For those that wonder about this anime, you might not partially like space-related anime. But I warn you, give this anime an chance. I wasn't too keen on watching this show but I gave it an chance. And guess what? I was surprised that I actually liked it.
People praise this anime saying that this remake was made from an classic of an old anime. Now I see what they were talking about. I agree with them. This anime is awesome!

Story: 10
There is a strong story here. The planet Earth is fighting for it's survival, against an alien threat. Either extinction or slavery. But hope isn't gone for humanity. Battleship Yamato was built, in order, to travel across the universe to the aliens, Iscandarians, who brought a mysterious technology. They made it possible for the humans to build the Yamato. Obstacles are presented throughout their journey, expiring more bits of the story and the puzzle. The story isn't hard to understand but it is nonetheless enjoyable to watch. There are many developments and annoyances that help shape into something more than the simple premise of the story. For the most part, it follows the original plot, I cannot say what but I can say it follows it confidently though. It is not overly confusing or complex - there are also many things that is left for the audience to ponder and wonder so the they are boring them. If you expect more out of the anime and come in with a clear mind, you will be happy and see a flawless anime.

The art was beautiful. Visuals were amazing. It was like a breath of fresh air when compared to other anime. Originality.
Sound: 10
I have no complaints with the sound. It was on point.
Character: 10
There is a big cast of characters in this anime. Sometimes when that happens, it can ruin shows. But this isn't the cast. You see the brave heros, loyal comrades, tragic villains, and whatever else in between. Some characters may seem stereotypical but it soon changes as you watch more. At times, Yamoto, doesn't define the difference and you can sympathize with the enemy, questioning the motives of the heros. It's important that it separates the wheat from the chaff in this aspect. Still, there is a classic story at hand and classic characters. But they are not as hollow and calculable as one more suspicious may come to believe.
Enjoyment: 10
This anime has a lot going for it. The story was awesome. A lot of the music was from the original, which was nice. Characters were awesome and I loved seeing the characters change and grow. There were different types of emotions being experienced.
Overall: 10
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime. I am happy to say I recommend this to anyone because it is that AMAZING. It's an awesome remake of an classic anime. It is very much re-watchable. It deserves the praise that it gets. I hope everyone else enjoys this anime as much as I did.

At first this seem like any typical anime but I gave it a chance unlike most people. I usually watch harems, action, horror, etc.
Not everyone will appreciate this show because they come in with expectations, if you come in clear minded, I assure you will enjoy this anime series.
Story: 7
You'll find a guy named Reiji, who's your average Japanese guy. He was on vacation, enjoying himself. Someone was murdered and witnessing the act of, he managed to get away. A woman named Ein, captured him under orders of, Scythe Master. In order to protect the organization all his memories were erased, in turn in becoming

brainwashed. The organization called Inferno. They are on a spiral chain to the top of the underground. Business is dealt with Ein, she's their phantom who takes care of "certain" leaders who don't agree with Inferno's ideals.

The art was good, I have no complaints with it. I enjoyed the blood and the amount of weapons.
Sound: 9
The voices were picked according to the characters. I enjoyed the beginning intro songs and endings.
Character: 9
The characters you see in the show will shape and form into new characters. Born anew. Reiji Azuma is going through an internal struggle to remember who he is. Why is he here? What is his purpose? Such an conflict. Ein, you will see her change. Not something you thought. An whole 360 degree circle. But I enjoy dynamic characters. There are more or less side main characters.
Enjoyment: 9
There is a power struggle between organizations. Who will reign supreme? I enjoyed the characters developing stages, the music, and how the settings were put into play.
Overall: 9
The anime deserves a watch no matter how you look at it. The first episode was kind of boring but once you push through it, you'll get hooked. And you will learn to love the characters. The ending...such tragedy..but I won't ruin it for you. You'll just have to watch it and find out what this psychological anime is about and what it will do to you.

If you haven't watched Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, then read no further but if you have, continue as want.

If you enjoyed the first series of Magi, you will love this even more! There are more characters that you have haven't seen yet. More battles. Everything.

From the first series of Magi, to this, there is a battle of light vs. dark. An constant struggle for power. The Al-Thamen is the organization bent on destroying the world, sucking all the ruka from all lifeforms. Aladdin, Morgiana, Alibaba, Hakuryuu, all have something to complete. Sinbad has his priorities. Everyone knows he is a sly devil. But with Hakuryuu, there is an internal struggle with his mom. Al-Thamen have their leashes on Kou Empire. What will happen? You have to watch the anime to figure that out.

I have no complaints against the artwork. I enjoyed the characters designs and the djinn equip was something amazing to look at.

All the characters voices were spot on, that is if you used Japanese subtitles, if not it would be some horrible voice acting. The openings are pleasant to listen to and the music in the anime is nice.
Character: 9
Compared to most anime, this has a huge lineup of characters. Most of the time when this is done, it is executed poorly but this isn't the case. You get to see the characters lives, personalities, and how they interact with people daily. I'm very impressed of how the characters are dynamic and continued to grow threw the series.
Enjoyment: 10
Throughout the series, I had myself chuckle because their is some "WTF" moments but that is what made this Magi. The fights were awesome and were different than a typical Shounen. You will not be let down if you watch it.

