Tengoku Daimakyou was a big letdown for me. The first two episodes are super hype, but that’s about it.
Basically, the anime follows two parallel stories: the kids on the outside and the kids on the inside. The inside story is interesting, but it doesn’t get enough screen time, and the characters feel empty. On the other hand, the outside characters are interesting, but their story is empty.
At first, I was really into the outside kids’ story because I thought it would develop into something amazing, but no. Their entire story is basically told in episodes 1 and 2. You could skip
...
everything and jump straight to episode 13 without missing anything. So, in every episode, you’re just waiting for those 2-3 minutes of the inside kids' storyline because that’s where things actually happen.
And in the end, without spoiling anything, it plays out exactly as you expect, with the big secret being exactly what you think it is.
I’m giving it a 5/10 because it’s watchable, but I honestly regret the time I spent on it.

Erased is a nice anime. You’ll probably have a good time watching it, but it won’t change your life. It mixes concepts that are rarely seen together, making it stand out a bit. I’d say its biggest strength is how touching and emotional it is.
Positive points :
- A warm atmosphere despite the themes it tackles.
- The most important concept for me: pedophilia. It’s good to see this topic addressed because, unfortunately, it’s way too common in our world and not talked about enough compared to other themes that bring in more money.
- Beautiful visuals.
- Likable
...
characters.
- A good storyline with a mystery to solve.
- Intense moments that really pull you in.
Negative points :
- A feeling of too little—I wanted more, maybe another season. Something is missing for it to be a truly great series.
- Some things felt way too obvious, yet the main character didn’t notice them, which frustrated me a bit.
Conclusion : Boku dake ga Inai Machi is a good anime but not a great one. It lacks that extra something.
7/10 : Enjoyable overall.

Blood-C: The Last Dark is a movie that serves as both the sequel and conclusion to the series of the same name. The best word to describe this film is probably "disappointing". I was expecting a simple showdown between Saya and Fumito, but instead, the movie introduces a whole new plot—one that actually sounds good on paper. The problem is that everything feels poorly executed, with some moments dragging on unnecessarily while others, which are actually important, feel rushed. This turns the movie from good to just decent.
Positive Points :
- The animation. For 2012, it looks amazing, better than many anime from
...
2025.
- The first action scene is really well done, both in pacing and "camera" work.
- The main character has significantly evolved between the series and the movie.
- Excellent soundtrack, truly.
- Some surprising revelations.
- Much more interesting characters compared to the series.
Negative Points:
- Important scenes are just thrown at you out of nowhere, to the point where you almost wonder if it’s a joke.
- The fights are too short and lack stakes. Saya wipes out her enemies way too easily. She should have faced multiple opponents at once or been given a handicap. This was supposed to be the grand finale, yet I never felt even a drop of tension.
- A general lack of stakes. As mentioned earlier, there’s no real threat, no population to save, no higher objective—just Saya’s personal revenge.
Pour conclure : This movie improves on everything from the series, yet it fails in key moments and in its fights, which brings its score down a lot. Still, I’d recommend watching it if you enjoyed Blood-C since it wraps up the series well and remains an enjoyable watch.
6,5/10 : Passes the time.

Blue Lock is an excellent anime that perfectly completes the trio of football anime. I love the realistic aspect of this anime. We see football without super techniques, so everything remains coherent. Each player has their strengths and weaknesses.
Positive Points :
- An incredible animation.
- OSTs that are both great and diverse.
- A mature and serious tone that fits the story perfectly.
- High tension in the matches.
- Good coherence.
- Great moments of tactical thinking.
- An engaging story.
...
- Likable characters.
Negative Points :
- A gloomy, unsettling atmosphere that can feel heavy over time.
- Some plays that are a bit too unrealistic, which makes Blue Lock lose what sets it apart from Captain Tsubasa and Inazuma Eleven, and, more importantly, makes everything feel less coherent.
Conclusion : If you love football and anime, go for it, you’ll love it.
7/10 : Enjoyable Overall

