Outstanding. Magnificent. The true meaning of masterpiece.
I can't say anything that hasn't been said before, the review section covers everything that is, the perfection of this series amazes me up to the point I'm writing this just for the sake of sharing this with my future me. If you Bit or anyone are reading this, yeah, there are spoilers here.
The quote above is said by Gon's father, it is the last thing said on the anime, and it is the true lesson of the
...
whole thing. I love how animes can give advice, life lesson, guidance on life, hxh isn't any different, the last episode reflects everything I just said, it is the conversation between Gon and Ging about the 147 journey that led him through there, only to realize that the journey was the goal but the real prize was everything conquered during this 147 episodes.
I loved every second of it, I loved how they never changed (or only slightly changed) the opening, how the characters stayed firm on their personalities, even loved how they managed to make a little romance out of this adventure. Hisoka became one of my favorite anime characters of all time, it is well written, well dubbed, well drawn, I just can't emphasize enough how much he is a sick villain.
I love how they introduce strong characters such as Killua to only later realize he's the weakest among everyone we thought were even weaker. The Nen whole thing is superb, so similar to the Chakra concept, but different and badass on the same level.
I won't forget HxH in a while and I do pretend to read the mangรก, watch the movies and the originals, it is 2021 and I hope I can see the ending of this masterpiece and hopefully share with others that loved this as much as me.

Alright... Ao Haru Ride is a generic romance, boy meets girl, boy got problems, girl is intrigued by boy's problems, boy is cold and arrogant, girl wants to solve boy's problem, thus, girl falling in love.
However, it has something different, the atmosphere as you get closer to the ending changes, suddenly you are not watching some clichรฉ romance, you are watching a redemption of sorts, a rediscover and of course, a story of love.
I was downhearted when the anime didn't cover the whole arc of Murao, I immediately fell in love with her, a quiet, beautiful and depressed young girl, who has a platonic love,
...
you could see by her eyes how much love, how much compassion she had and could give, a shame really.
Also, I have to say, I hate how animes leave an open ending and only the mangรก gets the resolve, like shit man, everytime I finish an anime, there's more to it on the mangas, fust you. Didn't like the end of the anime but I did research the manga's and liked so I don't know how to feel about it.
Overall, this is a good anime to watch in one day, I only enjoyed the last 3 episodes, the first 3 ones were okay and the ones in between were just annoying but important to build what would happen later, yeah its you fault yuuri.

SPOILER ALERT!
Not much to say to an anime from 2008 who hasnt been already said. When I watched the first episodes I didn't like one bit, I said to myself, wtf am I watching, I trust my friend Bit though who recommend this one, and we usually have the same taste for everything, so I kept up for him, hoping that would get better and it did. The thing is, when I was reaching the 10th episode(that took me roughly 3 weeks or so), I thought '' I endured this shit until now, I can do this again'', and then, Everything changed when I reached
...
the 15th episode, as I read some of the most popular reviews, this show feels like it has multiple seasons, this one was a big changer, after that episode Taiga is not more that mongrel who is annoying af, relying on Ryuji to everything single thing and being ungrateful for the WORLD he gave to her. One thing that kept the flame alive, was the development of the both main characters, the obvious thing that would happen, both trying to help themselves get their loved ones, but ending loving each other, a clichรฉ, sure, but a good one. And Toradora! is no different. I liked the ending but didn't love it, it was right to them end together, the marriage surprised me though, and made me excited for both of them tbh. The decision taiga made on the last episode, I didn't like one bit, but I understood though, what she meant and somehow it was good for her and for ryuji she did that. Didn't like too that they left the proper ending to the post-credit scenes, could be easily missed, after the marvel era I don't leave anything without checking those haha. Minorin was a good character, she had her flaws, didn't like how the animรฉ showed to us the feelings she had for ryuji, it was like, yeah you can clearly see that she cares, she likes him, but lets just put this way ''it's to personal, I don't wanna talk about it ', differently from Taiga, that besides the attitude of not opening herself to him or anyone for most part of the show, as ryuji get near to confess his feelings for minorin, she realizes what she could lost, and can't bear the thought, hence, the scene of her crying in front of ther building in that snowing night, and minorin seeing the whole thing, one of the best scenes. And just let me say, what a character Ami is, the first impression is that she is a bitch, but as you get to know her, surprisingly she is a well-written character, say the things the other don't have the balls to say, and she has the mindset to things I do too, can't help but think we could be good friends. Besides all that, the show is a lotta fun, some really funny scenes, Kitamura and Ryuji's mom were both excellent side-characters, they had all stories developed during the show and evolved from them, it's not easy to make me smile during a show, and this one did with mastery. Don't take my 7 for granted, this show is amazing, and if you think about droping it off, hold a little longer, it will get good, taiga will turn a likeable character believe it or not and ryuji being a good guy as he always have been.

