They both have that similar sort of absurdist, comical, jokes, with a caste of characters with similar sort of, extreme personalities. If you liked the style of jokes in one, I think you would enjoy the other.

Vanitas no Karte

what drew you into Vanitas? if it was: - vampires - bromance - mysterious plot - great animation - fun character chemistry Then what if I told you Owari no Seraph can offer you all this but just a tad shounenified. Thats right, you dont need to starve for anymore vampire bishies that actually have good plot and personalities coughcoughdiabolikloverscough, unless, of course, you've already watched it 0-0

Similar type of comedy shorts type feel, concerning a character and how hes not what he seems. Although more alike in 'vibes' i guess than plot, as Saiki Kusuo is definitely more extensive with a larger cast and somewhat of character development, but both shows are baseline feelgood comedies and I think if you enjoyed the comdey style in one youd like the other.

Jingai-san no Yome

Despite the fact it just came out, I get serious Miira no Kaikata vibes from this, the art, and the premise of a boy coming into contact with a creature along with friends also with creatures. So if you wanted a light hearted anime with a school setting that isn't a slice of life romance this would be it. Also with the added twist of a random cute squishy thing.

Despite the plots not being very similar, the whole vibe of both anime are very similar. -A mystery anime with subtle and pleasantly paced horror along with a strong psychological element and dramatic climax- This sentence can describe both anime, of course, if you are not one willing to watch a slow building anime and go straight to the action, I would say you wouldn't be a fan of these. But if you enjoy a slow build to the extravagant end, these anime are perfect for you.

Kekkai Sensen

They both mix a nice comedy with a serious plot. They have a group of people with superpowers who work together. both have pretty good dubs and (as of now) both have two seasons. I feel that hamatora is just a bit more serious. Comedy wise, kekkai sensen is definitely the better. Depending on your mood, if you want something more serious or light, they are both great shows.

1.They both have a bunch of guys with powers who fight. 2.I feel like they both are not too heavy but still maintain a good plot. I preferred Kekkai Sensen but when I was watching it I was definitely reminded of Servamp. My favourite thing about both anime is how they both have a super happy ending song :).

In both these anime, there is an organisation against evil. Both anime start of with a plot that seems pretty simple but evolves into a story that is much more complex and filled with a variety of emotions. I watched black cat first and immediately fell in love with it. When I watched the first episode of Chrno Crusade it didnt take long to think that it reminded me of black cat.

Both of these anime have a nice mystery element, although, spiral has a set mystery and Hyouka has various mysteries. Both of these anime are entertaining and make you think. The characters are also similar in many ways. Both of these anime are a 'must watch' in my opinion if you are interested in mystery anime.