This anime is something that should be cherished. I highly recommend it to anime. It is not your average run of the mill Shounen. NO, it is something better. Further unique that sets itself apart from shows like Fairy Tail, Naruto, One Piece, etc. You will learn to appreciate for what this anime has done. Of why it got the praise. You see the high rating. You'll understand why after you watch the first series and this one as well. You will not be disappointed, I stake my life on it.
So many emotions boil throughout, laughter, sadness, happiness, are some feelings that I expressed. Not all anime does that where you can relate to it. But this anime surely did so. I wish there was another series to go after but we'll see. We can only hope...

I have to say, I am impressed by this anime. I wasn't expecting much. But I came in with a clear mind, with much surprise this anime treats you quite nicely. I will do a short review for this anime.

All people can use the Rukh but some are limited by their abilities and strength. But other certain individuals will practice and hone on their skills. The Magoi is the power that comes from the Rukh emitting from one's body, which in turn powers their magical weapons and abilities. One must be too careful, because if you use too much Magio, it can lead to your death.
There exists Magi throughout all of history and time. They are the ones who determine who is king. It's known that there is only three Magi but something has changed. Who knows? You'll find out.
Several Nations exist throughout the world, competing to conquer. But there can only be one. The Magi offer their guidance and protection, making them his king King Vessels and making them Dungeon Capturers. This method has been used to improve countless cities, these individuals will determine their fate.

I usually don't watch detective type anime but I gave this one a chance. And boy, was I not let down. The whole anime was interesting and the artwork felt...I don't have words for it, just amazing.
Just have an open mind like I did and you will enjoy this anime for what it did.

The series did an immaculate job when designing the artwork. It was beautiful. I have no complaints.

I enjoyed the music and it had good sounds. That is about it.

Victorique, being one of the main characters, known as the beautiful monster. She has bright golden hair. Not many people know about her either. Sweets and cases are her specialty. She hates being bored. Kazuya is the oriental boy from Japan. There is more than meets the eye with him. But you see the characters experience all types of emotions.
Enjoyment: 8
Watching this anime, it gave me hope to other anime like this. At first I thought it would have no story, but I was wrong. I gave it an chance. Not all people do, I recommend you stick it out through the very end and you will be very happy.
Overall: 8
After finishing the anime, I had tons of emotions running through me. Sadness was one of them. But it was soon replaced with happiness. I love how this anime gives you emotions, then allows you to cry such as I did. That is why I love anime more than real life shows. It goes to show you that anime is something that you can relate to.

First and foremost, I wish I wrote this review when I first finished it. But I did not, sadly. This is truly an gem. An underrated series. Hopefully more people find out about it. For this review I will be short, sweet and to the point. The idea is original which I highly love about this anime. There is an strong story present in this series. No doubt about that. As you watch, it will put you on the tip of your toes. The characters have an amazing personality that grow on you. Fighting is very much alive in this show but it doesn't shine

through that. Surprisely, the dialogue, is where this show, that you will appreciate it for. Also, there is an mystery. But I don't want to give away any details. There are two forces at work and both are against each other...that's all I am going to say.
Overall, this anime, made me feel amazed! There were so many awe-sparking moments. Many emotions are delivered throughout this anime. The characters are delivered beautifully. The sound was done splendidly. Art work felt rich with color.
I will give this anime an 10! It's truly an gem that should be remembered!

Out of all the anime, I got to say this. No other anime has made me happy when I watch it. But High School DxD has. It reminds me when I was a little kid watching Dragonball Z and everyone fighting. Remember when you had big smiles as a kid. Yeah, that was me when I was watching High School DxD for the first time.

The plot flows nicely in this anime. No filler at all. Each episode fills completely natural. An amazing story that you will truly understand once you watch the anime like I did.
Oh by the way, there are demons and angels in this anime. I'll leave it at that so I don't ruin this anime before you even watch it.

Some of the visuals were beautiful. The attacks have some amazing effects. Landscapes are absolutely gorgeous. Being in an high school setting, it made perfect sense. Character designs were done flawlessly.
Sound: 10
The music playing for the opening and ending sound like heaven. I enjoyed them to the fullest. And they know what music to play during certain situations.
Character: 10
Once you start watching High School DxD, you will fall in love with the characters. They are so beautifully designed. At first you see a bosom and then it turns into a elegant flower. Just as the characters do in this anime. Dynamic more than most anime out there. You start to love the characters and what they do.
Enjoyment: 10
During the whole time of watching the anime, I found pure enjoyment and satisfaction. Reminded me of no other anime, this is the best of its class.

If you love an harem story, look no further, you have found yourself one. An hidden gem at that. If you love big boobs, you probably do since you are watching this anime. But if not, you must have come for the plot for sure. It has an amazing and engaging plot that deepens your bond with the anime. The action/fighting, there are some epic fights that leave you crawling for more. This anime has become like an drug and I just can't get enough of it. It is one of my favorite anime. No, it is my number 1# favorite anime!!

I've been meaning to watch this series but haven't the chance yet. Taking the time, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, to no surprise, it became a gem of an anime. If you are into the kind of anime that has the MMORPG aspect to it, then you'll like this for sure.
