"...that I'd be able to reach the you of the past..."
Story (7): If you're looking for drama, mystey, drama and romance (no, there's no typo, I repeated drama twice), you'll find it here. They manage to keep the mstery during the entire developemen of the anime, but the pace is a little disturbing; they work nicely with time changes, but seem to have a hard time working with the way things happen in the present time.
Art (8): I've no complaints with the art, don't understand why blood is black, but that's all heh.
Sound (8): The music is very well fitting, specilly the opening. Overall the
...
sound was ok, but Aoi's voice turned a bit annoying if she talked too much.
Character (6): The characters by themselves are very nice, yet, the way they react at certain times of the anime seem a bit unrealistic. Also, there's a strange excess of development in supporting characters that could have been used to develop more of the main characters.
Enjoyment (6): Ok, the story was ok and the suspense was nicely kept, but I certainly would have enjoyed more character development and less unnecesary ecchi hints, those are too over rated in this kind of animes...
Overall (7): The story improves as it develops and starts leaving behind the fillers. Again, if you enjoy drama and the mystery behind people's actions, you'll probably enjoy Myself, Yourself.

...yourself... unable to leave everything behind...
Story (9.5): This anime is one of a few that have a great equilibrium between lighthearted laughs and a very deep and thuoghtful atmosphere. It's not just a drama, but a real approach to life, to it's questions, it's fear, it's pains and confusions. From the youth uncertainities of your own path and reasons to be, to the deeper ghosts of life like, attachments and fears that keep you from walking, learning the true meaning of love and facing an imperfect world. The only reason I didn't give it a 10, I'll admit is personal; at some point only one
...
of the character's story took too much importance, leaving me wanting to have more from the others.
Art (9): The art is very original and different from the stereotype, which is nice, althought, in the attempt to make Hagu extremely "kawai", she looked to me a bit Candy Candyish..., considering their good humor, I wouldn't doubt that's what they were trying to achieve. I specially loved how well the facial expressions conveyed each character's temperament and emotions.
Sound (10): Ahh, it's been a while since i've enjoyed an ending so much, both endings have just the perfect lyrics and feeling. And, hear this, you get to have an amazing plus because there are many episodes that include well thought songs to go with important moments, it reminded me of Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora's style. I actually looked up for the OST, sad enough, the OST doesn't include all this songs D: (random comment, I know).
Character (10): What I enjoy the most about slice-of-life, is the way characters really tend to be from flesh and bones, and H&C really achieved this well, we not only have a nice variety of characters, but each one of them has a very unique personality and ghost to deal with, you really get to feel empathy, at least with one of them. Even Morita-san, that could have simply be the random guy in other animes, was perfectly well executed, as the socially awkward loner, that loves deeply, but deals with the world in the most quirk of ways, I'll admit, I was just waiting to finish this anime to add him to my favorite characters list, there should be more free spirits in anime like him.
Enjoyment (10): If it took me a while to finish it, it was only because I restrained myself to watch it all at once, because I didn't wanted it to end. So, this is one of those stories that you'll laugh, cry, get angry and happy with the characters.
Overall (10): If you like to think about life itself, this anime is for you, if you like a nice slice-of-life, or enjoy to have a mixture between drama and comedy/randomness, you really should check it out, this anime really leaves you thinking after each episode is done and perhaps, lets you experience that fuzzy warm feeling inside, when you discover something new or that perhaps, you had fogotten. If you're looking simply to sit back and relax though, well, H&C might not be the right anime for that mood, as it gets pretty tense and serious at some episodes.

