-Both have an interesting and very likeable female mc and both the male mc have a unique "quirk" that is being unlucky af (male mc from Shikimori-san) and essentially being invisible to other people (male mc from Kubo-san) -Both is a wholesome romance story but Shikimori-san starts off with them already together while Kubo-san doesn't -Both have a similar way of developing the characters and introducing new characters
