Drama Queen is an adult series with adult themes about a scrappy underdog who's been trampled by an establishment that is run by a species that colonized her entire planet. It's very much NOT about glorifying the killing of minorities like many have claimed. If you think such a thing, I have bad news for you.
You are presented with a world that has essentially been conquered by an advanced foreign civilization. This civilization wormed its way into every facet of power and made efforts to ensure all leadership roles were loyal and biased to them as opposed to the native residents. Said native residents

are treated poorly, often not receiving wages high enough to feed themselves properly, while the aliens of this foreign civilization live noticeably more comfortably.
This is a solid premise, it presents an enemy that has infested every corner of human life, similar to many other series and their representations of yokai or other supernatural happenings. Humans are by and large at the mercy of this enemy. Where the main point of contention with this premise seems to arise, is that the enemy did it subtly. They claim to be equals but do not think so.
The only people this premise upsets are those upheld and favored by such establishments. Furthermore, when your reaction to seeing a creature written and designed to be repulsive, arrogant, inconsiderate, nepotistic, and thoroughly inhuman is to subconsciously label them a minority-- genuinely I ask what is wrong with you? It's like Starship Troopers all over again.
