Both anime series cover dark subjects and the psychological effects that come with them. The two series seem to have a similar vibe or feeling to them. Both series contain supernatural elements.

- Both mangas focus around vampires - both mangas have an innocent looking female lead - both contain romance - both contain a deep plot that feel incredibly similar - both mangas have some sort of reverse harem elements - Both manga series give of a similar feeling one instantly remind you of the other

These manga's were both made by the same mangaka so the art style is very similar... but i noticed both manga's had a similar atmosphere, the clash between the psychological and social norm is expressed in both of these manga's. The only difference is aku no hana doesn't really contain supernatural elements.

In both manga`s the main character go through a lot of psychological events that are potentially damaging, and they struggle with their natural instinct. The main characters both have to learn to overcome those events. Both manga`s are in the horror genre and i feel like they have a similar atmosphere. The ghouls/creatures in both manga`s kill/eat people.

The the characters go through a lot of psychologically damaging events because of this change Both mangas contain plenty of gruesome elements,as they are both in the horror genre. They gave of quite a similar feeling in my opinion.

in both series the main is what you would consider as a pervert. in both series the main character appears useless , and is therefore often protected by the girls around him creating a harem setting. The fantasy and supernatural genre is very prominent in both these series , if you like on you'll probably enjoy the other
