This anime is one of the example as to why you don't judge a book by its cover. Why? I started the anime expecting a wholesome, funny and a feel good slice of life, while it does have those elements, there are also some elements I wasn't expecting and that is the inclusion of a more serious topic like abusive parents, an abusive relationship, parents neglecting their child and more. Aight I'll talk about the show now.

Story
Kotaro lives alone. Pretty self explanatory to be honest. We see Kotaro's day to day life along with his neighbors. As to why he lives alone, we get to ... learn about it the more we follow his story. We also got to know his neighbors so yes.

Art
I don't think the art is anything crazy but the art style did grew on me as it does fit the slice of life and comedy genre.

Character
I love the characters so fucking much. Most of them are likeable, character like Karino is relatable af. Yea idk what else to say other than most of the characters are fun and very likeable in my opinion.

Enjoyment
YES! YES! YES! I enjoyed the show soooo much but I don't think that it's for everyone. Slice of life isn't for everyone and the addition of the serious topics definitely isn't for everyone. I do like the way they approach the serious topics since it is definitely a real world issue that people do go through.

So yea, overall I enjoyed the hell out of this show, I hope we get a season 2, not the most likely to happen but I can dream...

Dr. Stone quickly became one of my favorite Shonen Jump Manga because of its unique yet interesting premise. Humanity essentially became extinct turning into stone and after a few thousand years, Senkuu, our hero in this series, woke up from being petrified and set out to get the civilization back to what it was all those years ago. That was essentially the plot of Dr. Stone.

The story of Dr. Stone wasn't anything too crazy but it was super enjoyable with the addition of Senkuu with the help of friends around him remaking modern inventions now in the stone world. Seeing those inventions that we are ... now used to just with looking way more primitive, was such an amazing moment seeing stuff we're used to being made from scratch.

The art was done by Boichi-sensei who is such an amazing artist that I've always strived to be. Some of the panels drawn by him was amazing with so much details put into measly a single panel. There was some scenery art drawn by Boichi that does kinda remind me of Murata Yusuke's art with One Punch Man, that's the quality of art we're talking about here.

Overall, the Dr. Stone manga was amazing and super enjoyable. Definitely recommended to Shonen Jump fans, but I do think that Dr. Stone is not for everyone. If you are more of a fan of Action Shonen, well Dr. Stone do have them but I wouldn't say that it's a strong point of the series because them doing science stuffs are definitely way more enjoyable than the action in the series. That's all I have to say about Dr. Stone. Thank you for reading my not so good review of it lol.

As a short animation, It wasn't bad. It has a unique animation style which differs a lot compare to normal anime style animations. And by unique, I'm not saying that it's bad. It's very visually appealing and can really be appreciated as an amazing piece of art.

Sound design feels amazing for this one. I don't know much about sound designing so I'll just leave it off here.

Animation and Sound design aside, let's talk about the "story". I feel like it didn't do a very good job at telling the story with the visuals. Most of the time while watching, I only thought about how pretty ... it looks. So not a very good story I guess.

It is pretty enjoyable if you really like stuff that is very artistic or aesthetic because it was pretty beautiful for most of the time.

Overall, should you watch it? I'm gonna say yes if you like beautiful visuals, plus it's also like 3 minutes long with a 1 minute credit so you won't be wasting too much time watching it.

It is one of the best manga I've read and there's multiple reasons as to why that is. It felt very unique and was able to make an amazing story from a very experimental premise.

Oshi No Ko was written by Akasaka Aka which is very well known for their other work, Kaguya-sama Love Is War. I went into the manga expecting it to feel similar to Kaguya-sama but it exceeded my expectation by being a unique yet amazing manga.

The art is done by Mengo Yokoyari and damn it looks AMAZING! Highly recommended to people who loves manga that have a drama element yet also ... being very lighthearted.