Truly marvelous! The unique atmosphere of GTO is captivating to anyone who are keen to learn about life. Just let me say I'm sorrowful,i am disappointed, i just can't believe they had more content to adapt from the mangรก and they didn't! guess I have no other choice besides reading it. But for now, I'll give you a brief moment of why this series is special.
I'm not a hardcore anime watcher, but I do enjoy it a lot, read tons about it and consider myself an enthusiast of japanese in general. Never, have I ever, found an animation that
...
could provide such life lessons, such approach to real life being a fiction. The main character behing the series is the Teacher Onizuka that gave birth to the title, his mission at the beginning is controversial, but as many things in life, it starts for a reason, develops to another and become a total different one. after some episodes you are hooked up, you can't stop, the opening clings to you mind like that pop songs that releases every year, the ending(2nd in special) makes you question LIFE ITSELF, how is this possible?.
A ex-gang member teaching a bunch of problematic kids? won't this turn even worse? the answer is no, Great Teacher Onizuka is there, the life he had before of crime, drugs, fighting became a truly professor for lost teenagers who were angry to teacher and education. I felt compelled to the ''sacred vacation'' even more.
How he thought his students to deal with every ordeal that is, several things that every teenager goes through - love, depression, hate, ambition, friendships - Onizuka were the sight for the 3-4 class sore eyes.
Somedays you feel sad, you feel like nothing, until you watch an episode of GTO... until you find what is a cresta, until you crack up with the relationship between a teacher and depressed vice-principel, whom he also helps how life can be better. I can't get enough of this series, watch it and talk to me about it, it changed my life in way, it might change yours too.

Far from being a good entertainment, this OVA is for MegaTen die-hard fans, mostly because it was where everything begun, not only for the SMT series, but for the whole JRPG niche. It is said that Dragon Quest V started with the whole catching monsters, befriending them, but in reality in 1987, 5 years before DQ5, the very first megaten game was released based on a trilogy of japanese books. The plot? Summoning demons through OG computers.
Can't really say its bad adapted since the first book which is the whole ground for this OVA has more than 450 pages, so if there isn't any prior
...
knowledge of MegaTen it might get confusing.
What's best about is the darkness of it, megaten always had this feeling, this vibe of something obscure, but it kinda lost that throughout the years, don't get me wrong, it still is, hell yeah. but when you watch this you kinda realize how heavy the stuff in it is, i read that since it was made in the late 80s, it was aimed for the adult audience so they didn't easy any of the stuff from the books.
Will recommend DDS to someone who played the games and fell in love like I did 1 year ago, most likely through Persona, which is way lighter than this one. Won't recommend to anyone who found this randomly, is isn't a masterpiece, it isn't good, is a well-written MegaTen OVA poorly done made for fans.

As someone who has more than 200 hours on the game, this series is utterly trash. What kept me going you may ask, I fell in love with the game and the whole franchise, since I played the game last year I've been completing every megaten game i can get my hands on. but for the series, it is a disappointment. for several reasons, one, for it is a game that takes 90+ hours to beat only with the main story and compress everything in 20 episodes or so, of course it would lose a lot of content, two, with so many things missed, you
...
can't get the feeling the game gives to you, the bond between the characters is horrible, everyone's problem are solved so easily, the palaces are done like its nothing, that bothered me, they tried to explain several things doing post-credits scenes of 20 seconds but for someone who hasnt played wont understand nothing. an honest opinion? the openings and the OST carried this whole show, if it wasn't for them maybe I'd have dropped on the second episode, they tried to be loyal to the game but sometimes it wouldn't make the same sense it did there, but the nostalgia for hearing again ignored that. apparently the anime finishes here but you got 3 more OVAs explaining the ending that could very well be here. if you really wanna know persona 5, try the game, if you don't got a ps3/ps4/pc, try watching on youtube, it's way better than this.

