it, like if Kagome got accidentally killed by Inu Yasha or anything. But yeah, it didn't happened. Kagome just appeared martyr and pitiful. Don't mean to bash but that's the truth.

So if you want to read this, I hope you enjoy one dimensional types of mangas :)
