Both anime are about a likable group of characters traveling in space and their pursuit for cold, hard cash. Both anime have a memorable soundtrack (especially in Bebop) and both anime have a robot element in their plot. Both anime have a wizened veteran and an energetic young girl in their group. Both anime have a villain whose past is connected in some way with that of the protagonist's. Finally, both anime have a classic last episode.

Both anime have the same composer (Kuniaki Haishima), both series have creepy theme songs, and both have Karen Strassman in the cast. To a deeper extent, both anime deal with self-discovery and they venture into the more philosophical ideas of life. Both Monster and Requiem are dark, deep series with few moments dedicated to humor. There's a huge element of mystery in both series and, in the end, you'll enjoy Requiem from the Darkness if you liked Monster.

Both series has a character that loses an eyeball. Both series have memorable theme songs (more so in Bebop than Black Cat). Both series have a notable main villain with white hair (Creed in Black Cat is by far the more dynamic of the two). Train = Spike Sven = Jet Rinslet =Faye Eve = Ed? If you loved Cowboy Bebop, chances are you'll enjoy Black Cat as well.

It's a bit of a stretch but hang with me. Both main characters have personalities that are (really) similar to each other and are easily likable. Both are mainly focused on helping people through their situations (Trigun only does this early in the series) Both have unforgettable theme songs (more so in Trigun than in GTO). Both are considered classic anime series. Both have excellent soundtracks.

CRS is more space-oriented than Trigun but both anime have a strong focus on comedy and both have a main antagonist with a past connected to the protagonist. Both anime have great guitar-oriented soundtracks, Trigun having a acoustic guitar one and CRs having an electric guitar one.
