I think that the characters are cool and diverse, but the progress of character progression is kind of bad. You look at Takemichi at episode 1 and compare it to him in ep 24, nothing has really change that drastically, when other anime can flawlessly do it in a span of even 3 episodes. Lastly how Mikey's behavior is kind of inconsistent, especially to Takemichi after he joined toman, maybe it's part of his growth or something, but I feel like it could've dealt with better

Though I only gave it a 6/10 overall, I'm still waiting for season 2, I enjoyed it very well that''s why I gave it an 8/10 in terms of enjoyment. There are flaws in the story and characters but I still enjoy it as it is

I feel like this anime could've been 10/10 if they focused more on the boy, Gugu and March. I kind of didn't like the fast phasing especially since this is a drama kind of anime. You can't really connect with others and makes it kind of predictable what would happen to the characters.
I feel like the 3 stories can be a movie/ anime of its own, and still would be phenomenal

To be fair, I would just rate every arc?? or story that is highlighted.
The beginning was amazing. probably a strong 9/10 (the unnamed boy's story)
March's story was probably the best of this anime,

-It's where I feel a strong potential for this anime to be a great one
Gugu's story (where I realized that the characters that are highlighted will probably die), I'll give it a 5/10
- Because I feel like his death isn't really important, It made me feel like they did that just foe the sake of making everyone emotional, and Imo they kind of made a bad job
The Jananda Island Arc (3/10) *Maybe Im kind of harsh in judging this*
- It's where I didn't care about what happened to the characters anymore, but the second half of 15 and the whole 16, and 17 is kind of cool.

Maybe Im kind of harsh in my judging, maybe because I saw a lot of potential in the first 10 episodes or maybe because I just finished watching Kimi no na wa and Odd taxi before watching this, maybe I compared those two to this. If you like this, I can totally see why. But I feel like it's either not my taste or It kind of became repetitive to me

The story is straight mediocrely bad, it had a lot of potential in the first episode. Around the beginning the story is good, but it became bad when the mc became friends with the black haired girl, I think that's where the story became just another harem with a cringe-ass mc.

The dialogues are cringey, and will make you want to watch a better anime. Especially when the mc is screaming. They think this is like 2015 youtube where screaming is funny (jk lol)

The characters probably is the reason I gave it a 1, I think the comic relief here is the mc but I find it not funny. So it's a romcom but no comedy. i find the characters quite annoying and the fmc pretty bland. To the point where you don't care who wins anymore since they are all bad. Their attitude/personality is pretty inconsistent (except ofc our mc being a comic relief by being a loser) and badly written. Im not against loser but I think the story could've been better if mc's "loserness" is used in making the plot better

It's straight up not enjoyable, it just waisted an anime studio's time. Could've adapted a better manga but was stuck in here. Though if you enjoy it, then good for you. But it's really not it for me. I'd rather watch an isekai to be honest.

This is possibly one of the greatest anime that I've watch
(I've only watched around 100 anime and completed around 70 so It isn't much)
I consider it great because everything starts making sense. I think the best way to watch this is to just enjoy it and just rewatch it afterwards to see the hints that leads to the ending.
I think spoilers in reviews is pointless because I sometimes read the reviews before watching an anime

But all I can say for the ending is "AMAZING!!!!!". things that don't even matter feels like it mattered and serve a purpose. Every dialogue and scene feels like there is a lot of things to see, there's little to none seconds on this anime is wasted.
It somehow even though the anime feels like there is a lot going on you were still kept on tract and not get lost, and best thing is you don't get fed up with it.

The art style just matches the story. It makes the story kind of wholesome and chill even though the story is intense and dark

The sound and dialogue are great. The conversations flows like water without it sounding cringy.

I enjoyed the anime mainly because I wasn't spoiled. And it also matched if not surpassed my expectation. I first watched this anime because it's weird (cause an animal that is a taxi driver), then dropped it because I thought it's going to be a slice of life anime. But I returned again to watch because of the reviews I hear and I'm also curious to how the anime plays out. Now that I've completed it, all I can say is DAMN I was so close into dropping a gem because of my short span attention.

Its pretty alright, It's just average on everything.
I don't personally play the sport but if you do, this might be enjoyable to you. Though I find the anime somewhat enjoyable,
The characters are your standard sports anime characters, the gifted one, the underestimated yet strong, the smart one, the hard worker.
This anime isn't revolutionary and definitely not something everyone would enjoy. But if you did watch it you will surely make you want to play the game and be curious about it.

Do I recommend it to everyone?
No,
but to those who like wrestling type of sports.
Those who want to know what it's like to play a non popular sport unlike basketball, football, tennis, and others.
Those who are ok with cliche plots and just want to pass time.
Then yes, this Anime can be good for you. Sure the plot can be done better but it's a matter of enjoyment and that's something only when you've watched it can be judged
