Wasn't too big a fan of the pacing and time skips but I'm also not a fan of anime that drags on too long so it worked for my attention span in the end. The world building is pretty basic but the plot was unique (no big conflict, just following the MC's journey and thought process as he goes through this new life). Didn't really like the MC design and thought it would put me off from watching it, but the beginning really pulled me in.
If you like shows like Mushishi, Fukigen na Mononoken, Nastsume's Book of Friends, etc. You'll probably enjoy the moments

where he summons Ayakashi. I really enjoy those type of shows, however as I am not a fan of episodic anime, I am unable to get through most of them. It was exciting to see the elements in a non-episodic anime. They don't go into much details of each of the Ayakashi he summons, but it's still cool to see.
I quite liked the MC's personality, like a more compassionate version of Ayanokoji from Classroom of the Elite. It's a nice balance. He tries to be calculative in this life, and so he plans his actions around that- to use those around him. However, he can't escape his innate desire to help others.
In terms of the character relationships, even though it's sort of a harem, the dynamics between all the characters were nice and the potential romances did not get in the way of the story. The female characters aren't just accessories, and MC's reasoning for building relationships with them were intentional.
While they could have shown more character development, there are a lot of characters for 13 episodes so personally, I think they did a great job with showing Yifu, Luft, and Gly's character developments. However, because of the pacing, it was kind of like "where did that come from?" rather than a smooth progression (ex. every time Yifu casts a new spell). Also, even though the MC is OP, he does experience character development. We see his goals shift as he figures out what he wants in this life and reflects upon his actions in his past life. MC's development had a pretty smooth progression imo.
