Starts off a nice premise. Show undergoes typical cliches at a decent pacr, and eventually reaches its very predictable ending. It serves as an adequate watch in-between 2 actually artistically driven series, to lower your standards and keep them there.
The two main girls in this show are adequate at best. Yozora portrays more emotion and interesting character within the first 5 minutes of the pilot than she does from there on out til the ending. She is just there to insult Sona and assert her moral superiority over the other girls just as one-dimensional as herself. Sona is also very irritating; an entitled yet extremely

sensitive girl with the preferred look for your avid anime fan (big tits and ass, long blonde hair, blue eyes). All she has to her is to keep Yozora somehow within the diluted plot by staying a punching bag for a barely better written character. Kobato is alright and I really like her voice, the high pitched tone of voice that is common and all too alive within slice-of-life is getting on my nerves no doubt. Gotta include that one out-of-touch character in every anime ever too, right. Maria is annoying, just pure moe. Rika is the one recurring character trope I despise the most in all of anime, you know, the externally geeky and self-contained girl who is (not so) secretly this wild erotica fiend and a huge pervert, how wacky and original right?
Seeing naked children doesn't sit right with me. The nude scenes aren't sexualized further so I won't blindly reduce score for that. Just beware if you are going into this cold turkey and for some unknown reason weren't expecting such from subpar anime.
The male protagonist is decent on the other hand. Unlike with most slice of life/ecchi/softcore (whatever you call it it's been a while since I enjoyed my last 12-EP anime) anime MC's, Kodoka doesn't react to every sexual, weird or creepy comment and gesture like a madman. His character, although rather slowly, does actually go through some miniscule development as the series progresses. Doesn't mean he isn't just as one dimensional, though. Most of the time Kodoka acts accordingly to whatever he faces, like a real human being would given the situations he finds himself tackling. Despite all this he still is a weak protagonist. Throughout the series every last episode and issue can be diluted back to which of the girls is the most competent at ___, not Kodoka himself. The girls constantly mock him for whatever reason as well. His backstory is super generic and not fully fleshed out either.
Character designs are decent, of course the main two girls being easily the most visually pleasing, and the rest of them just kind of hangin' around to elevate Yozora and Suna and for them to stand out and stay recognizable (marketable) in the viewers eyes. Everything else is bland from a visual standpoint. Go search for anime ____ (residence, school, park, literally any general milieu); it'll result with nearly identical settings to the ones presented here.
Like to see a lot of fanservice and naked loli scenes but don't really care for gaping holes in plot, writing, character traits/personality? This is the show for you. And I suppose this caters to a lion's share of weebs so there definitely is an audience.
