While I have not finished My Girl, I could tell that both stories have somewhat of a similar theme and/or concept. Both mangas revolve around the story of an adult figure taking care and looking after a child, the two mangas both heartwarming and heart-throbbing for various reasons.

If you liked Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. add

...then you might like Sora no Aosa wo Shiru Hito yo add

both revolve around friend groups that try to deal with their own pasts. they both are capable of making you feel sad / cry and theres that one non-human character.

If you liked For the Sake of Sita add

...then you might like Lookism add

Both have this.. kinda sad aura. They both revolve around the sad reality of things. Though Lookism is a long, ongoing WEBTOON, For the Sake of Sita is a completed short story. Lookism is a drama genre and For the Sake of Sita is more of a romance. Both are very good and can make you cry

If you liked Koe no Katachi add

...then you might like Red Shoes add

They both teach life lessons and are great to watch. Though Red Shoes is a more light hearted film compared to A Silent Voice, they both cover topics that are very important.