Blood-C: Special Edition is a summary of the 12 episodes of Blood-C. Personally, I didn’t notice any exclusive scenes, maybe just a few seconds here and there, but nothing special. It’s useful if you want to watch the movie that takes place after the series and have forgotten the story. It gives you 40 minutes of well-paced content, almost without any fights, just the plot. So, as I said earlier, there’s nothing new, it’s just the scenes from the series edited together to quickly retell the story.
If you’ve really watched the series a long time ago or if you just want to quickly revisit the
...
story, then it’s useful. Otherwise, it’s pretty unnecessary.

Blood-C is an anime that unfortunately struggles to surprise due to its repetitive structure. Each episode roughly follows the same pattern: a fairly relaxed yet mysterious atmosphere, followed by a fight at the end of the episode. While this structure might work for some, it ends up feeling predictable and lacking freshness over time.
However, the anime does have some positives. First, the choice of a female protagonist is refreshing. It stands out from the usual shonen heroes and is a nice change of pace. Additionally, the enemies have rather original designs, which adds a bit of novelty to the anime’s world.
The main character is pretty
...
interesting, and you’ll likely grow attached to her as the series progresses. However, it’s unfortunate that the supporting characters lack depth. They often feel like anime clichés, one-dimensional and underdeveloped, which detracts from the overall experience.
The animation isn’t particularly impressive, but it’s also not a major issue. The movements are fluid and well-animated, which is a positive, though the overall aesthetic doesn’t stand out much. As for the mysterious aspect of the story, it does manage to keep viewers engaged by teasing intriguing elements throughout, which makes you want to see more.
The biggest problem with Blood-C lies in its length. As mentioned earlier, the episodes are repetitive. The plot advances in small increments, but there are too many unnecessary battles that drag out the series without adding much. This makes the overall experience a bit redundant and slows down the pacing of the story.
However, the conclusion is satisfying and provides an ending that doesn’t disappoint, which is important, as many series leave a bad taste with a rushed or unsatisfactory finale.
All in all, Blood-C is an anime that passes the time but isn't essential viewing. It's the kind of series to watch when you’re looking for something simple, without too many expectations, but also without expecting anything groundbreaking.
6/10 - Passes the time

To begin with, this movie could also be called "Episode Reo" because his character is developed just as much. We get to see how he meets Nagi and their progress in Blue Lock, but this time from their perspective.
Positive Points:
A first part without football. Some might not like it, but I found it refreshing to see character development outside of football. It makes them feel more human, and we get to appreciate them more.
Reo's development. If you don't watch this movie, this player will probably remain forgettable for you, as he doesn't get much spotlight in the
...
main series. But here, we see him from a different angle, and he actually became my favorite character thanks to this film.
The relationship between Reo and Nagi. We learn to appreciate the bond between these two and understand much better why Reo felt betrayed when Nagi left him in Blue Lock.
The OST.
The animation is on point.
Negative Points:
The Blue Lock part isn't interesting. Some might enjoy it since it features matches we hadn't seen before, but for me, it was forgettable. I'd rather rewatch those moments from Isagi's point of view.
Conclusion:
You'll likely enjoy the first part, which focuses on the meeting between the two protagonists. You can skip the second part if you're not particularly a fan of Reo or Nagi.