"...You mean hope to me..."
Story (9): As some have already said, this anime is mostly episodic, it involves some lighthearted episodes, some strange ones..., even some dark parts; yet in my opinion, it's beauty doesn't really lies on the episodic cases, but rather on how it tells you a story about personal knowledge, learning, trust and friendship.
Art (8): The art is very nice, specially the detail added in the vegetation. The only thing I don't like very much is the way they changed Haruka's "aspect", although, towards the end his "aspect" change means more than meet the eye, at least that was my opinion.
Sound (8):
...
The op, end and sound in general make a good complementary to the anime.
Characters (9): I think the characters are good, at the end of the anime you understand them and their reactions a lot better, yet, I didn't give it a higher score because during the first episodes it's a little hard to figure their essence, kinda like they are a bit contradictory at times. Yet I really enjoyed the way they made contrasts between youkai and human thoughts and feelings.
Enjoyment (8): I found it a bit hard to keep watching during the first episodes, it seemed to lack some consistency, like if I couldn't be sure if I was watching a comedy, a supernatural or a psychological anime, yet, when the main story became tangible, it got a lot more interesting and profound, finally each character developed dimension and I started to feel real empathy.
Overall (8): It's not a favorite, but I enjoyed watching it, specially the last episodes, the inner story was quite original and moving and the ending..., well, it was simply mind blowing, I'd give it a 10 if it was only for the last episode!

Story (6): Don't get me wrong, the story has good potential, but for some reason I kept feeling sometimes it moved too slow and other times it skiped important development and moved too fast.
Art (9): The art is very enjoyable, specially the design of the yokai, each character is very singular and deteiled in it's own way.
Sound (6): The ending quite grows on you, but I think the sound, plus Rikuo's classmates took a lot of the seriousness this story could have had.
Characters (10): Again, the youkai are very varied and well developed, having so many different characters, one would have not thought they would
...
take the time to give each one (at least the main ones) a chance to show their abilities and personalities.
Enjoyment (6): I must admit it kept me pretty interested till the end, the fights are quite nicely done.
Overall: If you like youkai, specially the ones that not necesarilly interact with humans as evil creatures, you'll probably enjoy it, don't expect to watch a very serious anime though, prepare for some lighthearted laughs and nice fights.

"A dirty stray cat"
Story (10): This is one of the most sober animes I've seen. In a quietly daily basis, it presents you with a society filled with hardship, cruelty, injustice and yet, people struggling to survive between cynicism, indiference and a little bit of hope, as fragile as a candle light.
Art (10): The art is very particular and mesmerizing. This is one of my favorite aspects of the anime. It suits the entire feeling of the characters and story perfectly: lazy deep eyes, expresive innocent eyes, mouths that look like translucent sketches of expression, gorgeous dark landscapes... not mentioning the atenttion to detail the
...
artists paid to develope parts of the story without needing to use dialogue.
Sound (9.5): Although I'd have liked the op and ending to have a more traditional sound, the sound as a whole does an excellent work, sometimes to simply acompany the scenery. And other times, to tell in a subtle way a whole different story, when you are only watching two people drinking.
Character (10): The characters are very well developed, they are not stereotypes, you can really see flesh and bones here. From the straight forward Masa, to the enigmatic Ichi, they all have a very rich inner life, that moves their actions and reactions in very particular ways. Showing the greys in white and black, or perhaps; turning from black to white and from white to black over and over.
Enjoyment (10): Well, I got to tell you, if you don't enjoy slow paced animes or expect to see fighting, well... you might not enjoy it too much, but give it a chance, this is a real psychological/artistic candy.
Overall (10): I'd really suggest you to watch it, this is a nice piece of work, artistically and philosophically. I mean, just watching the way the titles were chosen made me chuckle with pleassure.

...Always alone, eternally surronded by sad memories...
Story (8): The story in itself is very original and sweet, filled with hiden truths and deep sorrows behind tender smiles..., but even at the very end you're left to tie some loose ends. Also, sometimes there's too much going on and things seem a bit rushed trying to cover all the stories at once with Yukito, maybe they tried to cover too much in a very short anime.
Art (5): Nothing special, the scenarios were pretty and the characters agreeable, but nothing out of the average.
Sound (6): Nothing special either for me, well, the opening and ending are
...
nice, and fair enough, the opening began to grow on me towards the end of the anime.
Character (7): The characters were very different and particular, yet I'll give a low degree because many of them varely got the chance to start shining when their story ended. To be fair I'll say Yukito is a very dear character and his little puppet is great and has a lovely background story.
Enjoyment (8): I'll be honest, everytime an episode ended I needed to watch the next one just to see what would happen next or what the hell was going on, so, it will probably keep you interested through the entire anime.
Overall (7): If you enjoyed the drama, complicated darksides and the bits that were open for interpretation in H2O and Higurashi, you'll probably enjoy Air.

