spoiler free review section — !
I had originally read this manga perhaps a year ago, but had suddenly stopped near the end. Nothing really motivated me to pick it back up again, and it stayed that way for awhile. I came back to my manga list and found Tokyo Revengers sitting there, and decided to reread the story from the beginning. I had many positive thoughts on Tokyo Revengers, reminiscing in the excitement and thrill this manga had brought me not long ago.
Now, Tokyo Revengers is a well told story. And this is true for the most part, for the first half of the manga.
...
Tokyo Revengers is an exciting story that introduced me to the world of delinquents, and yet this may be the first and the last delinquent manga I will ever read. The concept of time traveling to save another's life is not very foreign or unique, but somehow the way Tokyo Revengers tells it drew me in. The stakes were high and the bonds that were formed and strengthened where endearing and sweet. The way I was drawn into Takemichi's world is powerful and kept me reading for more. I would say this is by far not a "bad" manga. But it could've been better had the second half of the manga been different, or simply never existed.
— spoilers start here —
I feel like it all started with the dark impulse. The dark impulse, supposedly the origin of Mikey's urges for murder seemed like something that was inserted it just for the plot to continue moving. The readers were not provided a good explanation or reason as to why this existed, and it was shoved into the story without any real meaning. Though they had given something of an explanation by the end of the series, it felt strange. It didn't feel like it really fit with anything the story had to give. Of course, the ending to Tokyo Revengers itself was not any better. It was just convenient.
But before the dark impulse was introduced, things were already getting flimsy. After what seemed to be the perfect future, Takemichi when back in time, desperate to save Mikey. But when he went back, all there was waiting for him were more and more gangs with different names and faces. It had felt like they were shoving different names down my throat, and I simply couldn't remember them all because of how insignificant they seemed, and how unrelated they were to Takemichi and his mission. It seemed to drag.
But Tokyo Revengers was not like this at the beginning, the beginning of the manga truly drew me in and is definitely worth reading. While its true that there are many more aspects of the manga that make the story flawed, the story that is told is well thought out and explores the concept of time travel captivatingly well. This manga is good in many different ways. It just isn't as good as it could've been.

I came for the wholesome moments, stayed for it's plot (and wholesome moments).
The Girl From the Other Side is a fascinating story with a classic human and inhuman being. I love how it's heartwarming yet heart-throbbing at the same time, how it catches me off guard with this unexpected suspense, yet balances this with its wholesome moments that make me smile and really do warm my heart.
Now back to the plot. I was actually completely caught off guard with the plot, it kept me curious and the storytelling of this manga is what kept me reading. I'm in love with this manga, the backstories
...
and this concept of humans and black creatures with monstrous features, yet more than that.
I don't think I need to express my love for the art. Needless to say, it's as loveable as the characters are.
One thing that has definitely disappointed me was the ending to the manga. Without spoiling, I think the ending couldn't compare to the rest of the story and left me rather confused, and it didn't feel like an ending.
Despite this, I think this manga is worth it even if the ending isn't particularly my liking.
This manga is great for fantasy lovers and has a great storyline as well as loveable characters and art.

There's action, there's mystery, there's this captivating concept of time travel.
It draws me in so much just in the first episode that im just dumbfounded. Its cleverly crafted mysteries don't lack anything: it keeps me curious, and always somehow end up catching me off guard. It's a donghua capable of tears too, and isn't emotionally lacking either.
Well, to start off, it’s the first thing you notice about this donghua: the art. It’s refreshing unique art style I can’t find anywhere else. It gives me a new sense of originality that’s important in these animes and donghuas, in both story and art.
If you're one
...
for smart characters (ex. The Promised Neverland) with crafty plans then this is a good add to your watches.
This has one of the few OP/EDs that I actually don't skip (unless I'm urgent due to cliffhangers) they have a unique opening and the endings are always somewhat chilly as it ends on the iconic ED beats.
The only upsetting thing I can find in this donghua is their excessive use of cliffhangers that keep me on the edge.
So basically (TLDR): if you like a suspenseful, exciting, brilliantly planned donghua, you'll like LINK CLICK.

10/10, would love to watch it over again for the first time
This movie is a very literal beautiful masterpiece. It has the smooth animation, the humor, the very beautiful characters, and a nice lil moral to take with us when we finish watching the movie.
The story features a princess, who does not have the typical disney princess body type, but, she still loves herself as she is, as pointed out at the beginning of the movie. Unlike the popular, insecure girl and confident boy story, it is the very opposite.
I love the character development, especially Merlin's development.
A key part to my enjoyment was
...
the humor, the three wooden bears and Prince Average really brightened my experience~ I also loved that it was a mix of all the fairy tales, it was like all my childhood wrapped in a sweet lil movie.
(Lastly, make sure to watch through the credits part, they show the endings of the rest of the F7~)
