*SPOILERS AHEAD (I THINK)* I know that these plots are probably cliche. Where the mc has a childhood friend who they haven't talk to for years and a "rival" who has been with the mc and fell in love with him. Both has the cliche scene where the friend is conveniently near the door when the rival confesses to the mc And ofc they refused and say they are in love with someone else *NO MORE SPOILERS* I think if you want a wholesome and doesn't really care about the cliche, I think this is for you. If you've read either one and liked it. And you want to experience it again, I recommend reading the other one

Both are harem anime, where the MC can be seen cringey and annoying sometimes. (Both in Muse Asia too lol). They are both high schoolers and kind of the same art style. The ones you watch while there is nothing more to watch. The ones you'll put down and do something else because you can't bear what mc is doing or saying. Though if you like either one, I recommend the other one.

Both are anime that greatly expresses how one cope with trauma. One (Rudy) who is always bullied so he just chose to be alone and never wanting to leave their house, and one (Thorfinn) who witnessed the death of his father and is trying to get revenge.

It has a lot of cool characters and a lot of characters with different opinions about life, killing and war. Vinland in my opinion has one of the best character development for the main character and the side character.

If you liked the part of one piece where Luffy gathers his crew, then you might like this prequel of Magi. *IDK IF YOU CONSIDER THIS A SPOILER* It is where Sinbad gathers his crew that will one day help him build a country, and where he becomes possibly the strongest character in the series (MAGI IS MY FAVORITE ANIME SO IM BIASED AND SINBAD IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN MAGI AND IN ANY ANIME) Although I recommend watching season 1 and 2 Magi first so that you will understand what is happening.
