Nice bleach review! I'm currently starting the show as of now so it's good to know what I'm getting myself into.

It made me chuckle a few times and I like a few of the characters but the jokes were just, yeah, I couldn't continue it anymore.

So I took a gander at your list and I saw you said the jokes on Gintama weren't funny. I have to agree. I watched 79 episodes and I couldn't take it anymore. The constant poop and literal toilet jokes are not my brand of funny.

It is because your not beating around the bush and trying to justify any sort of quality to the series, your straight and to the point and thats what people like to see and probably what alot of people including my self, truly feel bout the show.

Even though your review on bleach is not entirely in depth and detailed, you captured exactly how i felt about the series. I JUST now finished it my self and i have to agree. Very little plot, underdeveloped characters and so simplistic that it hardly is engaging. I treally lacks substance and depth. People like to compare bleach's popular generic shonen tropes to naruto as well and i just can't see that. Masashi Kishimoto is head and shoulders above kubo tite when it comes to writing.

All his characters go through major change and development and each one is incorporated into the story in such a manner that they all have grand roles to play, the story it self is very serialized and connected. I just don't feel that way at all with bleach like i do with naruto.

Must be boring to get the same messages everytime, but your Bleach review was very true. Can't believe it's hyped so much and that's why it scores an average 8. There are rumours about a new season (don't know when) and I'm not even sure if I want to watch that, except if it's without fillers.

I came here like the others to thank you for your review of Bleach, I completely agree with you. I think I might just read the manga or just watch the Japanese ones to get back to the regular story line.Thanks again for the excellent review.

You're review of Bleach is spot on...I couldn't agree with you more. One thing I've noticed through watching it, is that we're constantly reminded of characters names just for the sake of being reminded it seems. Occasionally I've looked ahead at spoilers, I've even seen every episode thus far (English Dub anyway), but I'll always stumble upon several names to which I can't put a face (because I've forgotten all about them). How can a show be any good if you can't even remember who's who? However, I can't just put it aside unfortunately, I've come this far...

Damn, I hate this about Bleach... There are so many downsides to Bleach that I've held off watching it until now (only because I'm watching it as I wait for new episodes of currently airing animes to hit the internet...). Hell, even if Dragon Ball Z a lot of people died... EVEN THE MAIN CHARACTERS DIE... But not in Bleach <.<; I was all like, "YEA! KILL THAT BASTARD" whenever Ichigo was fighting, but he never does kill them... Even in the shitty Bount Assault Arc, all of the Bounts get killed off, but the baddest of them all kills himself... WTF? Ichigo never got to kill a single Bount!

great review of Bleach, although i got hooked on it while watching those first 60 episodes, survived a lot of fillers, became fond of some characters but eventually i got irritated with all of it and just stopped watching it. sometimes i miss it, but when i remember, that there's no end... i just can't :P
