I'm a very active manga reader who is re-reading my entire collection from childhood (which is about 800 something books). I happen to write reviews on some of them. I'm all for writing reviews since I believe newer readers should gain a different perspective coming from an old weeb trash like me; especially if a series aged terribly. I'm also very active on old forums because I just have to put in my two cents, half the time.

My ratings for each manga is taken seriously. Anything rated 4 and lower should not be considered readable and it is wasted time. Any manga with 0 rating just means I need to re-read those mangas. My manga collection can be viewed in my Blog on my profile.

When did you start collecting your books? 800 is a lot! Is it just books you collected when you were young, bought from a giant lot, or inherited from someone else? If so, you had a good taste as a child, haha.

Chobits is my first CLAMP manga I've read, and I'll definitely be reading more. From the synopsis I thought it would be a very sappy romance manga but I'm glad it turned out to be so much more. It has actually gotten me to wonder if I would make the same choices as Hideki if I were living in a world with persocoms.

Do you have any other recommendations? Maybe regarding CLAMP manga or maybe regarding other publishers, ones that I might enjoy if I liked Chobits?

Hey, thanks for adding me! I saw your post on the Chobits chapter discussion and couldn't agree with you more.

I see a lot of cool manga and anime in your favorites list that I still plan on reading/watching, like Clannad, Higurashi, Nana and Violet Evergarden. And you have read way way waayyy more manga than I have, so I've got lots of catching up to do haha.

yessssss omg someone who understands !!!! My goal ( dream ) is to make a anime that's 90's style like sailor moon and kodocha but since they are from that time its rare to see a behind the scenes of how they did things and made it look so amazing ! I can't stand cocomelon style stuff that they are pushing out these days and I know many anime lovers would love to see that style brought back

Do they all just look at you like a big kid who is stuck in an adult body 😂 mines does this , I named my daughter Cerena ( after sailor moon ) I just changed the s to a c and my family was like this girl and her anime lol

Thank you so Much for adding me. I didn’t know that since I’m so new but I’m glad I’ve been fortunate for my first 2 friends 🥰. None of my family have a love for it like I do so I’m pretty alone in this so it’s exciting to have some anime friends ! Never been so excited and happy I found this website .