This is the story of an onmyōji... ...meant to say, but a simple medicine seller...
If you enjoyed Ayakashi, you'll love Mononoke, if you didn't like Ayakashi very much, but like the last arc, you'll love Mononoke ;)
Story (10): It's basically about this mysterious and laconic medicine seller that travels the world looking for mononoke to eradicate, yet, he has a very deep and thoughtful way of solving things, many times acting as an spectator and making humans around him unsure of his own motivations to act. Yet I most say it's not for all the public, it's stories show the worst of mankind and
...
often talk about very morbid sides of it, so beware of many suggestive topics.
Art (10): Very unique, fits perfectly with the traditional horror feeling and the details and color are simply gorgeous. The charcters look very disturbing sometimes, but I think it's a great way to convey the temperament or feelings in each character, as well as all the details involved in each picture.
Sound (10): The music, sound and voices, just like in ayakashi, convey perfectly the whole feeling of the anime.
Character (10): Very original and well developed, specially Kusuriuri, got to say this guy is one of my favorite characters of all times. Sometimes he gives you the creeps, while trying to figure what's happening behind his eyes and other times, you have to smile for his soft, ironic or cool side.
Enjoyment (10): If you like mistery and deep reflexions about life and beings, and are not afraid of taking a look at the morbid side of people, you'll love it, I could hardly keep from watching it all at once.

If this is the first time you're going to watch Munto, I'd suggest to skip the Ovas and come directly to the anime, because the first episodes are practicaly the same as the ovas.
Story: At first the story seems to fall in many cliches, yet, it's a rather original and enjoyable chosen-one story. I'd say it's a bit slicy-of-life convined with a bit of fantasy and a growing themed-anime, with a lot of tenderness and loyalty involved.
Art: The art is quite enjoyable, the characters are very cartoony, but fit with the fantasy story very well. The only thing is..., well, the art by itself seems
...
to change through the anime, not sure if I missed the explanation, but Munto seems to change constantly =P
Sound: Most of the music was too pop for me, but I must say I'll give it a 10 just for this sole song: Hikari to Yami to Toki no Hate, that has this fantasy/medieval feeling and has great lyrics that cover perfectly the feelings of this anime.
Enjoyment: As it is a very short anime is hard to get bored, although it might be a bit slow for action lovers, fights are not the main focus here.
Overal: If you enjoy stories that leave you with a bittersweet after taste and are willing to deal with the fact that the plot will develop quite fast without much explanation as long animes, I think you'll enjoy it.

Ok this will be my first review in this page, so, here I go.
Story (9): I must admit at first I thought it was going to be just a mellow slice of life story with tender stories and learning, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it turned out to be a pretty realistic story and tender story. Although, I wouldn't have minded if the story moved a bit slower, in my opinion the last episodes cover too many things in a short period.
Art (10): Very sweet, nothing too special, but the landscapes and style is quite enjoyable.
Sounds (10): If you like melancholic but
...
somehow happy music, you'll enjoy this, it's filled with this nostalgic sense of being so small in the streets.
Character (9): Although I think each character is pretty unique by themselves and portray humanity very well, I wish some of them could have developed a bit slower.
Enjoyment (10): I didn't wanted to finish it, each chapter had it's special something and the spin gave me a big, nice surprise.
Overall (9.6): If you enjoy slice of life dramas, I'm sure you'll like it, it leaves an interesting bittersweet taste afterwards.