If you are reading this, thanks, you just made my day, pls let me know!
Okay, I'm just astonished with what I just saw, please do not take my 6 for granted, my thing is to undervalue the ratings I give, for example, I haven't watched that much of anime, but none felt like a truly 10.
THIS REVIEW CONTAIN MINOR SPOILERS.
Now the review, this season fixed so many things from the previous one that I'm skeptical if I should give a 7-8 for this anime. I personally don't like to follow the guidelines, most because of this anime is super underrated, hardly anyone will read it
...
and if you wanna check the story, art and sound, all of the others ones will present it, i'll just make a special regards to the soundtrack which is amaziiiiing, the opening, the ost, even the proper soundtrack during the episode.
One of the major problems of the first season is slow-pacing, now I understand it had to be that way so we could understand what the hamatora world is, even though I think it could be different, the first season impressed me so much for a low-budget anime adapted from an unknown manga. The second season changed this completely, all the episodes are focused on explaining things they didn't before, such as how the minimum works, the origin of the strange names(that's actually pretty dope), since the kids who were identified with minimum potential were brought to the facultas academy, they didn't have proper names, so they would give numbers, Hajime for ex, was the name nice gave to 01, so we can assume that nice, birthday, three, honey were similar. Not only that, we could understand who the master was, a.k.a the boss of the cafรฉ, in the whole animรฉ only in one scene he's called by his real name, Masuta. not only that, he started to make more influential participation on the saga, we later discover that he's a former facultas doctor and it was he who took hajime and koneko out of the academy when they were kids. The series also had always this mood for jokes and comedy, sometimes these scenes were too cringey, but on the second season they had some eleborated ones that made me laugh so hard. One thing though, the transition between scenes were awful, really, sometimes it broke the imersion on the episode, some scenes would last less than 1 minute, and to realocate to the other scene, they put some kind of wallpaper with the hamatora logo on it with one of the sound effects.
How they built the villain was beyond good, they did it so fuck1ng well, the second season was so good that made the so so first season better, congrats for the studio, they made an excelent sequel.
Anyhoo, this anime is super underrated, I highly recommend it to watch before sleep or on a chill day, it doesn't have the best of the stories, it doesn't have an innovative script, but is good, its fun, I really enjoyed.

As someone who has seen this animรฉ in 2021, I have to say, it isn't that bad, with so many good qualities animes in the market nowadays with astronomical budgets the simplicity of this series is captivating.
I must say that I'm attracted to underrated animes, of course I don't neglect Attack on Titan, Death Note, Full metal qualities and recognize them for it. But Hamatora is different in a way, I read most of the reviews of this first season and all of them have similar points: fillers and lack of development. Which I agree and is understandable, the mangรก is not that famous in
...
japan and the animation is even worse in that aspect, it is so obscure that even the game(yes, hamatora have a game) was never realeased outside japan.
My main critic about the animation is the lack of character devolopment by far, every episode it is about a case that is offered to Hamatora to solve, that takes 15-18 to happen and leaves 3 or less minutes to develop the main plot, don't get me wrong, the cases are fun and cool to watch, but none of the episodes took a time to explain the past well detailed or make us care about anyone.
Also, there's this bizarre fact that a great parcel of the characters have english names that aren't even regular names, Nice, Birthday, Honey, Three, Master. We don't get to know if its their real name or it is a nickname and why, they don't even use last names which kinda pisses me.
Looking in another way, the villain was well developed in a way that made you hate him, he was the kind of psychopath who would indulge himself as the savior and didn't look at what he was doing was evil, but only that he was saving and making the world equal.
Last but no least, the soundtrack, really enjoyed that one, the opening is amazing, the ost in the end always kept you until it ended (which nowadays is kinda hard to do, since everyone just wants to jump in the next episode).
They did a good job selecting the best tracks on the battle scenes, when the mystery was happening even the funny moments they got it right.
Overall, I'm the kinda guy who gives lower ratings even to things I loved, I would say my 5 could be easily someone's 9, I like to people know that when I have something 10 is literally the perfection embodied. I'm giving this animรฉ a solid 5. They made a good thing out of obvious low budget, and that got me attracted in 2021. Looking foward to checkout the 2nd season!