The only thing I think about while watching *Demon Slayer* is: "What a waste." What a waste that the best-animated anime happens to be such a bad one. So many other series deserved this level of animation, but instead, we got this.
Now, let’s talk about this season: *Yuukaku-hen*. In short, it’s just a copy-paste of the previous season—but worse. There is zero story, and I’m not even joking. It can be summed up in one sentence: The three main characters, accompanied by a Hashira, infiltrate a district to find and kill demons. That’s it.
So, we get five pointless episodes where nothing
...
progresses : 1h40 of unfunny, recycled jokes before the fight begins and lasts until the very end. And here, it becomes unbearable. The heroes get destroyed for the entire battle but keep pulling*power-ups out of nowhere:
-Tanjiro suffers about 30 hemorrhages but survives every time. Because shonen.
- Inosuke gets stabbed through the heart and bleeds out for 10 minutes, but then he suddenly reappears in perfect shape. Because shonen.
- Tengen Uzui "dies" (just like the other Hashira in the previous season, because why bother coming up with a new plot for each arc?), his heart stops beating for 10 minutes, but he survives. Because shonen.
- Zenitsu gets trapped under tons of rubble but somehow escapes.Shonen.
- Tanjiro faints for 10 minutes, then gets repeatedly beaten up, has his fingers broken (on top of his hemorrhages), yet he survives. You know.
So, to summarize: The two demons had already defeated all four protagonists, with two of them essentially dead. Then, for 10 minutes, they just play with Tanjiro, and suddenly, we’re told that "everyone is magically fine". But why didn’t the demons just finish them off? *Because shonen.*
Final Verdict:
It’s been two whole seasons, and the story hasn’t progressed at all. We still don’t know why demons exist, if there’s a plan to defeat them, or even where their base is. Nothing. The author does whatever they want with the plot, throwing logic out the window. If they want to resurrect a character or pull 40 random power-ups, they just do it.

The Greatest Work of All Time
One Piece is incomparable to any other story. You simply cannot compare a tale that has been building for 1,100+ episodes/chapters. These aren’t just episodes stacked on top of each other they are pieces meticulously planned by the author from the very beginning, all forming an intricate and cohesive narrative.
Positives:
- Cohesion: A grand tapestry continuously being woven together to form one final masterpiece. Nothing is random; everything is planned. Even the fights are structured so that no character is too strong or too weak, and no underpowered
...
character holds a role that feels disproportionate to their strength or influence.
- A story planned from the start: What happens in Episode 1 might not make full sense until Episode 452 and even then, your perspective will shift again at Episode 683. A simple drawing that seemed meaningless at first could turn out to be the cornerstone of the entire story 600 episodes later.
- A living world: While Luffy is living his adventure, things are happening elsewhere in the world, leading to real consequences. Likewise, the crew’s actions impact the world around them. It doesn’t feel like we’re just following a protagonist—it’s like witnessing an entire ecosystem and global geopolitics unfold.
- Countless plotlines and subplots: You’ll never run out of mysteries to explore or theories to debate in One Piece.
- Unparalleled diversity: With over 1,000 named characters, islands, creatures, oceans, powers, and mysteries—all interconnected with their own stories, relationships, and secrets you’re guaranteed to have at least 10 favorite characters.
- Incredible soundtrack.
- Fantastic voice acting (as is often the case for anime in their original version).
- An ever-improving animation quality despite the demanding weekly schedule.
Negatives (unfortunately, there are some):
- A sometimes slow pace, especially towards the end, due to the weekly release schedule stretching out episodes.
- Story arcs can sometimes feel too similar.
- Humor gets repetitive: The same jokes for 1,000 episodes can become tiring.
- Too much focus on every crew member: While it's admirable that Oda wants to give every character their moment in each arc, it slows down the story at times.
Final Verdict:
The negatives I’ve mentioned are minor nitpicks compared to the overall quality of the series. You will never regret investing your time in One Piece. Have a great adventure! 🚢🏴☠️

Shangri-La Frontier is an anime that brings absolutely nothing new. Beautiful animation, great fights, an interesting lore—but it’s all been done before. The episodes are quite repetitive, and it’s unclear where the story is going.
All we know is that it’s a shonen, and the protagonist’s goal is to improve—but that’s it. The first thing you should know in a game is: *"What’s the objective?"* Here, you don’t even know.
The main character is empty—a brute who spits out vulgarities every two seconds, completely brainless.
Maybe the story will pick up at some point, but I’ve seen too little to feel like continuing. So, it’s a
...
drop for me.
